Hi.I am just curious why the Sonos app updates so frequently?The app seems to update 2 or 3 times a week!Everything is working okay now after the latest update but prior to that the sound (whether coming directly from the TV or from streaming music via the Amazon Music app) kept sporadically going mute and I had to fiddle around to get it working again.I am currently on Sonos OS S2, Version 14.4 and Build 67127100Anyone else had this problem and by the way it's no fault with my fibre optic internet connection or WiFi !Cheers 🍻 

the play menu and the library should show the length of the items listed. this would greatly assist in selecting items, e.g. different versions of the same songALSO - personally I am very frustrated with having to use my phone to setup the systems.  i have a dedicated desktop for my music and you have made it almost defunct :(

Can you tell me which one it is and how it compares with Sonos one Sonos move and Sonos roam?

Today I started testing Amazon Music HD, and I see the HD tag when playing music on Beam, I know that Sonos announced that the Play:1 does not support HD, but I know that for example, they work with Dolby Atmos when connected to an Arc. Does the same thing happen when they are connected to Beam?  That is, if I group the Play:1 with the Beam, will the Play:1 play music in HD?

why did Sonos S2 v14.3 drop support for my Connect:Amp? it was happily working with all my other devices until this release. the C:A is hardware version 1.17.3.1-1.1 and has S2 v14.4. It still works in S2 v14.2 on my iPad but not v14.3 on my iPhonei see there is S2 v14.4 on the itunes app store, will it restore support?

Hello everyone, Is it possible to replace the simple HDMI Cable beam gen 2 by a 2.1 HDMI or E-Arc HDMI to get better sound experience ? Thank you

What are you thoughts on a modification to the Sonos software I believe should happen. i think it was be so much better that in the event of a power blip / power out that a ‘room’ should automatically connect to the last played music source instead of having to select music, when the power is returned.thanksfor your thoughtsPeter  

I recently bought a sonos beam and sub after viewing in store I was very impressed. However when using with a LG C9, i am having issues. Basically the volume level is not consistent at all. I used a sound db app to get a rough level playing field across apps and this is what i found.Normal TV Freeview = 50% volume via app.You Tube (inbuilt app) = 23% volume via app. « this is the level i was expecting based on what i normally set the internal TV speakers to.  Spotify (inbuilt app) =  14% volume via app. Spotify (airplay) = 47% volume via app.  I haven’t gone through all apps and content yet but this is really noticeable.  TV settings are passthrough (not difference on PCM or Auto on normal TV viewing) and eARC is on. HDMI CEC is on as well.   Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!  Thanks, Matthew  

I’m looking to upgrade my wall mounted soundbar with the arc. Is the soundbar wall mount bracket compatible with the arc?

My setup:  (all latest firmwares).  100% streaming through ATV4K.  Mainly YouTubeTV, Netflix, HBO, AppleTV+.ATV4K → arcana input.  Arcana eARC out → Sonos Arc.Arcana HDMI out → LG B8 HDMI ARC problem:  when tv is turned off (sleep), when powers back on, ATV audio setting has turned DA off and no sound through Sonos Arc.  If I restart ATV4K, DA comes back alive and sometimes then works perfectly until next sleep cycle or the DA sound is very broken.  Then if I unplug the Sonos arc, it works perfectly.note:  this started between May 2021 and Feb 2022.  I was not using ATV during this time.  Worked perfectly before this time.  Same 8K ultra fast HDMI cables as prior.  any ideas what might cause this.  Appreciate any advice..

Hi all,I am needing some assistance with trying to get sound from my Sonos Amp zone in the Kitchen to play with my living room.My setup right now is as follows:Sonos Port connected to Receiver using audio out (Sonos Port) & Audio in (receiver) TV connected to Receiver via eArcWhen I am playing sound from TV to receiver via eArc, how do I go about adding my zone in the kitchen to play along with my living room speakers?  What is the proper input/output methods to getting this to work?Thank you!

Hello. I am posting this here since Sonos prevents comments on older threads.  Anyway, I am trying to determine what the official ohm range of the Sonos AMP is. I’m assuming it is 4-8 ohms or 250 watts at 4 ohm and 125 watts at 8 ohm. If this is the case, what I’m not understanding is how Sonos recommends wiring 6 speakers in parallel (when using their architectural speakers). Aren't these 8 ohm speakers? Wouldn’t a total of 6 speakers wired in parallel create a system that is only 2.6 ohms? While on vacation with a Roam and mobile app will i have access to my music library without downloading music to my phone?

In regards to the battery installed in the Sonos Move, how many cells are in the battery and is the watt hour rating written on the battery? 

why does my SL chime ascending tone? No alarms set

All the music avail thru Amazon Prime Music app will not play on Sonos Move. Example: “JS Bach St Matthew Passion” is avail on Prime but does not show up under search in Sonos app. Only limited sub-set of Bach music appears on Sonos app. I have successfully connected my Amazon account under the settings/services in Sonos app.  Have others had same experience? Alternatively, can Sonos speaker function solely as bluetooth connection (not thru Sonos app) to smart phone or is this too simple?

I just bought a new Sony TV Bravia, in which I plug an Apple TV. I have a Sonos Roam in another room (kitchen). When I am looking at a movie there is a latency (delay) in the sound between TV and Roam that makes it impossible to use.The Apple TV is connected to the network via Ethernet, but the Roam of course with the WiFi of the same network. Is that the issue?In fact with the previous Tv the sound was going to a Linn amp, and not trough the Apple TV. How to solve the problem? A Sonos app in the TV?SuonO app, but every comments are negative about it?I tried to connect directly the Sony TV to the Roam but  it didn’t work. Thank you for your help.

Seems that since people would have to replace components when digital tech exceeds capabilities of legacy equipment (ie S1 v S2), a Modular approach might be better to upgrade your system products.  Separate the digital processing aspects from the audio/analog-power systems and provide modular pieces.  Provide a way to plug and play upgrades.  This way you may be able to update processing without people having brick components or separate between controller system versions and pay for replacing a perfectly good audio portion.  You might also be able to release audio system module upgrades as well.  Of course, this may not be your current business model, but some good System Engineering could help you solve these business issue problems. 

My Sonos Move keeps turning off every time I take it off the charger. It says it’s fully charged but seems to power off every time it leaves the doc.I’d be grateful for any suggestions on how to resolve. Thank you. 

I have a Playbar as my audio device for my Pioneer plasma monitor. The Roku Ultra drives the audio (to Playbar) and video (to Pioneer plasma) to both devices. I’ve had this setup since 2016. I’d like to add Sub Gen 3. I do have the S2 app setup, but when I watch TV (streaming various apps from the Roku), I don’t ever touch the S2 app.Are there any issues using the Playbar with the Sub Gen 3 in this configuration?Thanks in advance.

I have two Gen 3 speakers I use as stereo in my LR. I’m getting a new TV and wondered if I purchase a Beam sound bar for the TV will I be able to use it to pay music along with the other speakers for a fuller sound. Will they all sync?  Other suggestions?
