Our Wifi system was updated to a DreamCatcher and now Sonos speakers won’t connect. I’ve been told Factory Reset. Is this the correct option?

Just to let everyone know, the factory reset took about an hour, but the system is now working fine. Thanks for everyone’s comments. Technology is not my strength so I appreciate everyone’s advice.
