Sorry to hear about your experience.

You’ll have to provide more information such as:

  • Have you ran a diagnostic and contacted Sonos tech support
  • Number and model/type of Sonos speakers/components you have
  • Are any used as a stereo pair
  • Are any used in a home theater setup (Sonos sound bar with sub or surrounds or both)
  • Are you using a Bridge or Boost
  • Is your network a standard router and modem or Mesh
  • Is your router and modem supplied by your ISP (Intermet service provider) or do you own one or the other
  • Are any speakers wired to your router
  • Does your network include range extenders of any type (this is not the same as a mesh network setup)
  • Are you using an iOS or Android device and what model

This will provide a starting point to further troubleshoot your issues

And your point is….or is it just another baseless comment. If you have an issue why not give some us details.

Tbh, I am not tech savvy which is what initially drew me to the Sonos brand.  After spending a substantial amount of money to establish a sound system in my home about five years ago, and enjoying the easy set up and user interface for several years, suddenly everything changed thanks to the app redo presented by Sonos.

now, most of my system is not findable on the Sonos app.  Again, I am not tech savvy at all, but am sick of trying to restart the network connection, f*** with it when it decides it doesn’t recognize or find any devices, etc….

There have been some posts saying the recent versions of the app show big improvements in performance and functionality. Is your system up-to-date?
