when i connect Audible to my sonos system it turns the volume of all affected speakers to max(100)

i have only seen this behavior with audible, Tidal doesn’t seem to experience this issue

That seems odd, to my knowledge none of the streaming services are supposed to change the volume. Although the same can’t be said of Bluetooth or AirPlay 2, both of which respect the volume set on the sending device.

I would recommend that you submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it.

There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.
