How do you fire the CEO that let this App issue happen?

To my knowledge, traditionally, the Board of Directors hire and fire CEOs. Those boards consist of people appointed by or are part of shareholders. I don’t recall a case where a CEO has been fired by end users.
If this Board does not fire this CEO - they should be Fired ! Stock price is now reflecting the failures of leadership and shareholders should file a class action suit against the Board and Management !!
