I use Deezer but I am not in the country where my deezer subscription is purchased. In the deezer app I can change the region to UK and get top tracks, top artists etc for the UK. However the Sonos app gives me top tracks etc from the deezer subscription home (not UK) and there is no way to change the region in Sonos app. My Sonos profiles are set to UK but this makes no difference. Any way to fix the region in Sonos app so I get local playlists. Jezzzz

I have been using SONOS since they started.  Had a 10TB NAS filled with music.   Electrical storm knocked out my NAS, so I got a new one, and populated it with a back up fo my library.  I now point the music library to a static IP address, it performs the scheduled update, but it always stalls with a message that there is NOT enough room for the update.   Do I reinitialize my entire system and try to mount the new NAS again, and if so, how do I do that?

The latest Sonos app for iPhone and iPad. Version 80.18.25. There are still a number of UI communication errors.Instead of descriptions, various placeholders or codes are shown. This only occurs when the iOS/iPadOS system language is set to Polish. When switching the language to English, these errors disappear. Messages are displayed correctly. Attached are examples of the errors.The issues also occur during speaker setup and any changes to the Sonos system settings.    

I created a folder on my Crucial X9 Pro hard drive with my music.  I shared the folder.  I tried to add //hostname/volumes/Crucial X9 Pro/My Music.  hostname obviously is not the name of :-).  Sonos says that the path name is no longer available.  There wasn’t any additional information to help me understand what I have wrong.   I do have file sharing on.  Read Only for everyone.  

Hi,I've got a question about my Sonos Arc Ultra. I've noticed that when I turn off my TV at 11:00 pm, for example, my Arc Ultra is warm in the marked area in the morning. Is this normal? I ask because I understand that when I use my soundbar, it can be warm too. But when my TV is off and I don't play any music, should it stay cool? Thanks in advance for your help.   

This issue has re-appeared after being resolved for quite some time.  That is, it was bad, then it got better for many months, and now it is back.  Perhaps something in the new updates?

Hi,I am using the Android Sonos App version 80.16.32. If I am playing a podcast and I want to add another podcast to the end of the queue then it fails with the message “Unable to add to queue”. This works OK from the Sonos App on my iPad. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app but it doesn’t help. Can I do anything to fix this? Thanks  

Spotify recently introduced Spotify Basic Family. It has the same features as Premium, but without the use of e-books and it is cheaper. Does this Spotify Basic Family plan work with Sonos?

ahhh … hours spent with the ridiculous system.  After being unable to update the wifi, I finally got the Boost to be recognised only to get the “sign in as the system owner” message.  I am signed in.  On the app and on the PC. where else am I supposed to sign in?  Please let me know where I can sell Sonos equipment  I am done with this.

I am reluctantly using the new app and have issues trying to control my tv sound system on the app. Every time I open the app the system is not recognised. So I have to switch the speakers off and then back on again - then it is recognised and I can control it.whats going on? It’s very frustrating.thanks 

Hello. I have set up my music library connecting it to a file, on my hardrive, with all my music and this has always worked, however, I have had to move my music to a different hardrive and now Sonos is picking up every single mp3-mp4 file on my hardrive (not just the files in my music folder). How can I fix this? Thanks

I have a Ray soundbar I use for TV and to stream music from Spotify. I prefer very much to use Spotify Connect from the app than the Sonos app, which is rather limited.I have set up Ray correctly, I can:Hear TV Stream from the Sonos app Stream from Spotify Stream from iPhone’s AirPlayBut after a while without using the speaker, Ray disappears from Spotify Connect, only sometimes it remains visible as an AirPlay destination (it remains available for the Sonos app though). The only way to get it visible in every system is to start over again from the Sonos app: Settings > Network > Manage networks > Update networks, as if the speaker was brand new.Is there a way to avoid that behavior? In another house I have a system with a One and a Play:1 that works consistently and it’s always available, that’s what I look forward to achieve...

Earlier topics show a Sonos power option to keep Sonos active and keep the PC from sleeping.  I don’t find that option under Settings>System>Power & battery.  Can this feature be downloaded from Sonos?

Anybody else have the problem where the Connect stops playing for a few seconds and then comes back - plays for som minutes and then stops again etc. What to do about that - is there a solution?

Hi there,I’ve got a Sonos Amp connected to a computer. I use it more like a line-in and less like a TV. Ok, it’s almost completely unlike a TV, in fact. :)It’d be nice to treat this more like a line-in:Specify an auto-play volume level. Allow playback to other speakers while using the Amp to play something different. (naturally, some added delay is expected here, similar to the “Group Delay” which exists today.) Rename the input to something other than “TV” (this has been brought up a handful of times over the years) This one seems like it’d be an easy addition and would make the whole experience a lot less confusing.Naturally, I would not like the analog line-in feature of added latency***. 😉 I understand this is an atypical use-case for Sonos speakers, but wanted to bring it up anyway to see what others thought. (***) On the topic of latency, what’s the expected added latency for HDMI audio input? Hi I’ve just got a era 100 - trying to work it out! I’ve realised it doesn’t do voice commands from you tube music so I’ve subscribed to Amazon music ( which it’s not brilliant at playing tracks from, it hardly ever get s the track I want) but all my playlists are in YouTube music…Is there anyway of copying or transferring playlists from ytm to Amazon? if I go into the app and select play from ytm ‘my super mix’  - it creates a playlist with 33600 tracks on it!! And some don’t work because they have failed to ‘encode properly’ is there a way to re encode it? anyway to get Amazon to play the same 33600 tracks !!  

Is there any plans for a Sonos Ace setting to disable play/pause/volume control beeps?It seems like a good idea based on the comments made in a bunch of reviews and some of the posts in this forum.Aside from a house full of Sonos equipment I’m an Apple user in general. I feel like this is the kind of detail that wouldn’t be overlooked by them. Loving the headphones in general, as someone who got tired of waiting for proper APM 2’s. I think just this setting to disable beeps and the whole lower volume level playing issue and they’re pretty much perfect.I know you can do it Sonos! 🙌🏻

I haven’t been using Sonos much after the May24 update, wiating for things to improve. Just uploaded my Mozart collection to the HD I keep my music library on, tho, so updated the library and started trying to play a few things. Disaster. Albums and playlists are now truncated and duplicated in random ways  - so a ten-track album might now appear as three albums, one with 2 tracks, one with 5 and one with 3 - or ten albums each with one track on. Same thing with playlists, which seem to be missing most of their original tracks. SO to play one album I need to play n album fragments. This is the case on both the PC version and the mobile app (Iphone).I’ve checked back to the itunes and music folders and all is untroubled there, so this seems to be another Sonos problem. I’d normally remove all the music folders from the library and then reload them, but that took three months to resolve last time I tried (last May). Anybody else got this problem, or an idea for a simple solution?Thanks

I have read a lot of threads on here, but I have yet to see anyone with the Sonos in-wall fronts with In-ceiling 8 inch speakers. How would one compare the sound stage and depth between the two set ups. I really want to use the two in wall speakers as fronts due to aesthetics as well as the fact that I have a mental block telling me the in-walls will last much longer than a soundbar. However, everywhere I read, says the arc ultra is incredible. My question I guess is how much of a compromise is it to go with in-walls in front vs arc ultra? The system would be mixed use, as my living room is open floorplan and is really the only space in my house to entertain aside from the backyard. I want a great cinematic experience but even better music experience. I don’t want to invest in the wrong speakers and deal with headaches. Please help. 

Hi all, for several weeks now, when I attempt to group some Sonos speakers located in other rooms with the Beam soundbar that is playing TV audio, the group does not remain fixed, and the speakers are immediately separated. It always worked but now it does not. (Ungroup on auto play is turned off).Anybody has any clue? Thank you

Libary no longer updates automatically, and the app freezes when I try and update the library manually.  FFS why is this such hot garbage. 

On the iPad mini running iPados 18.3 we can do most functions normally. But when we look at the SiriusXM channels we see different (old) information in the channels listing and sometimes in the channel’s view. The now playing in the controller at the bottom is correct, but what is listed on the channel screen or in the channel list is often an older track- sometimes they even show three different songs. Usually we can back out of the list (or jump up one more level if we are elsewhere in the Sirius section) and it refreshes (but it’s not 100% consistent).We have readded Sirius to the Sonos app, and reset the Sonos app and readded it to our system at the request of Support agent on chat. Same behavior. This seems to be relatively new. Has anyone else seen this?Has anyone figured out a cause or solution?

Hi, I want some advice as I will be new on Sonos and sound systems. I just bought a big TV (OLED 77 G4) and I want to put a system for the TV. I’m thinkin on the ARC ULTRA + one sub + 2 rears.Apart from that, I’m thinking on getting also a Move 2 for moving it around the rooms… ALso I want to buy a turntable… so I’m looking for advice about which one to buy… thinking that I would love to use it in all speakers at the same time and get benefit about the sonos ecosystem.I also appreciate opinions on Sub 4 vs Sub mini, Era 100 vs Era 300 :)About how to connect the turntable these are the options I’m thinking:Sonos Port + Any turntable A turntable with BluetoothAre there others?
