play 5 speaker to new sonos 2 app

Play 5 speaker became incompatible with sonos 1 app so updated to sonos 2 app but cant add play 5 speaker to it but it plays play 3 ?

The Play 5 Gen 1 speaker is NOT compatible with the S2 app. It is only compatible with the S1 app. Have you checked for a system update to see if the 5 needs an update?

You can also try to downgrade the other speakers back to the S1 app:

Many thanks for your response pools-3015,managed to get play 5 (main) speaker working on sonos 1 app and play 3 on sonos 2 app so that,ll do me for now.👍
