I have a Sonos Amp in one room, Sonos Play:1s setup as a stereo pair with a sub in another,  and single Sonos One SLs in different rooms.  Everything is on a single network using EERO Pros.  I use the S2 app.    When I turn on the option to “Group Non-Airplay Products”, then Airplay to either the Amp or the one of the One SLs, I am expecting the Play:1s to play whatever is streaming via Airplay.   Airplay is working to the Airplay compatible systems just fine, but nothing comes out of the Play:1s.  This is true whatever the source.  (Spotify, Podcasts, etc)   If I use the Sonos app and select the Play:1s, they work fine.  Any multi-room combination also works fine using the Sonos app so I feel like the network is working properly.  The Airplay compatible products work as expected with Airplay, just not the Play:1s  with the “Group Non-Airplay Products” switch on (or off) Maybe I am not understanding what the “Group Non-Airplay Products” switch is suppose to do.  If I am understanding i

Hi there so I have a Sonos beam, connect amp gen 2 and two ceiling speakers. The issue I have is that the wiring for the speakers, connect amp and the WiFi router are down stairs in the utility room. The beam is up upstairs with the television.  How can I get the ceiling / amp speakers to work with the beam? Do I only need to connect the connect amp to the router? I have seen mixed comments about amp and beam needing to be connected to each other via Ethernet.is it possible to use a Ethernet Powerline adapter to make the beam think it’s connected?I do have cat 5 cabling running through the walls from the utility cupboard to where the beam is but this is already occupied as only one port in the living room.   failed to see any answers for the above so much appreciated any insights  

I recently purchased a One SL and a Port. I use CloudBeats as my main music app to play music hosted in the cloud via Airplay. For about a month it worked fine with no issues playing to either or both speakers, but starting about a week ago the CloudBeats app started crashing whenever I connect to the Port. It works fine with the One SL, but crashes every 2-5 minutes when I play to the Port. I’ve been in contact with the CloudBeats dev and he’s been trying to help, but doesn’t have a Port to test with. He said I should check the Ports firmware, which is up to date as far as I can tell. Has anyone else experienced this issue? 

I’m thinking of getting two arcs, one for the living room TV and one for the upstairs TV (both LG CXs). If I add extra speakers for each Arc (bass or surround) will there be any interference between the two separate systems. In other words, the bass in the living room should not be “activated” when I use the Arc upstairs. Is that how it works (I hope)? Thanks.

Hello, I have the Sonos Arc, 2 Sonos One SL and the Sonos Sub in my living. If I am listening to any radio streaming service, after awhile, it sounds very echoy and it will not go away. Is there a solution for this? My speakers are all up to date on software but the issue keeps happening.

I just got my Sonos ARC and have an existing pair of in ceiling speakers behind my couch powered by a Sonos AMP that I intended to pair with the ARC for surround sound.  When I set up the ARC with HDMI ARC input I used the app to set up surrounds with my Sonos AMP and it pairs the two together but then the amp won't play any sound for either TV or Music through the rear speakers, the Sonos ARC plays just fine. Am I doing something wrong?  Everything is hardwired to a network switch connected to my router. 

Hi,I have an LG OLED 65 "and Sonos Arc soundboard.These will be wall mounted. How high on the wall should the TV be placed? And how far below should the soundboard be placed? I will use Sonos’ wall mount for Arc.The TV sofa is placed 2.5 m2 from the wall. The room is approx. 20 m2.Thank you in advance for your help.Regards

I have two Play 5 v2 in a stereo pair, a Sub that works with them and a Playbar that supports the TV audio.  My overall listening space is about 12” x 18”.  However the room is L-shaped with a hallway opening not he right side that is about 6” x 12”.  Currently I have my Sub positioned in the “closed corner” on the left side of the room.  Do you think this is the best position for the Sub or would you put it on the opposite, “opened” end of the floor near the 6” x 12” opening?  Why would you make a particular choice?

Hi AllI have just bought a Sonos Arc.I was clearly hoping to use the Dolby Atmos functionality. Unfortunately, it does not appear to be working. I am using it with a Sony Bravia XH92 65 inch (kd-65xh9296) with the latest firmware (its a 2020 tv) and used the HDMI lead supplied with the Arc and plugged into the ARC HDMI socket on the TV. I have set the audio settings on the Sony as follows - A/V sync set to Auto and eARC mode set to auto.Normal stereo sound is fantastic.Obviously I have checked the Sonos app - this does not show the Dolby Atmos sign on the 'Now Playing' screen for the Arc and on the 'About my System' screen it informs me that the audio input into the Arc is generally Dolby Digital Plus 5.1.No mention of Atmos at any point.None of the apps on the Sony TV give me Atmos including films on Google Play, Disney and Netflix (all films that I have checked the system with I know are Atmos coded)I am not using a Bluray. I will also post on the Sony forum but I'm wondering if anyo

Plugged in sonos beam yesterday with hdmi arc into samsung hu7500 tv. Volume on beam is low and dialogue not super quality. Need to listen to appletv at like 60 volume and even then dialogue quality not great. Talked to customer support for 2 hours this morning they couldnt figure it out. I suspect its tv compatibility issue but sonos doesnt think so.  any ideas!? 

Hi,I hope someone can help me solve my connection issues because I'm desperate, Sonos hotline and chat were unable to find the solution.I have 7 Sonos products :- 1 Beam wire plugged with 2 Play:1 as satellites (WiFi)- 2 Play:1 on WiFi- 1 Play:3 on WiFi- 1 One on WiFiI use an Asus rt-ac68u as main router :- The ISP box doesn't have WiFi nor DHCP functionality enabled, it is wired to the WAN port of the Asus.- The Asus has DHCP enabled and all Sonos devices have fixed IP assigned outside of the DHCP range.- The 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi of the Asus is on band 20/40Mhz, currently channel 3 (I tried them all one by one).Since 3 months I keep having connection issues, it has been working just during 2 years before that. Sonos devices disconect during few seconds or few minutes and then come back (or not). It is totally random and happens on WiFi devices but also on the Beam that is wired. I just got a new network set up in my house and after spending 90 minutes on the phone with Sonos customer support, I learned that using the Sonos2 app, I can no longer connect my Samsung “Frame” tv to my Sonos Sound bar using the optical cable.  Apparently, the new Sonos2 app requires HDMI.  FOr those that don;t know what the Frame is, it’s a TV that looks like a picture frame on the wall.  There is a very thin almost invisible optical cable that runs from the bottom of this picture “Frame” to the box.  I am not going to plug in a ugly thick HDMI cable to the back of the TV. Sonos needs to fix this ASAP!  I had no problems with Sonos1.  At least bring back Sonos1 so I can get my TV hooked up to quality sound.

Hey guys, I was hoping to get some help/clarification of what’s going on.  setup:lg C9-Sonos Arc+sub(gen2)+LS+RS(both are one SL)As you all are aware my arc is connected directly to my TV and is connected vi Ethernet to my router. When I turn off the wifi on the arc my system goes haywire-surrounds don’t work and sub shuts off. When I turn it back on everything is fine. I have read another post and heard that wifi does need to be on even though the arc is Ethernet direct. I’m on my phone and wish I could copied it before typing this.  now, on that forum I saw they were mentioning “WM:#” when I go into about my system all my devices show WM:0. With my arc directly connected I figured it would show a #1. Hi,I have recently added a Beam to my setup but the sound is lagging the picture. It’s only a fraction but enough to notice the voices don’t match the lips. Looking online this appears to be a very common problem caused by the TV not being able to process the audio quickly enough to send to the soundbar. This seems a common problem regardless of the brand of TV. I have this problem whether I’m watching TV or a Blu-ray. I have experimented changing settings to PCM and this solves the issue but I have various ways I can achieve PCM. My equipment and settings are as follows, all connected over HDMI.Samsung TVAudio delay Setting - 100 (default value)Digital output - options are auto, pass-through or PCM----Virgin Media V6 Cable TV BoxOptions are Dolby Digital or Dolby Digital to PCM---Blu-ray PlayerDolby Audio - options are Bitstream or PCMDTS/DTS-HD - options are Bitstream or PCM My question is which combination of settings is best to use and what do I lose by going with these? I have read various posts on here suggesting that it does not really matter where a sub goes since the sound is not directional … but I have a question: is it possible to be too close to my Arc? The sub itself is a work of art, so I want to display it prominently … but I’m worried that the space I have in mind is too close to the Arc and that it might impede the Arc.

I know there are similar threads but cant seem to find an answer :(After my girlfriend moved in we now have a spare playbar we just want to use as a speaker.I can reset it and see it in the app but keeps asking me to setup as connected to a TVHow do I get around this? 

Hi there, I have a 5.1 Sonos setup (Arc + Sub + 2 Ones). I have my PC connected to my LG C9 TV via HDMI cable, which is connected to my graphic card’s HDMI out port. According to the Sonos app, my Arc is receiving Dolby Plus 5.1 sound from my TV, but the left and right surrounds are not outputting any sound at all.After hours of fiddling with the TV’s and PC’s audio settings, I have only ever been able to get Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 sound (never Dolby Atmos, sadly, but at this point I’ve invested so much time that I’ll settle for 5.1). I have tried restarting my devices numerous times, tried every conceivable permutation of Windows sound settings and TV sound settings, and even removed and re-added the surrounds to my setup, but to no avail.Has anyone ever had this same issue? Any ideas on how we can get the surrounds to work?

I set up my nee Arc and had it up and running including setting up Spotify with it. Now when I open the IOS App it keeps asking me to set up your product again. My speaker is working with my TV but not showing in the IOS App. My iPhone is running IOS 14.4Ive a Linksys Velop system in my house connected through a Virgin routerPlease help!

I tried emailing support@sonos.com but that address is no longer monitored. So hopefully someone can help me here? I’d like to send Sonos Support proof of the vibrating sound and the information on my device (like Serial Number, etc).When playing just about any music or TV audio, the bass tends to make the device vibrate/rattle with a horrible noise. I tried doing another auto-tune, but that hasn’t helped. The device is becoming unusable.

My Sonos Arc and Sub constantly have trouble connecting to my wifi, but all my other Sonos speakers stay connected and work as they should 

Just got new router: Archer AX50My system:Kitchen - 2xsonos one gen2Living room: sonos beam + 2xone gen2 + sonos subBedroom: sonos amp with 2 passive speakers and subWhen i first got the router last Friday, i was able to get the current sonos system connected to the router by plugging one of the kitchen speakers directly in with an ethernet cable, connect the current network to the new 5ghz network, then unplug the speaker back to the kitchen and job done.Now i woke up this morning and couldn’t see the system again, repeated the step with connecting one speaker to the router again (after completed the sonos app recommended with unplug, restart router and so on).So what do i do now, do i have to factory reset and setup everything again from scratch, or what would work?

I have a very large room I need to deliver sound to, can I install two Sonos Arc's and control them as one zone? I also intend to back this up with a sub for base.

Hi alli have seen a lot of posts here and on Samsung forum about the eArc issue but no mention of my specific issue. Everything set up easily and sounds excellent, however, randomly the sound will completely cut out. Seems to happen after unpausing a show or some times after a fast forward or changing channels Turning the tv off and back on solves it.  I am connected earc out of the tv. I got the Arc a couple of weeks prior to getting the Q60T and the Arc works perfectly. I had the Arc connected to my 2006 Pioneer plasma tv via the optical out on my cable box. Not 1 issue at all. Seems some finger pointing between Samsung and Sonos going on at source of issues? Could it be some growing pains of new technology? I feel pretty confident it’s an eArc issue with the TV and not the Sonos Arc. My set up is as simple as it gets. Cable box is the only input device to tv out to Sonos Arc. Been using SonoS products for years so more loyal to SonoS than any tv brand.  Thank you all!! 

I am documenting a problem with setting up my Beam, to which I devoted half a day of my time and found two semi-satisfactory solutions.Problem: When I attempt to connect my Beam to my Sony Bravia TV via the HDMI-ARC, the Sonos app says there is “interference” and that I should disconnect other home theater devices.  The only other device I am connected to is my Arris cable box (Suddenlink) via HDMI so I unplug that, and the Beam connects to my TV.  Then I plug the cable box back in.  At that point, the Beam works, and volume can be controlled from the Sony remote.  However, within a few minutes (or sooner than that, if I turn the TV off and back on) the TV starts kicking me out of the Beam and back to TV audio.  Then the Beam needs to be set up again.  Very frustrating.Solution One (Sonos tech support): connect Beam via optical audio adapter instead of HDMI-ARC.  This works and is stable… but the TV volume can only be controlled via the Sonos app, not via the TV remote.  The TV happens

Hi All, In the process of moving house and packing bit by bit and I have come across an issue with my Sony TV (KD-49XE9005). I have a Sonos Beam that produced the sound for it and after having packed the Sonos away my TV won’t switch on, via remote or buttons on the TV and I have tried a 5 second power button reset - nothing. The TV worked just prior the unplugging and everything else is as it was previously which is just the power. The Beam was connected via the ARC. I've tried plugging the Beam back in as well as changing the fuse in my power socket and still nothing. Anybody have any other ideas or know what the problem is? Any help appreciated. Thanks
