Hey all,
Have had Sonos since many years, and with mix of first and second generation products, ie 1,3,5 and soundbar w subwoofer. Actually still installed the booster

Navigating and selecting music with various Apple products, from iPhone 11 Max, through iPad to the newest iMac.

Since the January SOnos update, I still face problems with very slow response when anting to change, and the very annoying issue, that sometimes some of the SOnos component aren’t available for selection. Actually sometime not in 1 Apple products (iPhone), but then selectable on the iPad.

I want to start this conversation towards Apple use of SOnos, with older a newer Apple products to older and newer Sonos products.
Any guidance ? Any learnings?
Looking very much forward to your comments. Thanks

Boost or Bridge?

S1 or S2 app?

I lean towards wifi interference as a likely suspect. If a Bridge it may be failing.

At the least, perform a network refresh. Power off all Sonos devices, then reboot your router. Wait two minutes, then power back on your Sonos devices.

Agreed that using a Sonos BRIDGE at this point is troublesome, I’d either wire a speaker directly, or move to WiFi only.

Thanks both. I am curious on the “move to wifi only”. I assume I need the bridge when I have S1 products. Would appreciate response to my statement. If I can somehow remove Bridge then fine foe me. Will try the shut-down all thing. Thanks again

No, neither the BRIDGE nor BOOST are needed anymore. In fact, it’s highly recommended to remove any BRIDGE in use, their power supplies are known to go bad and cause extremely difficult to track issues.
