Two sonos SL Ones, one sub gen 3 and an arc was bought in the UAE. I told them that I will be taking the components to Iran and the sales team practically encouraged me to go for it.
Now it appears that without a VPN on, I can't get the diabolical Sonos app to open and of course, now I know that with a VPN on, the app itself will upload but that's about it: it's impossible to add any components.
After spending almost 4 hours with tech support they casually told me that they don't support Iran.
That makes Sonos a bunch of crooks in my book. You can't be telling your sales teams in the UAE to flog off your useless systems to unsuspecting customers bound for Iran and then tell the same customers that the products are not supported there.
I expect Sonos to either provide me with a full refund or to come up with a solution to fix this issue.
This is NOT acceptable.
