HELP my sonos sub isn’t working at all, I have connected it and disconnected it and it’s still not producing any bass with my sonos beam and two sonos ones and I have a code for diagnostic 1086014768

I have had a Sonos System working quite happily for years, comprising a number of play 1 speakers, a play 3 and a beam sound bar.recently the app has been very hit and miss about finding the devices and usually displays the message  unable to connect to sonos  I have tried plugging one in to Ethernet which did temporarily fix the issue but after a couple of days it was the same issue and even restarting the connected speaker didn’t restart the system. I’ve tried controlling it from multiple devices with the same issue.  Yet if I use the Spotify app all the devices are visible and can be used. I’m still using the s1 software but having seen so many people saying that their system has stopped working with Spotify on S2 that doesn’t seem a good move. Any ideas? 

Trying to set up my new beam. have tried a few times but after about 5 mins it disappears from the room list and I have to do a factory reset.  each time I get as far as the connecting to TV stage but both Arc and optical fail every time. I have tried using a different HDMI cable that I know works.  I previously had a sound bar connected via optical so I know that output works on TV.  On arc the error message is interference but I still get this even will all other cables unplugged.  I can get sound form tv through the beam but not when the beam appears on the app.  help please

I have a new Arc SL (Costco version), and experiencing issues connecting to a 2018 QLED Samsung TV through HDMI Arc. Previously I had a Beam+Sub+Surrounds connected. The TV sensed a proper Dolby Digital connection with the Beam. After connecting the new Arc, neither Dolby Digital nor Dolby Digital Plus protocols are available to select. Obviously, no Atmos, nor Dolby digital. Wondering if anyone has a similar issue with either the Arc SL (purchased at Costco) or with the actual Sonos Arc, standard edition. 

I too am having issues with intermittent audio between my new 65” 2020 Samsung Frame TV and my new Sonos Arc. Every morning, after the tv has been off, the audio is intermittent: maybe ½ second of sound every 3 seconds. The tv is connected with a new high speed HDMI cable (came with the Arc) into the eArc port in the TV.  Unplugging the sound bar from power and plugging back in fixes the issue as long as the tv stays on. But this is not a solution, only a work around.  I am so tired of this problem I have forgone the ATMOS feature and connected the ARC to the tv using the provided optical converter.  Does anyone no of a fix for this? Sonos tells me to unplug the ARC and Samsung tells me to unplug the TV. Neither seem to have a fix.  Sonos - please help a loyal and long time customer!

I own a Sonos Beam and Move. I was shocked when I brought home the Move because it was more of a light gray than white. I also ordered the Sub and I am thinking about upgrading my Beam to the ARC but I was wondering if the shade of white matches now. 

Good morning and a happy new year to the Sonos community.My issue is that after I have powered-on my Sonos speakers, I get no sound from my Sonos One SLs while watching TV until I have repeated the TV Setup in the Sonos 2 app.Music is fine, just TV.For info:TV is LG 55 CX   

I want to set up a home theater using an Arc, Sub (Gen 3), One SL (Pair). I understand that the One SL’s are supposed to be behind you but do not have a location to put them behind the viewing area. If I put them on the same front wall as the TV and Arc will the sound profile be the same as putting them in the rear  Thanks Jerry

For well over a year I was a fairly happy Sono’s owner.  11 speakers, 4 rooms and a Move - everything usually worked and all was well.  About a month ago that all changed.  During a storm we had our power flicker a few times (every device plugged into a surge and my media room is on its own surge - nothing damaged) - long enough to clear the clocks on a few things but not long enough to start the generator.  From that day I have spent 30+ hours trouble shooting my system to get it back.Let me confirm every speaker can connect and play but not at the same time - 9 out of 11 is the best i’ve gotten so far.  Beginning to think this is part of the iOS issues recently listed but not corrected?I have read just about every forum and help file but have reached the end of the line.  You might ask “have you contacted support?” and the answer is I have not.  I have had only one support experience with Sono's but it is scared in my brain as being one of the worst support experienc

Sonos Arc sound cutting in and out.Connected to a Samsung arc hdmi input and the speaker makes a clicking sound and reduces the volume to approx 10% eveytime I increase the volume.All devices connected to network hardwired so not down to a weak WiFi connection.Tried a hard reset on all devices including network, seems to be OK for a couple of minutes then reverts back to the issue.Any help appreciated.

I don’t have AppleTV, so I’m trying to understand what other AirPlay devices might be conflicting with the ability for the S2 app to display controls on my iOS lock-screen. It’s strange: sometimes the controls appear on my lock screen, sometimes they don’t. I haven’t been able to discern any logic as to when they do / don’t. For instance: right now, I have my iPhone and my iPad active, but without any AirPlay-eligible apps open. And an LG TV (to which my Beam is attached via HDMI ARC) sitting passively / off. And yet the lock screen controls won't show on my iPhone, as they were doing earlier today. I can imagine this is an iOS problem, rather than a Sonos problem (since, mysteriously, sometimes my Timer will appear on my lock screen, and sometimes it won’t). But, just in case there’s an easy fix: I figured I’d ask.. Many thanks..

Hi there. A bit of a longshot but here it goes. I am trying to use the Beam as a stand alone speaker without the 70ms delay. The intended setup is as follows:My sound source is a DJ Mixer which has standard RCA output (left/right, white/red cable, you get it) I want to convert this into HDMI ARC in order for the Beam to accept and play.Question, what gadget will i need inbetween to convert the signal??  Some says that a TV inbetween can do the trick but surely there has to be another solution with a smaller size gadget. Like a preamp or something?  Would a laptop/mac work as inbetween gadget? FYI i have no intention to stream the sound into other Sonos devices, ONLY the Beam. Thanks in advance

I just bought a sonos Sub and I connected it to my exisitng sonos system. However there is no sounds coming out from my sub. I check my sonos app and I see sub is added to it. Can you please help me to solve this issue. i submitted a diagnostics and confirmation number is 111703259

Out of the blue my Sonos beam has just stopped working!  I wouldn’t say my 3 Sonos devices have been working fine since I bought them a year ago. If it was not the very difficult and frustrating initial setup and connection or every so often just disappearing from options on Spotify to play my music from. Which I then have to hard reboot everything which is just not what I expect from very expensive devices.  now my Beam has just stopped working with my TV. I have changed nothing but it is telling me that it can’t connect to my Arc. I can’t understand this as there are no new devices, nothing has changed other than maybe my latest Sonos software update.  whatever it is, I now can’t use my beam and this is extremely frustrating and disappointing. If it was not for the cost I’d throw them all in the bin and start again. The dream is great having all your speakers synced and playing music throughout my house. HiI have recently purchased an Arc, Hub and two One SLs. I added the Arc, Hub and the first One (Left) to a room (Living Room), and successfully added the second One (Right) to Living Room 2. However the system has been unable to pair them as surrounds, and now ‘Right’ has disappeared from the System. From what I’ve gleaned from reading other posts, this may be down to wireless interference (I use a WAP in the room to strengthen the Wifi signal) but it isn’t clear what I can do to prevent this. In ‘About My System’ the Right speaker now does not appear. Should I perhaps delete the setup and start over, and hard wire the Arc via an Ethernet cable? Many thanks, and apologies if this has been asked elsewhere, but I cannot see an exact match to this problemMike

I just purchased a Beam for my (modest) home theatre set-up, and I’m quite enjoying the idea of jumping deeper into the Sonos ecosystem. I’m debating purchasing a pair of Ones to improve my experience of music while roaming through the apartment (i.e. by placing one in bedroom and one in kitchen). But, this feels a bit too luxurious for my annual income, so I’m looking for some extra value-added. Would it be possible to use this pair of speakers in a modular fashion? I.e. during the day, they could be set-up in different rooms, but at night (or when needed), they could shift into position as rear speakers in a home theatre surround sound system (albeit without the Sub)? Would this kind of a flexible/modular system be simple enough to maneuver through the app? Or is the process of identifying speakers as part of a surround system a bit more time-intensive / cumbersome than I’m imagining? (And, more specifically: is it possible to set-up surround rears without having a Sub as part of

I received my SONOS Sub Gen 3 today, I connected it successfully to my Paired Sonos 5 Gen 2 speakers and all was working great. All speakers working brilliantly and in harmony. After an hour or so of music listening i stopped using the system. I came back to listen to some music a few hours later an no sound was coming from the SUB. I have tried all the trouble shooting like reset the network, disconnect and reconnect the speakers from/to the network, power off and powered back up etc yet SUB is still not producing sound. This is very frustrating

If I stream music either from my iPhone or through a streaming app on the TV there is no bass from the subwoofer in the music. Is this normal? My Bose Lifestyle 600 sure did.

I just purchased the ARC SL and have a 12 year old CD 5 disk carousel which has an ethernet connection which will plug into the ARC SL.  My question is will the ARC recognize the CD player and be able to play since the CD player has no WiFi.

I have set up my Beam with my Samsung tv and everything works perfectly except one thing!  I have connected the Beam to the tv with HDMI arc and, as mentioned the tv sound comes through the soundbar perfectly. I also can control volume with my TV remote control.  My problem is that after I turn the TV off and come back to it the next day and turn it back on to he TV reverts to using its own speakers. If I power off the Beam and then back on it reconnects and all is fine again, I don’t want to have to turn the Beam off and on every time though. Have I missed something simple??

My beam started getting crackling sound after using it after sometime.. i removed tuning after seeing the suggestions from the forums but still the issue remains the same.. diagnostic information number is 2011239240   please advise    Regards. Rajesh

HiI have some really annoying issues with my Sonos ARC.I’ll try to describe it as thorough as possible. I have a Samsung 2016 UE55KS8005, non e-ARC tv. audio settings on the tv is set to PCM. When playing anything from my Apple TV 4K, there is no sound at all. I also tried changing audio format on the ATV to all available formats, 5.1 and stereo but no difference.When just using the built in apps in the tv and with Apple TV disconnected there is sound coming through my Sonos ARC and it works as expected.A workaround is when playing something on the Apple TV, is to disconnect Sonos arc from hdmi and reconnecting it again, then it works, but just until what you currently is watching, when you play something else, then it’s all quiet again.Even if it works with the ATV disconnected, I still think it’s the tv not being able to process the audio in some way.Apple TV is running 14.3, but also tried 14.4 beta but same result.diagnostic 75211

Hi everyone first post as a new member so bear with me! I’ve received an IKEA Symfonisk table lamp as a present recently and I also have a new One SL. Ive got a Beam already set up for my TV in the living room, can I add the ONE SL and Symfonisk speakers as a surround set?  thanks in advance!  Chris 

I have joined the back order queue for Arc to replace my Playbar.Do I need to buy a new mounting plate or can the Arc be fixed on the Playbar plate?

Wanted to purchase the full package (unfortunately out of stock right now) with the Arc, Sub G3 and 2x One SL but I have an issue. My TV does not support eARC which means I cannot experience TrueHD Dolby Atmos. I saw that there is an Optical to HDMI adapter included with the Arc. Does this mean that I CAN experience TrueHD Dolby Atmos using this connector and not having a hassle with two remotes?
