I have a Sonos system with 5 speakers. 3 of these speakers disappeared from my application and I cannot connect to them.I performed all possible operations correctly, i.e. I reset and returned to factory settings, updated the sonos application, reset the router, During the process of adding a product, a message appears that the speaker has been added but may not be visible in the application. The speaker cannot connect to the Wi-Fi network. The other 2 speakers are visible and working properly. What else can I do ?
Hello, I am an Iphone user of the new sonos app but I can’t modify my alarms settings (desactivate, activate, delete or even create an alarm) while I am connected to my Sonos. Is someone have a solution ?
I have a pair of Sonos One SL and one speaker suddenly stopped working. The lights are not going on, even though there was no power outage and it has been plugged into the same place since purchase. Coincidentally this occurred on the same day as the software upgrade on my iphone.Sadly this happened to me previously with my original One speaker and I replaced it with this one. Why does this equipment suddenly die? Is there a part that can be replaced or a software change that can make it power up again?I should have cut my losses and switched out of this system.
I recently bought sub mini to improve music quality of my stereo play 5s so that it is a perfect 2.1 setup. but disappointed that sub hardly made a difference. Am i missing something or mini is not a good sub. Thanks for your help.
When I change the volume via the app the volume goes up on one side more than the other when I go past 40 and then up on one as I lower volume below 40. Should they not sound equal as I raise or lower the volume?
After moving house my friends managed to get their ONE and 3 x PLAY:1’s connected but the fourth Play:1 is stubbornly resisting being recognised. The light flashes orange but never goes to green and no chimes ring out. Can anyone advise what is going wrong.
We have tried all the suggested fixes. Is there a way to submit a diagnostic report?
Good Day,My neighbor across the street has two Sonos Play:1 speakers. I am not at her house at this time. I am trying to help her get the speakers re-connected. They were playing fine and then she went away for two weeks to bury her husband. Now, she cannot get her speakers to connect to her wifi network (Comcast modem/router combo). I have followed all of the instructions for rebooting the modem, the speakers, resetting the speakers to factory settings, but nothing works. When we plug in one of the speakers the Sonos app sees the speaker and correctly shows the serial number. It then tries to access a temporary network which turns off the wifi...apparently trying to connect via 4G. It gets a no internet connection when doing this. When we try the older app it connects, but then it tells us that the speaker has the more recent firmware and to use the most current app which we do without success. I have followed all of the instruction on the support pages including connecting the speake
Hallo! Gruß Chicoree Moderator edit:Google Translate- Hello!I recently bought a used Sonos Play:3. The speaker was upgraded to S2 at the time. Since I operate my Sonos system via the S1 app or the Sonos Controller, I would like to downgrade the Play:3 back to S1. Can someone help me with this? Unfortunately, I can't find the function for this in the app. But I read that it should actually work.Regards, Chicoree
I have a pair of Fives and Ones and have been using a Sonos Connect for years with them. I had originally bought the Connect as a means to bring in audio from my CD player. I have now gone to streaming only and don’t need that feature. My understanding is that the Connect creates its own network which the speakers connect with.In an effort to reduce clutter, etc I am considering getting rid of the Connect and having all the speakers link directly to my home Wifi network. Is there a down side to this? Am I going to see any performance issue if I do? How best to do this? Thx
Hi, can anyone help please.i had major issues with the new Sonos app and therefore had to spend hours on the phone with Sonos help to reload all the products on my home.it was working for a couple of weeks and now it seems that half of the products have disappeared and joined a separate network in my home on the same Meshed WiFi network and no longer visible on the app.i have managed to join the “other network” on the app and they have reappeared but now the others have been lost.Confused about how to fix this other than factory reset and start all over again which I am hesitant of….Any advice?
Hi - my Play 3 seemed to go through some unannounced update/reset and I am no longer able to find how to turn-off the status lights overnight.
Hi I’m considering purchasing a Sonos Era 300 for listening to music. I’ve watched some YouTube videos, read reviews and am a little confused now whether to go for one Era 300 or get a stereo pair of Era 100s.I am also interested in whether to add a sub mini into the equation as I like bass. The music I mainly listen to is house, drum n bass, and not sure how much is with Dolby Atmos. I currently listen to music via an Amazon Echo speaker (don’t judge) but appreciate good quality sound and want to upgrade my listening experience in my home. The speaker(s) will sit in my open plan living dining and kitchen space approx 40m2, in the living space which is on one side of the open space.I’m open to getting two Era 300s either from the start or adding a second later on. And should I consider the sub mini or wait?i welcome advice on where to start on my Sonos journey. Thank you!
I have a very old play:3. it connects fimne (on bluetooth then its own WIFI ) and all is good until it tries top get a audible PIN - no sound. They asks top press the button (on mine its the Start/stop, on the app its Mute) - no reaction. Tried restarting, factory reset, etc etc.Any help out there?
Hi,Is there any way to check how much warranty left against a serial number? Thanks in Advance.
I just updated the Sonos app and now nothing works. App finds speakers but then loses connection while trying to set up. What do I do? Nothing works
I just got my SONOS ONE and it’s been nothing but a pain. Won’t connect to my iPhone 14 this system is junk and customer service is terrible. I can’t believe this overpriced speaker( which by the way I have 2 of them) will not even connect! I’ve tried everything to no avail so disappointed and frustrated with the customer service the bit is useless and a live response is impossible unless you want to wait 65-95 minutes, yes you heard me right 65 minutes the first time I called 95 the 2 time! It’s completely outrageous!!!
Hiwhy is my old sonos 1 not responding has cast as it use to when I use my phone to increase the volume it takes a good 10 seconds to respond
I recently connected my TV to my Mac with Airplay and ever since that happened, I now have to use Airplay to use my Era 100s, but there is a huge lag in audio playing using that method. But, now when I select using Bluetooth (which worked up till now), I am not getting any audio output. What can I do to resolve this? I have tried “Forget this device” and restarted the pairing, but this doesn’t solve the problem. This is really annoying. I believe the Airplay option was always there even before connecting my TV, but now it’s the only option to play my computer’s audio through the Era 100s, but with a really annoying delay. The other issue is when I switch tabs in my browser, the audio doesn’t play at all and I have to disconnect the Era 100s via Airplay, click on the Era 100s via BT, and then come back to Airplay to get them to play delayed audio. This is terrible. It just worked before I messed with Airplay at all to connect to my TV.
I am trying to add voice control to my Sonos era 100. Even though the microphone button is set to "on", the Sonos app asks me to make sure microphone is on. I also cannot pair my era 100 using Bluetooth.Has anyone encountered this problem?Thank you!
Hello, I have 2 Sonos One SL speakers, Beam and subwoofer. Purchased about 4yrs ago. WiFi connected to Xfinity xFi gateway located on 2nd floor. The xfinity cable box is about 25ft as the crow flies from my SL speakers and 15ft from the Beam with one interior wall between the box and spkrs. The issue I’ve always had is the SL speakers cutout. Usually I unplug and plug back in. This works for a little while. Per the xfinity app showing device connections, the Beam is connected at 2.4Ghz and SL speakers connected at 5Ghz. The xfinity app shows strong connection to spkrs and Beam. The Sonos app shows strong connection to the Beam but the SL spkrs fluctuate between fair and strong. So, I assume somehow I need to improve the SL spkr connection. I cannot move the cable box downstairs. I read something about the Sonos boost which I guess is not available anymore. But this made me wonder if I could use a linksys ea6100 router that I’m not using - connect to my cable box then somehow connect al
New Sonos App is dog turd!! The last one wasn't great tbh but this is a whole new level of amateurish!! It seems you have employed a bunch of 8 year olds to create it? I want a refund for false advertising please, as when I researched which speaker to buy for sound, connectivity etc this company name/brand appeared to be the one for me, well it's not!! Shocking in every way except the sound. So I will be getting another speaker from elsewhere. Fix the issues for crying out loud, or even better, don't offer them services if you aren't capable of providing it, thanks.P.s- the help suggestions given whenever there is an issue always suggests a "Factory Reset" , as if we should have to do that everytime 🤦♂️
Do the Sonos era 100 mount on the 300 Sonos stand?
No identifica dos altavoces Five que quiero instalar en una habitación distinta a la que ya tengo un sistema SONOS con dos altavoces Five, un Sub, y una barra. Moderator Edit: Google Translate- It does not identify two Five speakers that I want to install in a room other than the one I already have a SONOS system with two Five speakers, a Sub, and a bar.
Hi, I know I can connect my Bluetooth turntable to my Era 100 pair but is there a way to get the audio from the 100’s to my Arc soundbar? Thanks for any help.
