Hi,
I am currently have beam gen 1, 2 One SL as surround, 1 sub mini. I mainly steam movies through Apple TV. Should I upgrade to Beam Gen 2 or Arc and do I need to upgrade the 2 One to Era in order to have Atmos? Thank in advance

Personally, I don’t find the Atmos effects on the Beam 2 to be worth upgrading, they just aren’t that great compared to the Arc. So if you were to upgrade, I’d get the Arc or Arc Ultra.
And you do not need to upgrade to Era speakers to get Atmos. I get Atmos from two Ones used as surrounds.

I do, using PLAY:1s. The Atmos is provided by the upfiring speakers on the Arc, not the surround speakers.

Yes, upgrading to the Arc is the way to go. However, you need to hurry as the Arc via Sonos is listed as “Last Chance” which means no more Arc’s will be acquired/built. Sonos has a great price on the Arc at present. I would not count on it getting any lower. Also, in case you are wondering you cannot use an upgrade credit for your Beam toward the “sale” price of the Arc; unless your credit is 30% which would be greater than the Arc’s reduced online sale price. “Stacking” of discounts is not allowed.
