LG TV losing connection with Sonos

I have an lg 55uh77 tv, connected to my Sonos beam via HDMI arc. Every so often, the connection will drop out and the sound will revert to the TV speakers for around 10 seconds. Why is this happening?

Assuming there’s no fault with the equipment, my thoughts are that something else connected to one of the other HDMI ports (not the Beam (HDMI ARC port) is attempting to steal the CEC (Simplink) focus away. Perhaps switch off CEC on your other connected devices. Note each device may have its own name for CEC control so you may need to check the user manual to find/disable it.

If you can narrow it down to a particular connected device, like Apple TV or PlayStation for example, then just disable CEC on that one device only.
