I’ve experienced a lot of signal dropout this week. I’ve successfully rebooted the router, one Play3 and soundbar, and updated the app. But one Play 3 is stuck: Play/Pause button flashes green, if I press it I get an alert jingle, then flashing dark amber light, and the system doesn’t recognise the speaker. I’ve tried both rebooting and resetting - what do I try next? Many thanks for any advice
Hi, I went on my phone and went on to the Sonos App , i went down to click T Bedroom and it wasn't there. It completely has disappeared and I can't listen to my music through Sonos. It has always worked as I always listen to music in my room. Do you know how I add my room back in? What is the problem?
I purchased two Sonos One speakers and like any relatively new Sonos product, they are an absolute nightmare. It took about 90 minutes to get the first one to connect. The original connection attempt failed. There is no way to reattempt a failed connection. The message on the App is that the speaker is already set up....but it is not.
My play 5 will not pair. It will flash green but when I try and pair it the light goes to orange and it will not pair. If overheating it is not due to conditions and it has never overheated before. Sits on an open table temp controlled room.
Hi, This clearly seems to be a common problem with sonos systems. My system keeps dropping connection regularly, especially with the radio. I have reset my router, updated my software but to no avail. There seems from other threads that there are several different reasons for this happening. Has anyone got any suggestions where to even start? All help gratefully received
I have 6 sonos:1 and a sonos:3. Suddenly one of the sonos:1's is no longer on my list as a speaker on desktop app or phone. Has a solid white light. When I unplug and wait 30 mins and plug back in, still solid white light. I tried the factory reset by holding the "play/pause" button while plugging in the speaker, but still just have a solid white light. What is the solution? Why wont it factory reset?
I recently purchased two Sonos One speakers. They are both in the same in the same group in my family room. At first they both worked fine. After about a day, one of the speakers disconnected and Alexa said "I'm having trouble understanding right now". In the Sonos app under room settings, I saw "Family Room (L+?)". I unplugged both speakers and plugged them back in and they both worked fine again. Some more time passed and the same speaker disconnected again. This time I rebooted my router and unplugged the speakers. Afterwards, all was good for a couple days. However, I've gone through this same cycle several times now and continue to have a problem with the speaker disconnecting. Does anyone have any thoughts on what the problem may be?
Today while playing TuneIn my 2 grouped play 1 turned on the Green led. From the app music is still playing, but no sound from the speakers. Diagnostic 8495193
I can't play all my songs an error says "An error occurred while adding songs to the queue (701)" How do i fix it?
my Sonos has some troubles lately. 3x Sonos 1 and 1 Sonos 5. Music takes some time to load, plays for 2-3 seconds and that waiting for about 5 seconds and then continues. WiFi in my network seems ok, 3 UniFi access points throught the house all wired to the router. What could be the problem? I sent in a diagnosis to Sonos: number 947289968 Anyone have suggestions?
Hi, I have 9 speakers throughout my house, but I primarily listen to three of them grouped together in one open area of the house. It is a PlayBar, Play:5 and a Play:3. The last week or two I have noticed them getting out of sync...it seems to be primarily between the Play:5 and the Play:3. I have made sure everything is updated. If I break up the group and then regroup them, it solves the problem. But within an hour or two, it seems to happen again. I submitted a disagnostic this morning just a few minutes after it happened: No. 1605026303 Thanks in advance!
Hey folks, Pretty sure I've tried everything here but thought I'd give it a whirl. I've owned a Play 5 and Playbar (both in separate rooms) for about 6 weeks. They've worked perfectly wirelessly and been great. Yesterday my Play 5 stopped showing up on the network and isn't working on the wireless network. These are the things I've tried: - Moving closer to the router - Nothing - Setting up again through different controllers - Nothing - Resetting the Play 5 and set up wirelessly - Nothing - Resetting the Play 5 and setting up using the Ethernet - works, but when you try to set it up on the wireless (1 ft from the router - Nothing) - Tried resetting my router - nothing It's also worth noting that the entire time my playbar works across the wireless with no problem at all. Is it just that my Play 5 wireless needs to be returned? Thanks, Alf
I recently had to upgrade my modem and wireless router and also updated my wifi name & password. I have the Sonos bridge connected to the router, and 6 Sonos One speakers situated around the house. I have watched the reset/setup video (that only showcases the new Sonos Connect). I have reset the Bridge and speakers multiple times but cannot get the system to work anymore. It worked fine with old setup. What am i doing wrong???
My sonos system has stopped connecting to my fully functional wifi system. It will not recognize the network. I have been using sonos speakers for several years without incident. Before I go through the process of setting up each individual speaker (6 in total) I wanted to know if there is a current Sonos issue or is there something I'm overlooking. I've done all of the wifi network basics resetting steps. Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
My sonos one is not connecting to my network. I have tried connecting it directly to my router as well to fix the issue, without success. I have two other play one's and a playbase, which are connected to my wireless network without issues. Can I solely reset the troubled play one, or do I need to factory reset all my Sonos speakers? Or is there troubleshooting technique I can use to fix the troubled play one. Thanks!
G'day This is my first post on the Sonos forum.... Have had my Sonos system up and running perfect at home for about a year now (Sonos Bridge + Sonos5 + Sonos Play1) and have been loving every note of music form this fantastic system. Thing is, a friend of mine has asked me to bring it to his 49th birthday party tonight. (he also loves the system and is considering getting a Sonos system for his place) . To set it up at his place, I will have to take the components from my place, to his place, and then instal it on his wifi network. So I guess I'm asking is it safe to just disconnect/unplug the Sonos Bridge from my Windows 7 desktop computer then simply instal it on his wifi network as a normal new setup? System will be controlled using the Sonos Controller App on my iPhone5. I will of course also have to connect my phone to his wifi network. This will only be a 1 night setup at his place then it will need to be reinstalled back on my own home wifi network the next day. Besid
Sonos ONE set up, flashing orange light. Unable to connect to WiFi wirelessly sitting literally next to the router or even when using ethernet cable. Light flashes green until it tries to connect to WiFi, then flashes orange. After a few seconds of not trying anything it flashes green again but will still not connect to WiFi. This ONE is brand new and has never been connected before. Not sure if it's a hardware issue or what is going on.
Hi, I’m currently living in a houseshare. I have a Sonos one and my housemate has also bought a one. We’re having an issue with two Sonos accounts on one WiFi network. My app has automatically signed into his account and it’s trying to add my speaker to his account. Is it possible to have two separate Sonos accounts on the same network?
Hello Wondered if anyone can help. I've had my play 5 for about 8 months and it's worked fine. All of a sudden it disappeared from the rooms in the app and I can't connect it back. I can get it working by plugging in an ethernet cable but can't get it to connect wirelessly. My other Sonos speakers are still connected. I've tried resetting it, connecting it again as a new room but I just get the solid white light all the time. Any ideas? Thanks
The volume keeps lowering on its own
I'm in the UK and have recently upgraded to BT Fibre Optic Broadband. I have bought a Sonos Bridge (to go mear the router/modem) and a Sonos 5 for my bedroom. It just doesn't work! Neither the Bridge nor the Sonos 5 will connect. When I try to pair them with the Connector (either on my Mac or on my iPhone), the 2 minutes expires without success. I have rebooted the router and modem, and the Bridge and Sonos 5 and it makes no difference. It feels like £350 wasted. Can anybody please help? Thank you
My sonos play 3 was working fine (about 2 months old). 2 days ago it stopped. the light is flashing green. I've tried switching power on and off. I've re-set my wifi router but still not working. the sonos controller on my PC is not detecting it. any idea as to what I should do? thanks in advance. Simon
When I try to set up my Sonos, it says to connect to a wireless network called SONOS. I do not see this appear in the list of available networks. I've set up this Sonos before and it worked fine, all of a sudden it stopped working so I reset everything and tried to re-install and am running into this issue. Not sure what happened to make the Sonos stop working but now I can't re-install. Any information would be great.
Hi all, I'm getting one or two drops from some of my SONOS speakers which are the furthest from my router. I currently use seven SONOS speakers, they are all on the quietest channel so now I would like to move them all to use SONOSNET. I realise I have to wire one speaker to start this process but have no idea how I move the remaining speakers. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
Guys, I have an event tonight and would like to use a microphone and have the sound output from my Sonos speakers. Two questions: (1) Do I have a special type of mic (2) How do I connect mic to the Sonos system I currently have a play bar, sub, 2 Play 1s and 1 Play 5. I also have two regular plug in microphones... Help! - Julius
