sonos connect

I have 2 trailers used for tailgating. Currently, we use a Yamaha receiver, B&W 601s, and Def Tech Super Cube sub in one trailer. We are using a Connect for music streaming. We want to extend to the other trailer with a play base and multiple Ones. WiFi is not a problem and neither is power. Will the Connect allow us to add the others and group everything?

Only issue is that running connect into your Yamaha receiver - it could introduce a little bit of delay and therefore would play a few milliseconds behind the direct play to the Playbase and Ones.   Be sure to put the receiver in some type of direct mode to reduce as much processing as possible to avoid some echo therefore.

But yes the connect, and the new devices will all show in your sonos app and be able to play independently or grouped together.

It should, assuming the new devices are running the same OS, and are on the same WiFi subnet. You’ll can have up to 32 Sonos devices on a single setup.

It’s a shame that post has to be eventually moderated, I have had pizza at that bar, they have my favorite (or did, last time I was there) Patxi’s pizza. But, per the rules of this forum that we all agree to when we sign up, links to outside non-Sonos related things are considered spam, and will at some point, cause the post to be moderated. Seems odd to spam an international forum with a link to a small California chain of bars (there are two? Three? I’ve only been to one).
