Hi - my Play 3 seemed to go through some unannounced update/reset and I am no longer able to find how to turn-off the status lights overnight.

Hi I’m considering purchasing a Sonos Era 300 for listening to music. I’ve watched some YouTube videos, read reviews and am a little confused now whether to go for one Era 300 or get a stereo pair of Era 100s.I am also interested in whether to add a sub mini into the equation as I like bass.The music I mainly listen to is house, drum n bass, and not sure how much is with Dolby Atmos. I currently listen to music via an Amazon Echo speaker (don’t judge) but appreciate good quality sound and want to upgrade my listening experience in my home. The speaker(s) will sit in my open plan living dining and kitchen space approx 40m2, in the living space which is on one side of the open space.I’m open to getting two Era 300s either from the start or adding a second later on. And should I consider the sub mini or wait?i welcome advice on where to start on my Sonos journey. Thank you!  

I have a very old play:3. it connects fimne (on bluetooth then its own WIFI ) and all is good until it tries top get a audible PIN - no sound. They asks top press the button (on mine its the Start/stop, on the app its Mute) - no reaction. Tried restarting, factory reset, etc etc.Any help out there?

I just updated the Sonos app and now nothing works. App finds speakers but then loses connection while trying to set up. What do I do? Nothing works 

I just got my SONOS ONE and it’s been nothing but a pain. Won’t connect to my iPhone 14 this system is junk and customer service is terrible. I can’t believe this overpriced speaker( which by the way I have 2 of them) will not even connect! I’ve tried everything to no avail so disappointed and frustrated with the customer service the bit is useless and a live response is impossible unless you want to wait 65-95 minutes, yes you heard me right 65 minutes the first time I called 95 the 2 time! It’s completely outrageous!!!

Hiwhy is my old sonos 1 not responding has cast as it use to when I use my phone to increase the volume it takes a good 10 seconds to respond 

I recently connected my TV to my Mac with Airplay and ever since that happened, I now have to use Airplay to use my Era 100s, but there is a huge lag in audio playing using that method. But, now when I select using Bluetooth (which worked up till now), I am not getting any audio output. What can I do to resolve this? I have tried “Forget this device” and restarted the pairing, but this doesn’t solve the problem. This is really annoying. I believe the Airplay option was always there even before connecting my TV, but now it’s the only option to play my computer’s audio through the Era 100s, but with a really annoying delay. The other issue is when I switch tabs in my browser, the audio doesn’t play at all and I have to disconnect the Era 100s via Airplay, click on the Era 100s via BT, and then come back to Airplay to get them to play delayed audio. This is terrible. It just worked before I messed with Airplay at all to connect to my TV.

I am trying to add voice control to my Sonos era 100. Even though the microphone button is set to "on", the Sonos app asks me to make sure microphone is on. I also cannot pair my era 100 using Bluetooth.Has anyone encountered this problem?Thank you!

Hello, I have 2 Sonos One SL speakers, Beam and subwoofer. Purchased about 4yrs ago. WiFi connected to Xfinity xFi gateway located on 2nd floor. The xfinity cable box is about 25ft as the crow flies from my SL speakers and 15ft from the Beam with one interior wall between the box and spkrs. The issue I’ve always had is the SL speakers cutout. Usually I unplug and plug back in. This works for a little while. Per the xfinity app showing device connections, the Beam is connected at 2.4Ghz and SL speakers connected at 5Ghz. The xfinity app shows strong connection to spkrs and Beam. The Sonos app shows strong connection to the Beam but the SL spkrs fluctuate between fair and strong. So, I assume somehow I need to improve the SL spkr connection. I cannot move the cable box downstairs. I read something about the Sonos boost which I guess is not available anymore. But this made me wonder if I could use a linksys ea6100 router that I’m not using - connect to my cable box then somehow connect al

New Sonos App is dog turd!! The last one wasn't great tbh but this is a whole new level of amateurish!! It seems you have employed a bunch of 8 year olds to create it? I want a refund for false advertising please, as when I researched which speaker to buy for sound, connectivity etc this company name/brand appeared to be the one for me, well it's not!! Shocking in every way except the sound. So I will be getting another speaker from elsewhere. Fix the issues for crying out loud, or even better, don't offer them services if you aren't capable of providing it, thanks.P.s-  the help suggestions given whenever there is an issue always suggests a "Factory Reset" , as if we should have to do that everytime 🤦‍♂️ 

Do the Sonos era 100 mount on the 300 Sonos stand?

Hi, I know I can connect my Bluetooth turntable to my Era 100 pair but is there a way to get the audio from the 100’s to my Arc soundbar?  Thanks for any help. 

After upgrading my Router from T-Mobile, my Play:1 will no longer connect. I split my network now and the Play:1 will not even connect to a WPA2 network. Is this anything more than a doorstop at this point? Will Sonos give me a trade in credit?Diagnostics Sent.  #********.  Waited on phone for 30 minutes.  Now Tech Service wait is 60 mins on phone.  No thanks…Moderator edit: Huge title moved to main body of post. Got new wifi and Want to Connect my sub. I reset it, the light flash white and orange. Then i try to Connect with my app, that goes all good until i have to Press the button on the sub, that it would register and i can’t go no longer, what cand i do? The sub still flash white and orange

I can't downgrade the speaker to S1, unfortunately I have 2 speakers stopping me from moving to S2 so I need to do this downgrade. I installed v16.1 of the app but it prevents me from doing the downgrade and instead forces an update of the app. The wait time on the phone is 60 minutes  (probably due to all the new app issues) and I can't wait that long during open hours....is there a way to do this at all anymore?

I bought my Mom two Era 100’s, set them up with this iPhone App….a rather brutal, 2 hr long process of trail and error. Got everything setup, got her setup with Spotify and taught her how to use the Sonos App to play music, which was her ultimate goal. I left her house relieved and then about 20 minutes later she texted me saying: “The speakers keep mysteriously playing music.”I went back over and she had the Sonos app closed out completely on her iPhone and laptop. I opened the Sonos App and paused the song. ABout 10 minutes later it did it again, just randomly playing music when we don’t want it to?!?! We had to unplug everything and put it back in the boxes. I’m supposed to go back today to “fix it”. What in the world is going on here with these speakers. Why is music playing when she’s not opening an App and selecting what she wants to hear and pressing play. Then when she’s done listening to music she should be able to press stop and be done. Right?! Help me folk, help me!

Going mad at this end.Gear’s been dormant for a year or so and am now trying to set it up again in my new house.As I had the system on the app I connected all gear hoping it would work but it just wanted to update with many failed attempts. Decided to do a new installation so hard reset the bridge, connected ok and did an update so was happy.The added each of the PLAY3’s (reset them too) and all seemed fine initially.  Then found that my ‘old speakers’ still were present in the app and was unable to delete them and the app wanted to continously update them. Started over yet again only to find that the PLAY3’s hooked up on WIFI and not to the bridge. Any suggestions as how to solve this? 

Sonos app says can't find product repeatedly. Doesn't offer any solution

My Sony tv unable to play any sound on the sonos Beam. I have tried changing the HDMI cable, made sure that its connected to ARC. But the new app is not letting me link to the Bravia SYNC I have now reset my whole sonos system consist of 2 sonos one SL, a sub mini and a beam. But the new app is not letting me Link my sonos devices to the app each system gives different error as attached”There was a problem adding your Beam to your system. Try again later.”“Your Sonos One SL has been added, but may not appear in the System tab. If so, unplug the power cord and plug it back in to finish setup from the System tab.”“Sign in as the System Owner The system owner must be logged in.Please log out and have the owner login.”i in-fact am the system owner and the product is registered on my account am i just supposed to wait until sonos fix its app to use my system ???? please help

How do I find and download updates?

I am curious if there is an easy way to use a Sonos Play 3 speaker as an external wired speaker to an older audio device, with no app or networking required….just a simple external speaker?  Thanks. 

I've been a long time user of Sonos speakers (15+ years) and have always used the hub that out when Sonos first started.  I was always under the impression that that hub created a special network for the all of the speakers to connect to to keep WiFi traffic down on your normal WiFi traffic and to make Sonos more reliable.  Fast forward to today when I've upgrade all of my speakers to the new Fives. I purchased the Boost to help with my system. I do have one Sonos Play 1 still in use in the house.  I notice that it seems like my speakers are connected directly to my WiFi and not the Boost as I can see them on my routers device page.  Is this Boost even needed any longer as nothing seems to be connected to it.
