Hello!I've reset all of my speakers due to intermittent connectivity issues.3 of 6 speakers won't connect to Sonos 1 app - Play 5 and 2, Play 1s.Each speaker plays the chime and each speaker flashes orange.Suggestions of how to resolve this would be very welcome.Thank you
I recently bought 2 Sonos One SLs. I was able to set the system up and my phone was able to connect to them. However, every subsequent time I try to open the app it continues to load and then has me go through the whole setup process again. I am on the same WIFI network so do not understand why it does not connect automatically. It takes about 10 minutes to go through the connect process of finding the speakers, reentering the WIFI password, etc. I have deleted the app and then reinstalled it several times. I have gone through this process several times and it is making me rethink the purchase. My wife does not have the same issue and is able to connect automatically. Given the price, it is extremely frustrating that these speakers do not connect automatically to the app when I open it.
Something is occasionally blocking my Wifi which only seems to happen when I play my music through my two Sonos One SL speakers. Has this already been reported?
One of the most useless and terrible system i have ever bought.Sinds day one it had been a struggle to connect this pice of crap to my network. Some day's it connect with no problem en most of the time it won't. Sonos S1 can't find any of my devices and Sonos 2s finds them but say's they are incompatible. Terrible and a wast of money!
Wondering how to switch my Sonos Roam to a different wifi network while it can still pick up the original wifi signal which the other 4 permanent speakers use. I don't wish the Roam to be part of a speaker network, but to remain independent. Currently it's set up in the bedroom and is linked to the other house speakers. Problem is that the wifi signal is too weak in the bedroom and the signal keeps dropping out. I know want it to work independently on through the wifi from a wifi extender plugged into a socket just outside the bedroom. Would appreciate any help. Thanks.
I’m trying to include my new Sonos Roam into an Alexa speaker group made up of an Echo, Echo Dot, Echo Flex, Echo Show and Echo Input, on the Alexa app. They are being labeled as incompatible devices. Is this correct?
After last update, I had to reconfigure roam and play1. Roams works properly, play1 became unstable. All via wifi, both located in the same place respect router. Why?The app works very bad, all the time is looking for the wifiHelp, please
My Sonos Beam Gen1 is connected to my TV by HDMI and to my PC and when I'm not showing / playing anything for a few min the volume turns to the lowest and requires my to manually raise it back up. I did disconnect the Sonos and the issue is gone. Any suggestions? Moderator edit - changed all instances of One/1 to Beam Gen 1
Hello:I would like to upgrade my beam 2 by buying 2 one sl.The sofa is attached to the back wall and the right wall. There is no space between the sofa and the wall. With this placement, is it possible to add the two speakers? I understand that the speakers must be placed behind the sofa at a certain distance. Maybe it would be better to invest in a mini sub in front instead of the 2 one sl to improve the sound system? The room measures 4x3 metresthanks
Hi someone knows if the sonos five can read a Vynile ?I’ve got a Rega planar 1 with project Pré AMP.I plug RCA to mini jack behind my platine and nothing ..It doesn’t works
Hello, the charging base does not charge the Move. It has no signs of deformation, the contacts touch the two rear plates. It can only be recharged via the rear USB. Is there some trick to put in place or do I need to get assistance to intervene? Thanks to whoever will answer Pietro Ferrato
I have 3 devices (sonos one), when speakers paired (stereo) the sound is perfect, but when one of these speaker is nos paired the sound change very dramaticly and not same quality at all than the 2 others. The configurations are all the same for the EQ. Do you have any solution?
Hey sound gurus.Bought a play 1 for my father in law. He is trying to use it in the garage , which is about 10 metres away from the router. He has a play 3, and a playbar already working with rhe S2 app. He got the new play 1 working fine with the others indoors. Soon as he plugged in the play 1 in the garage it wouldn't log onto the network. I know this is through 2 walls. But I'm quite surprised. Is it worth investing in a boost. And moving the boost closer to the outside wall that faces the garage? Any tips . I want to avoid range extenders
So I’ve got loads of Sonos all over a large house with WiFi extenders and it doesn’t work. I also have to have my Broadband from a local supplier as they have to beam it over fields etc. so unhappy with all my Sonos at the moment
We have been using our SONOS system for years and have not faced any issues - over the last weeks it happens more and more that songs stop playing after 2-5secs. only via the sonos app though. it works fine streaming to chromecast over the same network and play via the same soundbar… network speed is fine, all other apps work.submitted a diag file also:Your confirmation number is: 2120948714. where it happened multiple times within the last 10mins.anything to further debug? anything you can help me with? this was never an issue before but my whole system becomes unusable as i can do this Chromecast workaround only in the Living room - not in all other rooms…
Hello!I have 10 Sonos speakers spread across my less than 1000 SQ ft one level house. I have a beam gen 2, sub, five, and two Symfonisk picture frames in the living room all grouped together. I have 2 one sls in the kitchen with another picture frame. And a picture frame and a one SL in the bathroom. I have plaster walls with metal mesh. I am using sonosnet and audio drops on some of the speakers farthest from my beam gen 2 (my wife's speaker for sonosnet). I also have a sub gen 3 and a five hardwired with Ethernet but have WiFi disabled to avoid any loops. My house 2.4ghz wifi is on channel 1 and my sonosnet is on channel 11. My audio drops on random speakers mainly when I force an action (like click next, or when I click pause not all the speakers will stop immediately) some times for 20+ seconds. Sometimes audio drops mid song without me touching anything on the farthest speakers and then comes back on. I am playing Spotify at 320kbps. I ran a network matrix but everything is green
I just bought the Sonos Port to connect with my turntable, so I can play on Sonos Move. After much trouble I finally got it to work yesterday. I tried to do exactly the same thing as I did yesterday - pick Sonos Move in rooms and then select line-in as music source - but it’s not working. No sound. I doesn’t even work when I plug my computer into Port - no sound. In the app I can see that an external source is connected and that it’s playing. I’ve checked all sound levels, but no sound. Except for one time yesterday (so I know that it’s possible!). Somebody able to help? I guess my problem could be some kind of small stupid thing within the app…
This system is very, very, very unstable. I am tired and disappointed in this system. I have spent thousands of dollars on this system and have had it for years and I am tired of the inconsistency. There are times when the system works well for an extended period of time an then out the blue, it starts the madness. Music skips, some speakers turn off and back on out of the blue. The system is unable to maintain communication with the music apps. The app is complicated when it comes to troubleshooting but the speakers look good. With all this and more going on, NO help from Sonos. No live agent or associate to speak with or ask for help. How are folks suppose to use and/or troubleshoot a system without help? Smh. I know and I have read that people are having the same problem. This is totally unacceptable especially after all the money myself and many others pay for this. I don’t know if I am more hurt or more angry right now. I had wired speakers before these and my system was consist
HiI have bought Sonos Arc. If I want to add external ( from other vendor) wireless speaker with Sonos environment , is it possible ?If yes , then for example I hav ˋ UE Boom 2 ´ wireless speaker and could please suggest how I can add this ?thanks
Hi there, I am kind of over Sonos at this point. We have had a Play 3 for about 10 years and my wife has been having connection issues forever basically. We decided to buy a 2nd hand Play 5 Gen 2 this week from CEX. Go to connect it and the Play 5 cannot be foundWe…. Factory reset → orange / white lights flashing Play 5 - nothing Power on/off a billion times. reset router - nothing plugged Play 5 into network wired. turned off old Play 3 - keeping Play 5 wired. keeps trying to find Play 3, and indeed seems to find it despite being off. Maybe by MAC address without power? wired Play 3 and Play 5 - nothing ended up with Play 3 connected via wired and needed to faff about to get it back.checked bluetooth, it’s on. Phone is right next to Play 5, it can’t find it.I am just beyond understanding where to go next. Any ideas? At what point is the product just faulty and I’m no longer being an idiot. Many thanks.RobL
Volendo una coppia stereo è meglio 2 Sonos one oppure 1 Sonos one e una Sonos SL.
I can connect my move to wifi and my iphone says connected by bluetooth. However the little share button icon is greyed out (unlike my sonos speakers for house and outside). When i click on move it just takes me through tour every time
Hello everyone. It's New Year's Eve 2022 here in the UK and we're enjoying music videos on the YouTube app on our Samsung Smart TV with the audio playing through our brand-new, and really excellent, Sonos Beam. It's raining heavily outside, but we're drinking red wine indoors and waiting for Chinese food to arrive. Our plan is to roll-out Sonos speakers in every room soon, so we'd like to know if we'll be able to enjoy the audio from YouTube (and other TV apps) on all those speakers - when we have them. We subscribe to YouTube Premium, if that's relevant at all. But we think, generally, it would be quite cool to do this. Perhaps to still hear the movie audio in the kitchen when we pop to the fridge for a drink - or to the loo! Or to still hear the YouTube music videos playing on the TV in the living room, while taking a bath in the bathroom. Some advice on this from Sonos experts would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, in advance, and we hope you have a wonderful 2023!Brett & Izzy
