Hi,Since a while now I have problems with my home cinema setup.One day I figured out that the setup of my Sonos Beam, Sub and 2 Play:1 was listed as Living Room (?+?+?) and the Sub as well as the two Play:1 didn’t have any IP on the WiFi network anymore.So I decided to remove the three speakers from Beam. This did work, but the speakers didn’t show up as standalone anymore and I still didn’t see any speaker gathering an IP. So I decided to reset all speakers, including Beam and rejoin them into the WiFi network.Now they all have an IP again. So I tried to connect the Sub to the Beam again. Suddenly it time out/fails to join and I get an error and offer to retry. Retrying doesn’t help. The sub is Now part of the Beam group but gone from WiFi again (no more IP) and marked as ?. Same for the Play:1 if I try.So, I tried to remove them again. Removing is not an issue. And I figured out that waiting for a while, the speaker gets an IP again, without rese

Anyone having issues with sub not working as good as before ? A week ago was working like a champ . Shaking my apartment . Type of bass that punches you in the chest . Now it seem less powerful . Not sure what the problem is . I ha e it paired with arc . I have LG CX 

I received my new sonos arc 2 days ago. Initially it work fine for a day. Next day, I was not able to connect to the network !. I did reset the arc, reinstalled the sonos app, tried with another iphone, restarted the router , still no success ! How can I get help, am not located in USA calling sonos support over phone and talking for an 1-2 hour will cost a lot ! Any suggestions please ?

Arc connected to LG B9 TV with x2 Play 1s and sub…..all works perfectly with films on Apple and Amazon (accessed via Apple 4K TV box). But, when listening to music from Apple, Amazon and Tune-In radio via the Sonos app I get a very loud constant crackle on the Arc.  All other speakers in the group work perfectly. Listening to Apple Music through the app on Apple 4K TV box works perfectly too. 

I have the Arc since a couple of weeks, it intermittently just stops working. I have to switch via the TV to the TV speakers and then the Arc starts working agaim. Until now, it has completely stopped working. What to do? Diag number 1629218982. Very annoying. 

Hello, i am unable to connect sonos One SL through airplay mode. I can acces my sonos five without a problem. The sonos one SL does show up as a choice but then i get the ‘unable to connect’ error. Weird thing is. When i use spotify i am able to select and play both on ios/macos. If i use the sonos app to select both while ios/macos music is playing i am able to group them. But not from the music app. It still gives me the airplay error. Any suggestions?

I have an Arc connected to the TV’s eARC (via HMDI).  I want to add an AMP to drive two existing speakers in the ceiling and a sub-woofer to the system.  Can I connect the AMP and SUB via wireless?  I don’t want to run additional wires to the TV.  Will this work correctly? 

This is my first Sonos purchase. As you can see, I must utilize the corner space for TV and sound bar since the house came with that hole:). I placed the Arc below TV and somehow feel I am not getting desired effect. Will the speaker on the side of the Arc properly bump the sound in closed space for Dolby atmos effect? or should the arc definitely place only in the center of the living room to get the Dolby Atmos effect?

We have spent hours setting up and troubleshooting newly acquired arc, 2 x play 1sl and sub.   The sound is constantly skipping jumping etc. Have tried new hdmi cables to no avail.  Today the back speakers have stopped working, again looking at lots of articles but not any real solutions.  Question - why is this so complicated Sonos you really need so make this easier as the user experience is dire.  I a, at the point where I think this needds to go back as I am past caring with trying to resolve.  I have spent a fortune and am listening to my tv through these tv speakers which is insane. Please someone can you help

Hi. I’m new to the community and need a little help. ive got a one and one xl as a stereo pair. (Plan on adding a beam Black Friday if I can get this issue sorted) it’s getting to be a regular weekly occurance now where one of my speakers is dropping out (most common is the one xl but Alexa still works but only plays audio through the one). in system my set up it shows as ?+L. to get it back connected I have to fully reset both speakers and fully reinstall the full system and re add all of my service which is becoming massively annoying now!  ive locked my WiFi channel. Tried 1, 6, now on 11 but seems to be making no difference at all. use sky hub router which I know uses the skyq box as a booster which could be an issue I’ve not found a resolution for  both speakers are approx 12 feet from my router and 6 feet apart. and both connected wirelessly. ive submitter a diagnostics report tonight  1912550822hopef

I want to change name of a Beam speaker from “9 Beam” to “2 Beam TV” - I can change it but it changes back after some time (have been like that for 6+ months...)

Hi… We have 6 Sonos Sl ...3 in the living room and 3 in the basement….They are alle set up to our wifi routerin the livingroom..But the sound keeps on dropping out in the basement…?I have bought a TP Link RE 450 extender to place in the basement..My question are :Is Sonos linked to my main router (it seems that way).?How can I connect my 3 Sonos in the Basement to the 450 extender..? and still playing the same musicas in the livingroom where the 3 other Sonos are connected to the main wifi router Kind RegardsNadeem

I have a new Sonos Beam.  I’m using Wifi with as Asus RT-AC88U Router.  On the router I have mapped an IP to the Sonos MAC so I always get the same IP.(this issue happened before I did this as well).  I’m generally using Tidal to play music. In the routers diagram webpage it shows the beam is connected with 5 bars tx54/rx24, the devices are about 5 feet from each other.Using Airplay via my iPad/iPhone seems to work consistently.(my understanding this is direct and bypasses my router) If the Beam has not been used for a few hours and I open up the Sonos app it will never detect the system.  One of the following scenarios happens. #1. Ping the device successfully from router system tools pageIf I ping the device and it responds successfully it seems to maybe wake it up? If I force kill the app on my iOS device it will usually show Sonos connected after 1-2 minutes. #2. Ping doesn’t respondif impress play on the beam

Hello,I have the same problem described in the two links below. A surround system with one Beam and two One SL. I have a playbase with a Sonos One and a One SL as surrounds. The Playbase is connected directly to my router.If I am playing audio from Spotify, Sonos radio or my own music library the One SL keeps cutting out sound intermittently. I have swapped the SL with another Sonos One from elsewhere in the house and have found that its only the SL that has the problem.I have removed it from the surround setup as a standalone and the audio is fine however when I put the surround back together the issue comes back.I have been through the motions. Wifi channel. Sonos Channel etc. I have also tried to connect it to the router by cable and the problem still exists which rules out a WiFi issue I think.I have hit a wall guys. Anyone have any suggestions?

Good Morning Im looking for some advice I recently bought a optical switch for my Sonos Beam so I could hardwire my devices straight to beam as was getting really bad lip sync problems on my Sky Q. The switch has worked for Lip Sync issues & everything is in sync now, though I am getting really bad electrical interference when viewing now. Examples when lighting gas hobs on cooker, boiler kicking in, light switches turning on. Is cutting the sound out though it is only for a small amount of time becoming really frustrating.  I have tried bypassing the switch & the electrical interference stops. Has anyone got any ideas how to stop interference if using switch or how to sort lip sync issue out so I don’t need to use switch.  My set upSonos Beam connected to router via Ether.Lg Tv Sky QPS4Nintendo Switch 

I have Beam and 2 ONE SL's for suround speakers. Have trouble with the sonos app on my phone "S10". Trying to set up home theater and I can't get pass the pop-up screen that states select the speaker on the screen that it making the chime. For only thing on the screen is the pop-up message.

Hello All,I bought a 2020 Samsung TU8000 with eARC. The manual and Samsung support said that it supports multichannel PCM, but upon trying it with both the PS4 and Nintendo Switch, all I get is Stereo 2.0 PCM. I’ve heard there will be an update on Samsung’s end via a couple of forums, but will this be updating all 2020 Samsung TVs? Also, is this definitely something wrong on Samsung’s end or is it, in fact, a Sonos/Samsung compatibility issue?Thanks for your help!

This Sonos Beam was working perfectly fine until a couple of days ago. I’ve moved to a new home / new Wifi, so I reset all the speakers and started fresh. After the updates, all speakers seem to be OK, but the Beam has lost its staus LED light. Nothing happens if I toggle the “Status light” setting on and off in the S2 app. I have tried powering it on and off, and nothing. I have tried resetting it again, but it’s hard to follow the procedure, because when trying to follow the steps I don’t get any lights at all on the LED. The speaker seems to work OK otherwise, except that I’ve also found out that neither voice assistant (Alexa/Google) works anymore. I used Google Assistant on this same device before, so I wonder if this is related. Touch controls seem to work, and I get sound feedback when I touch them. If I touch on the “mic” button after setting up Google Assistant, I hear the voice saying “the mic is off” and “the mic’s back on”, but t

Hello!I have a Beam and two 3s. They are combined and appear as Living Room. They sound great.Sometimes, though, I might want to stream music through one of the 3s on its own. Can I do that? Can I define it as its own entity and leave it as part of the group?Thanks!Nik

I have recently moved, set up new 5G connection, tv, phones etc all work. I have Play1, 2xPlay3 and Playbar…. all of these are working, however, the Sonos App won’t show my accounts, settings or speakers, even though they are working and being used as a surround sound for my tv.I have spent about 6 hours trying to figure this out, I’m losing patients and getting increasingly annoyed.

Hi all can anyone help me? I have purchased a Sonos  beam and am having difficulties getting it to send anything other than a Stereo 2.0 my tv is  Panasonic 3D Plasma TX-P42ST60B. The tv doesn’t seem to give me the audio options I need to resolve the issue. I’ve considered buying a new tv but this seems a drastic and expensive solution. I need some advise.
