So I upgraded my setup from two 100’s to the full set of arc ultra, two 300’s and a sub gen 4. tv audio is amazing. Huge booms and the arc is astonishing compared to what we had before. however when playing vinyl (connected with cable to the 100), the audio just feels flat. Adjusting the eq or level of bass on sub feels like it barely makes a difference. Have moved the sub around as well but it doesn’t change a lot. I had the 100’s with record player before, but the sound just seams to expand to the whole room when I select the surround system as well as the 100’s, rather than giving me more bass, more surround and a deeper level of the music. is it because I have the surround set connected wirelessly to the 100’s that are set up for the record player? Or also I have a small pre amp that’s pretty basic, just to get the job done. Is that something that’s causing this?
How to turn on mic
I have a Sonos One and recently upgraded to a TP-Link_278 router. When I tap Update network in the Sonos app, it says Update the network settings for your products so they can connect to you wifi. Result is “unable to update these products, to add to network factory reset them. Tap continue and it says Unable to update, factory reset. I do that and get the green flashing light that the instructions call for, but when I then tap the Update network setting I get the same result (Unable to update).
Hi there,Our Amazon Firestick is controlling the Sonos Beam2 Soundbar and TV which is great but we cannot see the physical volume number when we adjust the volume.ie, cannot see a number such as 10, 11, 12 etc. line we do with our other TV’s with soundbars and Firestick connected. I feel like we have tried everything with no luck.Anyone else have this issue?
I’ve just finished work on a new house and could use some advice on placing speakers. I’ve got an Arc Ultra for video, and that’s more than adequate for our TV needs, so I don’t need to connect anything more to it. But for music, I want more – both for casual listening throughout the combined kitchen, dining room and living room, and for somewhat more focused listening (or at least the best and loudest sound) in the kitchen itself. My working assumption has been six Era 100s mounted high on the walls, plus a sub, as shown below. But is this optimal? Should I be going in a different direction? Thank you!
I had a very strange Sonos problem today, but it now seems to be fixed. Today I received an Era 100, which I was adding to a system consisting of four older Sonos speakers in different room. I installed the Era 100 and it was able to play from streaming sources but could not play material from my music library, which is contained on a USB memory stick plugged into my router.Interestingly, I could get the Era 100 to play material from the music library by grouping it with any of the other speakers in the system if I initiated the playback from the other speaker. I called Sonos about the problem and spent a long time on the phone with a technician. He ultimately escalated the issue to Level 2 Support. The Level 2 technician revealed that the problem has been around since November 2024 and affects not only the Era 100 but also the Era 300 and some other recent speakers. The original technician stated that there was a potential solution that he could implement by remotely logging into my c
In my entertainment room for music listening only, I have across the length of the large room:One end - 1 x Era 300 + Sub miniOpposite end - 2x Era 300s + Sub Gen 3I used to have the 2 eras paired in stereo with the Sub Gen 3, but recently I’ve been playing around with the system.i unpaired all to run as individual units, then paired the sub mini with the one era 300 and on the other side I paired one era 300 with the Sub Gen 3.so technically I have 3 rooms grouped:era 300 + sub miniera 300 + sub Gen 3era 300NB. I have not run trueplay as yet.i noticed when playing the group, the Sub Gen 3 bass cuts out, but not the sub mini. If I turn the sub mini off, the sub Gen 3 kicks in in play.any idea why this happens? Thanks,V
Hi can anyone help I’m struggling to connect my Sonos play 5 to my new router (wireless) . I can connect through Ethernet but than can’t move my speaker around the house ? Many thanks
Hi everyone,I’m interested to set up a basic wireless speaker system in a small apartment—mainly for podcasts. I’ve heard about Sonos and I’m curious what a good starting setup might look like for a smaller space.Would one or two speakers be enough to get a rich sound? Are there specific models that work better in tight rooms or near walls? I’m also wondering how well they integrate with streaming apps and voice assistants.Would love to hear your recommendations or lessons learned from your own setups! Thanks!
Hello everyone,I've been experiencing an error on my system for a few weeks now. The error is called error 1.066. I don't know how to fix it.
Trying to create a Sonos account fails saying check Internet connection
i have a bat cave or den and have two fives and a mini sub ....can u add a sonos beam or ray by using the sonons 5 as tweeters...giving me two sonos 5s as tweeters a mini sub and a mini sub all integrated and not grouped is this possible
I just got 3 era 100 speakers. Returning to Sonos after a few years away. I remember trueplay tones being quite loud on previous speakers. But on the era 100s it’s pretty quiet. Then I noticed that whatever I set the volume to on the speakers before trueplay is what the tones would play at. That’s not normal right? I’m not touching the volume after initiating the trueplay process. It’s not same for both quick and advanced trueplay, quick is louder. what is the volume setting equivalent for trueplay so that I can be sure it runs at the correct volume? thanks
HelloOne of my two SL1 speakers will not connect to my home network via WiFi.Things I have tried.Disconnect Speaker from power 2+ minutes. Disconnect speaker and router then power router back up and then speaker back up Disconnected all my Sonos products in the room as it was the whole room setup w/multiple other Sonos products Step 2 again but with all Sonos products included in the set up Also did all this based on the app T.S. Instructions In the app I removed said speakers from current set up and then tried adding them back oh and did all this multiple times as well
SONOS Play:5 is connected to the router with ethernet cable but randomly ‘disappears’ from the SONOS app. At this point the router network map says ‘no product connected by ethernet’. Have changed the ethernet cable but with no improvement. All other SONOS products working OK with wifi or ethernet,
The beam does not turn on , is not working g with Alexa , and does not show up on Sonos app as being connected to the system anymore

Min symfonisk tappar nätverkt från google nest pro.Jag måste reset varje gång jag ska använda den?Har kollat att jag ligger på 2,4 ghz på mobilen men sonos appen säger att det inte finns nått system. Nån som har några idéer?
I have some first gen Sonos - play:1 and 3, playbar, sub, and an SL. They were all working well together for years, using the Sonos app on my iPhone, iPad and Mac. but recently it’s been glitchy and today suddenly it decides not to work. Only the SL could be set up and is found on the app. What can I do? Has Sonos decided not to support first gen speakers? Thanks.
Just done a factory reset on Sonos 1 and I’m presuming I cannot get my old music back?? thanks
Can I add another speaker to my system, I have 1 Arc 2 Era 300 and 2 Sub 4s.
I recently purchased a beam, sub, and two fives from a friend who is moving. I don’t have the fives yet, but also purchased a play:3, play:1, and 1SL from a used market place. I connected the beam to my TV via HDMI, and the sub connected fairly easy. I then got the play:3 hooked up as a third speaker after some trial and error. I was planning to put the one SL and the play:1 in my kitchen so we could have the audio when we walk in there to grab something. It worked ok at first, but now the speakers in the kitchen have created their own “system” I have to switch to, separate from the devices in the living room playing from the TV. I would love to never the systems, and have tried to factory reset them, but the connectivity is extremely inconsistent, usually only pairing to the kitchen or the living room. I have a WiFi extender in the kitchen I’m afraid may be creating some kind of separation. I’m not sure what to do. When I get the pair of fives, I will set them as a stereo pair in the
