Hello

how much electric power do I need to anticipate, how many ampere is it required to make it work ?

thanks

Not sure what you’re asking, but it runs off a standard 110 volt, 15 amp socket. Or the standard for other countries, too.

About 3 Watts idle power, Sonos doesn’t show an operating power that I can see.

If you’re asking what it draws, that would be a variable, based on the type of music being played.

I’ve been off looking and nowhere can I find a maximum power draw number.

Given the 60 Watt amplifier rating it has to draw at least that much at maximum volume, something hard to reach with music you’d need a tone generator.

Figure 10 or so watts for the electronics and 80% efficiency on the amplifier and you are in the 80-90 Watt region for maximum power draw.

For actual music use the amplifier would likely be using closer to 5 Watts than 60 so the real-world power would be lower than the maximum.

Maybe someone has a Kill-A-Watt type meter and a mini Sub to get you real numbers.
