//SOLVED// I just picked up 2 new Symfonisk speakers. I have 2x Gen 1 Symfonisk already. My old ones are in Stereo pair. No issues. These new ones will not allow me to pair. I’ve tired this wired (ethernet), wifi disabled. Wifi on, ethernet unplugged, hard reset of the speakers, reset the router. Nothing. The speakers work. Play music, no problem. Tried multiple streams and all ok. But every time I try to create a stereo pair, I this. ISP Distributel - CanadaRouter/Modem - Deco X50 EDIT// After about 2 hrs on the phone trouble shooting this with Lvl2 tech from Sonos, here was the solution. We had to reboot the entire Sonos network in my home, not just the speakers we were using. There was a mismatch with my Home ID. This is internal to Sonos, but was solved with a house-wide reboot. So far so good. Choose the right speaker. Ok!Looks like it may work.Nope!
This app sucks. Sonos sucks. We need to take them to court and make them pay. Let’s get organized. Ideas anyone?
Hi.Im having issues with my Sonos play 3s.When using app it is very slow to respond or the app freezes.sometimes one speaker cuts out.I don't have issues with any other of my sonos speakers.I have tried ethernet cable etc.It is in bedroom and WiFi is fine as I have tested speed.Anybody had same issue?
I have the Sonos App I just downloaded. And trying to set up my Play 1s (I have 2 of them). I’m trying to change the network connection from tethered Ethernet to Wifi. It’s looking for unit that is plugged in and can only find a sound bar looking unit/ equipment. Why the heck does Sonos not just make it default to WiFi after set up? And why is the wifi or Ethernet option so imbedded in the system’s setting? Should just be able to click on the speaker 🔈 on the app and toggle from Wifi to Ethernet. Who the heck is designing the software… user interface sucks! Not intuitive. For now I have one speaker tethered to my router. Sonos is supposed to be wireless? Ain’t that the big ploy? Mission? I’m 2 hours into setting up these old Sonos Play 1s. And still not the perfect outcome. Have factory reset it 3x… of which, why does it take over a minute of holding down the power button to factory reset? I miss the days of the pin 📌 hole and you just pin 📍 to reset.iIf someone ca
My sub is not getting power. No light …. Completely dead. Any service center in London?
I just bought my first Sonos product - the arc ultra. I see Sonos has an upgrade program. Is that exclusively for older products? Just owning the new soundbar, do I not get the upgrade discount? I’m looking to buy a couple of Era 300 speakers as surrounds and hoping I can use this upgrade discount for it. Thanks for the help!
I am unable to download the pdf version of the product guide for the Arc Ultra. The button seems to do nothing. Am I missing something or is ther an ongoing issue with the site?
I have a 50x60 barn style room, 16 ft ceilings. Currently I have 2 fives and 1 sub gen 3. Question is, can I add 2 more fives and a sub 4 to help enhance the quality of the sound. Is it worth the additional expense?
I have an era 300 connected to my TV just below to watch movies but I would like to buy the beam 2 to further improve my sound experience when playing multimedia content. My question is, with just these two speakers will I have good sound quality, taking into account that both would be under the TV pointing at the sofa and thus I will get perfect highs, bass and mids. I don't care so much about getting spatial audio.

Long shot, but has anyone dismantled a Play:1 and turned it into a simple passive speaker fed by the traditional pair of speaker wires i.e. already amplified input?
QUESTION 1:Can the sound quality get worse after adding Sonos Era 300 to the current Sonos system (BEAM GEN 2+SUBMINI+TWO SLS)?QUESTION 2:Although True Play is an excellent feature, the tuning process takes a long time. very little sound also causes disturbance while tuning, Its really embarrassing.QUESTION 3: Could I add two sub minis to existing sonos system.QUESTION 4: Is any Speaker upgrade program in india.
Hi. I have 4 tourist rentals all connected to the same wifi network. I have set up 4 Era 100’s using this network. At the moment, if one guest uses the Era 100 in their rental, the music is also played in the other rental properties. Clearly my other guests do not want to hear each others music! If I disable the wifi on each speaker, can the guests still play music via Bluetooth only? Or is wifi mandatory?
I’ve lost connection with my play and I cannot find it again
Hi, I have a number of Sonos Playbars (5) around the house, several Connect Amps and 1 Sonos Arc but because the Connect Amps are hardly used, I turn the power off to them, especially overnight, but because of this, I’m worried these devices (which aren’t left on all the time, especially the Connect Amps) aren’t being updated with the latest Sonos updates. So, in short, how can I determine if each of my Sonos devices has the latest updates, or otherwise?
Hi, As the title says, my six speakers seem to be playing a different volumes. Some play loud, some play very quiet. Is there a way for me to set them all or to individually adjust the volumes of each speaker? Or perhaps was there something wrong I did during installation? To give context, I have the 6.1 mag system set up across my backyard which runs about 50 ft across. With the connecting sub in the center of that 50 ft.
My Sonos One speaker is trying to access my PC - I had a message from Norton that the device at an IP on my network assigned to the Sonos One was trying to connect to <program> on the PC on UDP port 1900. I unplugged the Sonos One.Any ideas why the Sonos One would try to do this? The PC has never connected to the speaker, and Bluetooth on the PC is turned off.
The latest update has truly messed up my system. The problem I'm experiencing now is that I have a beam and to play ones connected as surround sound. The play ones are connected however no sound comes out of them. When I check the app the enable Wi-Fi and the disabled Wi-Fi selections are grayed out. I'm sure that the play ones need to be enabled but that option has been taken away. How can I get this back. Quickly hopefully!
Hallo friends,I have Sonos Arc and 2 x Sonos Era 300. I live in an attic apartment with a unique angled ceiling and roof windows. I would like to ask for help with setting up the speakers properly, especially the two Sonos 300: In which angle should Eras be positioned? My idea is to align them with the angle of the ceiling, like on the picture. Whats should be the setup in the app? Should I use Trueplay?Kind regards
Long story short, I have a "second system" because the buyer of my old Sonos Roam will not register it. I wrote them and they said they just use it as a bluetooth speaker and will not be registering it (at least they got back to me?). How can I get Sonos to remove it from my account? It's causing issues with playback by confusing the two 'systems'.Please note I've also already contacted them via chat, no success, no help.
I want to move my beam and era speakers from a summer location to a winter location for 6 months and then move them back to the summer location in the spring. If I set them up at the winter location and then return them to the summer location will the system recognize the speakers when they are reconnected?
I have two Era 100’s, a multi disc pioneer CD player, and a Sonos Line-In Adapter. Nothing has been unboxed or plugged in yet. I’m waiting on responses before I begin this. I have working internet and wifi at my house so I don’t mind using it to setup if needed - however - I do not wish to keep the speakers connected in anyway to my internet. I want to use them hard-wired to the cd player. I don’t want to stream or use voice commands or the sonos app etc. I DO want them to be stereo and I am not doing multi-room. I also will not be moving or relocating them. How do I accomplish this?
Hi everybodyI already have 2 Era 100 and i project to by 1 Era 300 (just a reflexion for the moment) my question is this one, I i add an Era 300 in combination of 2 era 100 (which are configured in stereo mode) does the Era 300 can restitue in stereo too. Thx for illuminating my mind 🔉
