One of my Roams is discharging on the charger. I’ve spent hours chatting, talking on the phone (mostly on hold), submitting diagognistic reports and emailing for 2 weeks and no action, no answers, just the same explanation...

Hey Sonos users! I am writing for the first time and with some fear whether it is a lack of functionality or my inability, but choosing a new artist in apple music that I do not know, it is difficult for me to choose the album that I could choose. the chronology of the release of the records would be helpful. what do you think about my problem? Greg (a satisfied user of a 12-element sonos system)
I now have two sets of outdoor speakers and a Sonos amp but I’m not sure where to put the amp. Obviously it would be easier to hook it to the speakers if it was outside, but I’m not sure it can withstand the elements. Where do you recommend I put the amp? Where do others put it?? Thanks for your help!
So the update today has given me cause to renew my absolutely awful relationship with TruePlay. I’ve had Sonos gear for a couple of years. Every time I have tried to use TruePlay has been an absolute nightmare. 9/10 tunings sound utterly awful, like truly terrible, thin, sibilant, metalic.I have to go through all sorts of contortions, scanning parts of the room and not others, different devices until finally I get something passable. And even then I ALWAYS have treble set to -10 and would go lower if I could. These are expensive speakers. TruePlay almost ruins them. I am not alone in this. A bit of googling uncovers others with the same issue. I just can’t understand how Sonos can accept such an erratic EQ as the only EQ option apart from a simple bass/treble.It could be remedied quite easily. Either a better EQ (6 bands would be enough) and let us choose manual EQ instead of TruePlay. Or at least give us some trueplay options, that is, let us choose say TruePlay warm, Trueplay crisp, T
Trying to get my ducks in order. Will a SONOS One Gen 2 work on S1 or only a One Gen 1.Same again with the Move, will all Moves work on S1.Cheers, Keith.
Hi people. Will a sonos ikea lamp bought in canada work in Ireland. I know all the other speakers are 120/240v 50/60hz but not sure if the lamps are the same.
I am planning to purchase an Arc+Sub+Satellites in the coming months, and I will need either a new eARC equipped TV or an Arcana. I am leaning toward an Arcana in the hopes that I can add a powered splitter to the HHMI video output of the Arcana, allowing me to send video to my 4K panel and to a video only monitor 25 feet away. Any experience here with splitting that signal? I assume that because the Arcana successfully segregates the audio from the video that splitting the video is no big deal.Right?
Front to rear fader option please . Come on software developers.
I know the ability to move speakers into and out of groups more easily has been requested a lot. But I wanted to add my scenario because I think it shows how much this is needed.I had the Arc, Sub, 2xOnes HT setup. We use it for a lot of music as well as TV/movies, so I upgraded the rears to Fives. I’ve been struggling to get them tuned since the update. It turns out they sound better with the Fives as a stereo pair on their own. This also let’s me put the Fives in the perfect position for music alone. But this leaves me with the dilema of whether to group the sub with Fives or the Arc. Either way, half the time, I will have my beautiful $1100AUD sub sitting there doing nothing. That really sux.Surely it wouldn’t be too hard to let us save a small number of “profiles”? Then I could have a “music” and a “movies” profile that let’s me get full use of the sub. Please?
Hi folks. I have a box full of old vinyl records and I recently bought a double album by Goose. I bought it because it was released in my birthday and I really like the band. Joe Bonamassa re-released one of his double albums and I’d like to pick that up too. But now I’m thinking it would be great to actually listen to them! I’ve got a sound bar, a couple of One’s, an older Five and I recently bought a Roam. I love the whole Sonos experience. So I’m wondering what and where I should look for a turntable. I’ve also got a Bridge that I bought when I first got my Sonos system. Any info is appreciated. Craig
Is an Arc SL or 5.1 Surround set with Beam and One SL compatable with my Sharp LC-90LE657U?It only had HDMI ARC, not E ARC
Hi I don’t know if my issue is related to the 14.6 update but I noticed today that I had no sound from my surround (play 3) and my sub (Gen 2), only the Arc is working They are still present in the app under the my System view but now sound which every sourcesWhen I reboot each of them, the sound comes back temporary, but when I switch to another source or audio format, thé Sound disappears again. Tried several times, same behaviorThanks for your help
I have two Play:5 speakers and a Sub in my living room and I recently got a projector for that room. Right now, I’m using a Bluetooth receiver device connected to the 3.5mm TRS jack on the back of one of the Play:5s, but the Bluetooth connection is unreliable and due to the nature of Bluetooth, there is a slight audio delay. It would be great to be able to connect the projector directly to my Sonos system without Bluetooth. The projector has an HDMI-ARC port, and a few Sonos devices support ARC. A device that connects to an HDMI-ARC port and only acts as an “input” for a Sonos system would be very useful for my configuration. It’d be even more convenient if it had an option to be powered over PoE (but I won’t be holding my breath on that).
Settings with Arc?Settings on C1?
I have an older Sonos setup, consisting of three play:3 speakers, a connect: amp and a bridge. I want to upgrade my system so that I can use the Sonos app v. 2 as well as use airplay. I would like advice on whether to buy an Amp that I can use together with my play:3’s or, if it would be a better and longer lasting investment to buy three new Five speakers even though the latter will be quite expensive compared to just buying the Amp.Pros and cons?
Hello, will this setup work? Am I thinking this right? Thanks
Hi, folks. I have a few Sonos devices and have overall been very happy with the system. But I do find one bug/limitation extremely annoying. It seems like if you have “too many” files in a local music library, Sonos just can’t cope with it, and shows “No selections are available” any time you try to use it. You have to delete some files to make your library usable again.I don’t use streaming services. I only play my own music, that I own. It’s pretty ridiculous that I have to delete parts of my library or move them to places where Sonos can’t see them (and so I can’t play them on Sonos!), just because Sonos can’t write proper database code or something. I've seen discussions of this problem before, for years, and always assumed this would get fixed with a regular update because it’s such a ridiculous limitation. But I’m starting to lose patience (and would like to be able to buy more music!)My library isn’t even *that* huge, anyway. I’m sure some folks have more music than me. I seem t
Need some help! Getting ready to move into a new home where I will have a “man-cave” with 3 TVs (all going to be Samsung - don’t yet have the model numbers) on one wall. TV left and right will utilize Apple TV to stream YouTubeTV while the center TV will use a Verizon box. I’ve got a Beam (Gen 1), Sub, and (2) Play 1’s that I currently have set up in my home. I will be using the same system in the new home. My goal is to have the ability to choose what TV plays the audio… If we have three games on the TVs and TV 1 and 2 are on commercial i want to switch the audio to TV 3. If TV 2 is the only one that’s on i want to be able to tell the sonos that i want the audio to come from tv 2… I’ve been told that i should purchase this receiver (https://www.denon.com/en-us/product/av-receivers/avr-s650h) and have the three televisions connected to the audio inputs and have the sonos connected to the output port. I’d then be able to just use the remote to choose the audio output. Will this work?
Hello, i just buyed a sonos move, i read that the battery might be changed after 3 years..on the sonos web site the battery kit is out of stock. Does anyone knows if they’re still producing that one or it just ended here?? otherwise i will just give it back :(
After I retune my Sonos system, I notice less bass. I checked my EQ and I set it up like I have them before and I still hear less bass. I don't know if the last updated has something to do with it. Cuz I got a notification on my S2 App telling me to retune my Sonos system. reason Cuz, it reset it with the updated. does anybody have the same problem?
Hi, I am hoping someone can help.We have recently purchased the Sonos Ray sound bar and we have only just realised that the optical on our television doesn't work. We have a spare HDMI port on our television, is there any other way of connecting the sound bar to my television without using the optical port? Our TV is a smart TV with WiFi if that makes any difference. Thank you.
Hello, I recently bought a Ray bar and I’m using it mainly to listen to music. During summer nights, we set up in our garden a projector to watch old movies. I plug an Apple TV 4k to it and until now I used an old set of wired speakers for the sound. Can I replace the speakers with the Ray? Will I be able to use Airplay for the movie sound? The only HDMI port is used to connect the AppleTV to the projector. Thanks for the assistance!!
I know the shelf is technically not a Sonos product, but there is no one to contact at Ikea. Basically, the Wireless charging on the shelf is horrible! Takes me like 2-3 minutes to find the right spot to charge the phone even though they put a big plus on it where the device is supposed to go.
Hi, I can get either my Arc and Sub to show up on the app, but not my three amps. If I delete the app and reload then I can get the three amps to show up, but not the Arc or Sub. I have tried wired individually and daisy chained and wireless, nothing seems to work. I have wired speakers connected to the amps, then work on individual TV’s, but not with the ARC and Sub. Is there something, I am missing?
