I got the full surround set up in my TV room. I’d like to have the Sub connect to that, as well as the a two Fives set up in the adjoining dining room. Do I have to disconnect/connect every time?

Yes, you have to disconnect/connect every time. You will also have to redo Trueplay tuning each time.
