So my company uses Sonos in the office, we started with 2 Sonos One’s, they worked fine together once we synced them together. The issue came about two weeks ago when we got the Beam, amazing speaker..when you only want to listen on that. The whole system won’t play music on all three, that includes having them all on ethernet, all on wifi, factory resetting, nothing has worked. I thought it was a Gen 1 vs Gen 2 issue with the old Sonos Ones and the new Beam, so we ordered 2 Era 100’s to even try syncing with just the beam. Still to no avail, only two speakers will play at a time. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi, Is it possible to use the new SONOS Era 100 or Era 300 speakers as audio output for a Mac, using only a direct USB-C to USB-C cable, without the SONOS audio adapter, selecting the necessary audio output in System Settings.Should this work?
I’m trying to create a studio pair between Play:five gen 2 and a Sonos five. When I select either speaker and then select create studio pair none of my Sonos speakers show up as an option for pairing. I also have a Move, a Play: three and a Sonos one. None of these show up for pairing when I select any of them to set up a studio pair yet they are all on the same Wi-Fi net work. Any ideas? All are operated through the Sonos 2 app.
Am I able to pair the Arc, Move, and roam together as one to play TV or music together? Whenever I try to select them as a group I get a “unable to save group” message.
Hi allSo I have a children’s party on the weekend, in a nearby hall. I’ve got a Sonos Roam and several Sonos Ones at home.Last year when I attempted to use one of the Sonos Ones in a similar situation it didn’t work, and had to resort to the Sonos Roam, which is probably big enough for the space.i am looking for some advice on what to do, I think the cheapest thing would be to take one of the Sonos One speakers to the hall and use that. However I’m not sure if there is wifi.I assume if there was no wifi this would be not usable? If there was Wifi could I use one of the Sonos One’s?I am extremely tempted to use this opportunity to buy another speaker. If I were to get and Era 100, set it up at home, could I then use it as a Bluetooth speaker at this other location? Is the main benefit of a Move the battery?thanks!
Hi, I have become really exasperated with trying to connect my new Ray to a Sony TV. In regards to this problem, I have tried everything. Resetting both, disconnecting, a new optical cable, I am now at my wits end! Both live in my holiday home. However, my Ray will play Spotify with no problem and very good it is too! Almost as good as my Move….Can someone help? TV model is in the title. The Ray was purchased as the TV speakers are not the best….My Sonos playbar I have at home is brilliant. regards,Chris Berrisford
if I have 5 play 1’s no voice activation can i purchase 1 voice activated Play 1 to control the 5?
I was so excited to receive my Sonos Era 300 yesterday. Everything sounded great at first. But last night I was going to fall asleep to some music like I sometimes do and I noticed a static pop sound. It’s like listening to your music while someone is slowly closing a bag of chips. I tried everything. Unplugged, reset, tried playing through both the Sonos and Apple Music app and it still did it. Anyone else notice this issue?I’m hoping it’s a software issue, but I’m not waiting to see if it is
Hello, i have problem with my Symfonisk Frame speakers. I have Apple TV 4K, in front Symfonisk Frames in stereo mode and rear two homepods. While i play something on TV, sound goes only from rear homepods. So i must stop playing and continue, sound goes from front speakers with rear homepods. In Apple Tv have set all speakers on, i was trying change channel of 5 Ghz wifi on my router, but this not changing. It doesn't happen to you all the time, but about every third boot the front speakers have no sound. Just stop the playback and start it again, the sound on the front speakers will start. Any idea, where is the problem? Thank you.
When you use two Era 100’s in a stereo pair, do all 4 tweeters still work, or do they switch off the inner facing ones and send stereo to use just the outside tweeters please?
I’m having issues connecting my Project Primary E (Phono) to my Sonos Era 100,I have the Sonos USB-C to 3.5 Line in Adaptor and my Turntable came with a RCA to 3.5 cord.Everything connects and plays on the Sonos Era 100 but there is a loud buzzing sound which I think is a grounding issue? How can I fix a grounding issue where there is no option for grounding on the Sonos Era 100?Am I missing a piece of equipment like an Amp? I thought i didn’t need one because my turntable has a phono pre-amp inbuilt and them the Sonos Era 100 already has line in connection?Help!
The power cord on the back of Sonos Five is broken. Can i purchase a new power cord?
I have a great Sonos system built for music across my house. 2 current gen Five’s and 2 Era 300’s. I know I can line-in a CD player into one of the Five’s. Can I then connect them like normal and have the line-in streamed around the house like I do with my streaming services?
I’m unable to find upgrade section in my profile. Is it because my country setting is india?
Can I add sub gen 3 to arc+2 eras 300 and still DOLBY ATMOS?

Hi community,I recently purchased the Five, which works and sounds great however I purchased the Five in order to connect my old 1980s record player together with my vintage amplifier but I can’t get any sound 😥 I think it’s best to show you a pic of the options I have in order to connect the line in (I bought 3.5mm jack to 2 RCA cable). Looking at the picture provided, where do I plug it into? I’ve tried everything except for the speaker component as the RCA doesn’t fit it. Please help as it’s been a days of days of trying with no sound. I’ve also tried all the Source levels in the Sonos app to see if that’s causing the issue, but that doesn’t seem to fix it. I have a mix of old and new Sonos components in my house running S1: 2xPlay:5 (gen2), a Play:5 (gen 1), Connect:Amp and a few more. It happened twice that our kids or their friends see the Sonos prompt to upgrade to S2, and initiate the process without asking. They maybe think they're doing us a favor. The first time we managed to downgrade all devices to S1. The second time not. One of the Play:5 gen 2 speakers refuses to downgrade.I’m using the S2 app and follow all the instructions (reset/reinstall S2 app, reset speaker, etc.). The app finds the speaker and eventually starts the downgrade process. It shows a downgrading progress bar for about 3 minutes and then finally a message that it was unable to downgrade the speaker. No details about the error.I’ve tried this multiple times, with ethernet and wifi connection, I added the speaker to S2 and then completely removed and reset it. I read other threads on the same topic, but no solution found. I probably spent three whole days in my l
I am wondering if I use my old play 3 that does not have the blue tooth connection and I buy a new one. Will I have the blue tooth capabilities by accessing the one and play the music on all of them from streaming
I lost my internet service and am waiting for the ISP to come out. In the meantime, my neighbor is generously offered to let me connect to his router. I have connected my mobile and a couple of TV’s in my house, but I am having difficulty connecting any of my Sonos products. When I launch the Sonos app, at the top it says “WiFi isn’t connected Learn More”. After tapping on that, it gives me another page with “WiFi isn’t connected AND You need to connect this mobile device to the same network as Sonos”. At the bottom it has an icon indicating “Go to WiFi settings”. After tapping on a WiFi screen pops up showing some of the available networks. The top one is the one my mobile is connected to and it shows “Connected”. I cannot figure out what I’m doing wrong.
I bought an in ground passive subwoofer and would like to connect it to my Amp. I ran 12 AWG wire from the sub to the Amp and then realized it was an RCA connector. Do I need to install anything between the RCA connector and the speaker wire? Or, do I just need to buy an RCA connector?
I am house sitting at the moment and the owner told me I can use their SONOS play1. If AirPlay was compatible with this speaker, I’d be fine but, as it isn’t, I have two questions:Can I log into my own SONOS account and use it with their speaker? How is it possible to log out of their account to log into mine? Would this mess up their system when they return to log in? If option 1 is not possible, can I log into my music service on their account and log out of it when I leave? They use SONOS in their main home - if I logged in, would they have access to my music service? I’m embarrassed of my music choices, so want to stay as private as possible! Thank you.
Last weekend, my Roam, which was about a year old, didn’t power on. Then, a few days later, my Playbar wouldn’t power on. The devices are on the same network, but they’re in completely different parts of the house, plugged into different power outlets, but it just seems like a very strange coincidence and makes me wonder if there’s malware or some other issue on the network. Or...it could just be coincidence.(FWIW, Sonos replaced the Roam already and the new one is working fine so far. They Playbar is out of warranty, but Sonos is trying to make it a little less expensive for me to replace.)
Problem connecting sonos products to wifi..can someone please help
I have successfully connected my Sonos One and Bean Gen2 to my Wifi on 2.4GHz. My mobile phone is connected to the same network wifi on 5GHz. In Sonos app, it shows “Sonos and your mobile device must be on the same network”. Actually they are one the same network but connected by different frequency channel. When I switch my phone to 2.4GHz, Sonos can be found without issue.I tried to connect my Sonos to 5GHz Wifi, and it couldn’t connect. I need my phone connect to 5GHz Wifi for faster connection. Can anyone help? Not sure if Sonos only identifies network by Wifi SSID.And can anyone help to confirm if my products (Sonos One & Bean Gen2) can connect to 5GHz?
