So after months of misery are things looking up? I did practically a full day of changing tracks, adding tracks, pausing, adjusting volume, etc like the good old days yesterday. Obviously I didn’t want to get too excited but after playing with it again today for a few hours and still things working as they should I’ve got a spring in my step and life is seemingly getting better 😂I’m not exactly sure when or if indeed an update has sorted things because I’d given up on it and stopped trying to use it, I’ve not done anything different on my end so fingers crossed. 🙏🏼
I have purchased a Connect:Amp from a seller who claims he never activated or used the upgrade option. He says the discount eligibility should transfer to my Sonos account. The device is registered, but the upgrade discount option does not appear. What am I doing wrong?

If you activate the eARC option on LG OLED evo C4 (2024 model) the native DD+ 5.1 audio is sent from the Apple TV 4K gen3 streaming Apps to the Sonos ARC soundbar in Multichannel PCM 5.1 format with loss or little presence of surround effects and poorly reproduced central voice, while if you deactivate the eARC option on the TV (therefore keeping the less performing ARC transmission) the audio reproduced by Sonos ARC is the native DD+ 5.1 with the surround and central voice effects present and well reproduced...using the smart TV apps downloaded from the LG store the audio in eARC passes to the Sonos ARC soundbar correctly and is faithfully reproduced in DD+ 5.1...is there anything that can be done to avoid disabling eARC, which results in the failure to play Dolby Atmos streams ???...
Hello Sonos Community and Team,I’ve been a dedicated Sonos user for over 10 years and truly appreciate the innovation and quality your products deliver. I currently have a Sonos Home Theater setup that includes:Sonos Arc Ultra 2 Era 300 speakers 2 Sonos SubsWhen streaming music, Sonos allows you to choose the “Play from All Speakers” option, ensuring the audio is evenly distributed throughout the home. However, when TV is the audio source, the system automatically selects a 5.1 surround sound configuration without offering any choice for how stereo sound is handled. Unlike music playback, there’s no option to override this setting to play the audio on all speakers. Why This is Important:Stereo Content Dominance: Most videos on platforms like YouTube are in stereo. The current 5.1 emulation for TV playback often fails to activate the rear speakers properly, leaving them silent. Impact on Larger Rooms: In bigger spaces, this uneven audio distribution means that the sound isn’t filling the
Hi, please advise i have ussue with sonos app unable to sign in as the system owner, tried everything, reinstall the app, log out
I have a set up with Sonos Arc, Bass, and 2 ERA 100s and they don’t sound really good with youtube tv live via Apple TV. I have tried everything I believe. Everything comes out of the Sonos ARC and hardly out of the ERA 100s. They were expensive and I would like it to work properly….I used the music app through sonos and music came out great!!
I have some nice Front L/R speakers along with some in-ceiling rear speakers.I went and purchased a Sonos Arc along with the two Sonos Amps and was surprised to find out that the Arc could not be setup as a Center Channel only. Seems to me that Sonos missed an opportunity to sell me some more gear. I returned the ARC and will setup the fronts to produce a “faux” center speaker.
Does anyone know if using an HDMI cable labeled "High Speed" or "Ultra High Speed" is a better option to use with the Sonos Arc Ultra rather than the one included?
I have a playbar with optical out only port only. How do I connect this to an old projector that only has HDMI ports? The HDMI switchers I see don’t seem to have optical ports?
One of my Ones suddenly has no white light and has lost connection to my wifi.I cant get it to do anything.Any options for me.
I recently upgraded my wifi system form an RBR50 based Orbi router plus 3 sateelites ot a Google Nest Pro mesh system and it has been a disaster. The system drops out at random and it is clear form other posts that there are some fundamental issues with the nest pro mesh system. I am not a techie and do not have any more hours to spend on support chats/calls (I just want a system that I can connect up after restting my mixed Sonos system and it works and can be controlled from my PC, iphone and iPad, seemingly not possible on google.I know that soem folks have found workarounds but I just want a simple life. Any help much appreciated.
AirPlay works fine on both devices. If I try to play music on the Sonos App with Apple Music, the Era100 works perfectly (I also get the Lossless resolution symbol). But if I try to play with the Arc, I get a message saying that “it was not possible to play the selected song, retry” and skips to the next song (and get the same message again). How can I solve this? I really wanted to make use of the Dolby Atmos feature.
In the last day or two, I have been seeing intermittent delays in syncing Apple Music playlists to the Sonos app’s Apple Music playlist view. At one point, it takes hours for a playlist to sync, and, later, it syncs instantly. Notes: This is not related to the Music Library function, which I can’t set up right now, anyway, for unknown reasons. I have seen these delays with several small test playlists I have no trouble seeing pre-existing Apple playlists Spotify playlist and album syncing works perfectly.Has anybody run into this particular problem and seen the problem fix itself, or been able to fix it definitively? Comments from Sonos on the reliability of Apple servers are welcome. Thanks.

I have Sonos Arc, Sonos Amp connected to two rear ceiling speakers and a Sonus Sub. I have a one year old Samsung QE55S95C. When I had my previous TV I had an Apple 4K box. When this transmitted Atmos, I could see this on the app. Now I have a new TV with eARC and Apple built in, I do not see the audio format on the app. I am unsure if this is related to the new TV or the changes within the app. I have connected eArc from the TV to the Arc.When watching TV the app does not show the format of the sound as it used to do. So when watching something that I know is in Atmos, the app simply says source HDMI. If I go into settings to see each component on my Android phone, there is no line for “Audio In”When I go to settings on my iPad I get each component serial number, Sonos OS, Version, Hardware version, IP address and a line for Audio in. However for no component is anything listed in “Audio in”I have spoken to tech support and they have confirmed that they can see that I
Hi.I have a beam gen 1+2 one gen 1=sub gen 2.It will be a diference if ai put the one s as rear speakers and add 2 sonos one in front,or is it better to buy 2 sonos play 3 to put them as front speakers.thanks
CNN recently reviewed three soundbars. Overall they were favorable with the ARC ULTRA, but I have a few nits to pick.First, the review states that Android devices support Trueplay. This is incorrect. Full Trueplay supports iPad/iPhone, not Android, however, ARC ULTRA supports the Quick Tune option that does not require a phone/pad.Also, there is a picture showing the test setup. I cannot recommend setting up a system as shown in the picture. First, there are objects near each end of the ARC ULTRA. Since both ends of ARC ULTRA emit sound, the nearby sound reflections will compromise the L/R “image” presented up front. In general you should not have any objects nearby. For this reason I cannot recommend placing soundbars in a confining bookcase. I also feel that a soundbar will sound better if it is brought forward to the front edge of a shelf.Second, there are WiFi devices very close to ARC ULTRA. The risk of WiFi interference is very high when a router is located nearby. Plus, there
At the moment i have a beam and sub, both gen 1, for watching TV.For listening to music i would like to add some extra speakers, for example 2 era100/300>Is it possible to setup the extra speakers so they work with playing music and watching tv, and not only when playing music? For music i would like the extra Era 100/300 with the sub.For TV i would like the above and the beam.Is that possible?
Okay I'm just letting everybody know I just got off the official Sonos website and Sonos will not hook up to Roku even through the string bars HDMI arc so they're telling me I almost paid $700 for a Sonos subwoofer I'm glad I didn't

Finally got my pair of Fives and Stands. Absolutely fantastic. Whatever I throw at them, Rock, RnB, Pop, Jazz, Classical. Just brilliant. So much power yet so much subtlety.I went for these stands at about half the price of Sanus etc and I am delighted with them. Premium look and feel (more so than my Sanus stands on my Ones). The bracket holds the Five securely. Impossible for it to fall off. No rattle whatsoever. All the screw holes etc really well machined. Look really nice too with a subtle metal ring detail at the top of the column. Highly recommend: https://www.wilko.com/en-uk/avf-white-sonos-five-floor-speaker-stand-2-pack/p/0633901 I'm finding the app pretty much fine these days too. Quick tip for anyone who hasn't found it yet... If the app isn't grouping when you try, open up the web app and group there. That always works for me. Then I go back to the Android app.I have a shortcut to the web app on my phone, so it's a very quick process. If you use Google Chrome on Android, j
Hello,I had the same issue with my Sonos Arc. I thought it would be resolved with a new and pristine Sonos Arc Ultra. When gaming or watching uncompressed Dolby Atmos content, the sound cuts out for a split second every 20 minutes, almost on the minute. I have tried different HDMI 2.1 cables. Ultra High Speed cables. The sound is beautiful and flawless for 20 minutes at a time. So that’s about 3 moments of irritation every hour when gaming or watching movies. Since the same issue has been here for 4 years, I’m starting to think it’s a Samsung issue. Is Sonos in contact with Samsung to resolve the issue together? I have tried about everything there is to try for the past 4 years. But I am open to suggestions.
Hi, what is the best location for Era 300s in this room? The TV is about centered on the middle of the couch (behind the camera), which is not centered in the room. The ceiling has beams that are 10” tall. I was thinking maybe 2 ft down from the ceiling, and above the left and right sides of the couch. Would that be good? Or what would be better? I have the Sonos wall mounts.
Hi all , is there a way of checking if all my speakers are connected via Sonos Net in the app ?? My beam gen 2 is connected via ethernet, can't seem to see in the app if it says connected via Sonos Net, thanks
