Hi I’m a little bit of a novice when it comes to audio tech.  I have a Sony PS LX310BT bluetooth turntable, an Arc and two One SL’s. What do I need to pair and integrate the turntable with my Sonos system?

Does anyone know when v11.9 was released on sonos s1?.. there is a bug with this version I discovered and am wondering when 11.9 came out… many thanks in advance 

I am planning to add a phono to my sound system setup. I currently have a port connected (Digital Out) to an external Analog-to-Digital Converter which then runs to my stereo preamp, then amplifiers, then speakers (of course). In this way, I am avoiding the Port A-to-D, and using my supposedly better fidelity off-board converter. If I were to connect a phono to the port, I assume I would connect to the line in. I have a few questions: I assume the RCAs labeled “Out” on the port are analog outputs? Do I connect the phono pre-amp before the “In” RCAs, or after the “Out” RCAs? I read before the “In” is correct, but does it matter? Would the phono signal be available at the output RCAs, as well as the digital out?  Would the output RCAs have been digitized/un-digitized, or would it just be pass-through? In other words, would the line-in source be passed to the “Out” RCAs without going through a A-to-D and then an D-to-A?Obviously, I could just route phono to phono pre-amp, then to stereo p

Since Sonos is having so many problems, playing Apple Music. Is there a quality difference between playing airplay or Sonos app? Does it sound better coming through the Sonos app versus straight from airplay?

I have a TV with a Sonos beam attached.I also have a Sonos Move, a Sonos Rome and 4 Sonos Amps outputting to speakers throughout my house and pool area.  If I play music through the beam and group other speakers, everything works GREAT.   No issues whatsoever.  If I put the source on my SmartTV to Youtube and play videos and only play the beam, no issues whatsoever.  However, when i group the other speakers (Move, Roam and Amps), I get audio skipping.  I have seen this topic many times but I haven’t found a solution.   My connection is great.  I have fast and strong internet.  I have also tried new cables, switching TV’s, connecting the TV and Beam via ethernet and have placed calls to support with no luck.Unless I get a good solution, my next step will be to put another amp and connect my TV and a non-sonos soundbar to the Amp and see if that works.This is really frustrating.  I have a significant investment in Sonos products and I don’t think what I am trying to do is unreasonable.

  I’ve looked at this thread:  However, even though my surround speakers are set to full sound, when I play certain things, they simply don’t make any noise.  Maybe I’m doing something wrong.  But why cant their just be a mode to switch out of surround and simply have all speakers with the same volume and/or have separate control over each speaker.I think maybe what I would like is having setup profiles, where we could choose on the fly how the speakers work together.Anyway, any hints.Just for sample, this site I was trying to play and maybe someone could fill me in why it’s not working.I’m chromecasting this site through the tv.  Thanks,

I have had a Sonos Roam for a little over a year and a half now… It’s without a doubt the most dysfunctional, glitchy, defective speaker I have ever used… I have multiple HomePods and HomePod minis and several Sonos products that work flawlessly but the Roam stutters across multiple Wi-Fi networks and often has difficulty connecting to Bluetooth…but the biggest problem is the transition from one to the other.  I have reset the device literally dozens of times and had to forget and re establish the Bluetooth connection and it will work for a day or two and crap out again. This is clearly a well-known problem and I have tried a multitude of fixes that I have researched on these forums and nothing works. It  simply is not worth the trouble. 

Hi I have two use cases:   ** Listening to TV indoors - TV + Beam 2 (working).  I have an  LG Oled TV paired with my BEAM 2 for watching TV and listening to Music (Spotify from TV to beam).      **Listening to Music Multiroom - TV + Beam &  AMP + 2 external speakers (not yet working).I want to listen to music indoors on my TV+Beam (ideally, spotify) while also listening to the same music outside.  I am considering purchasing an AMP and two Sonance speakers to use for the outdoors.Are there any considerations I need to take into account here? How do I set up mirrored music play for outside? I dont want my AMP speakers to be surround sound, but I do want them to be 

So the Plex integration doesn’t get HD or Hi Res flag in the interface when playing hi res files,When you “cast” from Roon over Sonos and it shows the signal path as being lossless again it doesn’t show the flag…Is there any way to get HD or Hi res flags other than streaming direct from local media library? Thanks

I’m hoping to use 4 Sonos ceiling speakers (2 front, 2 rear) with one Sonos amp for tv viewing in a 21’ w x 18’ d room.I know many folks normally don’t recommend only using ceiling speakers for tv viewing because it’s odd to have sound coming from a different direction than to tv, but does trueplay and the virtual center channel in a larger room eliminate that problem?

I’m considering getting a half decent CD player - perhaps a Marantz CD6007.  Highly rated, decent DAC, looks good - what’s not to like.  My only speakers are my Sonos - Five / Play:5 in a fairly inaccessible location in the kitchen, Beam 2 / Sub / 2 x Symfonysk lights as my TV surround in the living room, and 1’s dotted around the house.What’s the best way to connect the CD player?  Logically the answer is the Port, but I see people say a Five is “just as good” an option.  it’s just mines are high up and  not necessarily in the right room to listen or run a 3.5mm cable to!At some point I’d perhaps consider Era 300’s for the living room, though (and this is tragic) the fact the Symfonisk’s are decent side lights is actually one of the draws to keeping the Symfonisks, and I’d need new lights to replace them, and have to figure out how to fit both Era’s and replacement lights on to very small tables.  As I said, tragic, first world, stupid problems! 🤣   What do you think my best option i

I have the Era 300 which I LOVE! But I would love it even more if the Sonos controller app on the Mac supported displaying the [Dolby Atmos] Indicator Logo when playing Dolby Atmos tracks from Apple Music.

Ever since I upgraded to the Sonos S1 iOS app a few years ago, I’ve been having connection issues. Here’s what’s happening: I have a Sonos Connect:Amp. The amp is in a basement cabinet with router and cable modem. I have 2 exterior rock speakers that are hard-wired directly into the amp. The amp is connected via Ethernet to a small hub that’s connected to the WiFi router right next to the unit. The Sonos LAN settings are configured for Ethernet (says WM:0) in About My System. I have 2 WiFi networks. Call them Primary and Secondary. The reason for the Secondary will be explained below. The Primary WiFi network is an Apple AirPort Extreme (located on 3rd floor) with AirPort Express repeaters at different spots around the home (garage, basement and pool cabana, all Ethernet wired). I have full strength no matter where I am. It’s been rock solid for years. Looks the names of my zones have been changed somehow in my sonos profile and it is causing some rooms to play music and one of my rooms I can’t get music to play. I looked at my setup and it looks like the names are different from what was originally set up I need to redo my configuration and start from scratch.  What is the best way to do that?

The Sonos Roam is constantly dropping from my home PC and iPhone. Yes, it’s set up properly via wifi with the Sonos app. Yes, I follow the instructions on the Sonos site (incl. factory reset). Yes, it’s fully charged. Etc, etc. I even get it to work sometimes (for several consecutive days)...until it doesn’t (dropping randomly with me doing absolutely nothing).I have looked in several Sonos community threads to investigate and a lot of feedback is not helpful (things I already did repeatedly) and usually condescending (the equivalent of “try ctrl-alt-del you dolt”).My gripes -Why does my Roam keep dropping randomly when using Bluetooth (on my phone or PC) - Actually, don’t answer this - I give up. Why does the Roam not have a Bluetooth button if it is intended to be primarily a Bluetooth device (using the on/off button to pair the device is an idiotic design flaw in my view)? Why do I need to link it with my wifi to get it started in any case (few if any other Bluetooth-enabled speaker

Did Sonos just increase price across its product line on June 22, 2023 without any notice? I was looking at Play 5s and Outdoor Speakers and while still researching they both went up by $50 each from one day to the next. What’s going on, it’s the same product and no a newer release so why the price increase. 

 Hi, I am having a kitchen refurb done in a couple of months and I'm thinking ahead about a sound system.  Sonos seems like a good solution, but I have no sonos products and could do with some advice please on what to get. The space is fairly large and open plan - see pic.  What I am looking to establish is:-What type of speakers?   Should I consider ceiling speakers? How many? Where would they be positioned? Do I need an amp?Some random info:-Stereo or Surround - I'm not into home cinema and so I reckon a stereo system will do unless surround sound will offer some advantages in filling the space? That said, will it be possible to even create a stereo field in a room of this shape? Perhaps surround is the best option? The system will need to be good enough to support a party so fairly loud! I like house, techno, D&B, bass, chillout, and ambient. Mainly electronic. Maybe ceiling speakers would help, but I thought (maybe incorrectly) that I'd need 6 of these and got very confused wh

I have two Sonos Connect devices (in different rooms) running S1. Device A is connected by ethernet and B by wifi. RIght now, my router reserves bandwidth both for the Ethernet connection to A and for the Wifi connection to A, along with the wifi to B. (The router recognizes 3 Sonos connections.) The problem is the router partitions bit-speed, and I'm at the limit of what my ISP can do. So I want to make the A connection eithernet only, bringing down the denominator by one in the division of bandwidth. Sonos does have a setting for that, but when I disable wifi to A, mysteriously B disappears from my system. Can anyone help me fix this? 

Hello all!I currently have an old "all in one" home cinema system in the Sony bdv-N590 (5.1) and was wondering if somebody else out there has had a similar upgrade experience to a Sonos surround package? My current system stands up pretty well to be honest both as tv sound and music (I've moved a few 1ns and era 300 into the living room to compare and simply put, 5 speakers are better than 1 (or 2)). I'm looking to upgrade because my system lacks the newer encodings, I always find speech a bit muffled and I also have a burning desire to Sonos-fy everything!! My only reluctance is whether the upgrade is worth it or should I wait one more generation (plus the electrician costs to get electrical sockets installed behind the rear 300s.... :s).Any input would be appreciated 👍 

I am a long-time Sonos user and I recently bought a Sonos Roam. I am disappointed that the basic thing about having a dual orientation USB-C charging port was not implemented: the device charges only if a USB-C to USB-C cable is plugged in on the Roam’s end in one orientation, but not the other. I tried a few cables and a few chargers and concluded that it was the Sonos Roam’s fault. Considering that Sonos is a premium brand, I wonder why this wasn’t implemented.Sure, the included USB-A to USB-C cable works both ways, but the world is moving towards USB-C only, so this design is a missed opportunity.

Hi Folks,I just got a Sonos Arc with a pair of Era100s and a Sub (gen3). I would love to pair it with my BenQ W770ST projector that has served me well for movie viewing for the past 10 years. I know, projectors aren’t exactly the intended companion for Sonos Arc, especially old ones without eARC, but my research prior to purchasing the Arc indicated that it was possible if I set it up with an HDFury Arcana. So great is my desire to have this work that I purchased one of those too.   I got my projector’s HDMI cord connected into the “HDMI out” port on the Arcana. I connected the HDMI from my Sonos Arc to the “eARC” port on the Arcana. A third HDMI is connecting my XboxOne to the “HDMI in” port on the Arcana. I initiated the set-up, which first asked me to turn on CEC on my “TV” (in this case projector). Fortunately my projector has the option to turn on CEC. However, the next part asks me to enable Audio Out on my “TV,” and here is where I’m currently hung up. I can find no Audio Out op
