Hi,I am trying to connect my MacBook to the ddj-sx and output to the sonos playbar.  no sound comes through the speakers.  While the computer runs serrato dj pro and the deck runs, the only audio i can hear is from the headphones.  i connected the deck to 2 coax cables (R and L) and connected that to a converter that connects to the playbar with a optical cable but the sound does not go through, Anyone know about this and how to fix it

I’m a bit irritated with Sonos at the moment.  Normal audio equipment should just work, and this has not been the case. Sonos says that OneSL and Beam are compatible with S2When I open the S1 app, it says an update is needed.  When I try the update, it wants to download S2.  Fine.  But when I open S2, it says my OneSL and Beam are incompatible!  So which is it?  In the meantime, I’m having issues where every few times trying to play music via WiFi, I am no longer able to do so, and some magic combination of rebooting the router, speaker, and time of day I guess, *sometimes* gets things working again.  I was hoping an update would resolve the issue, but the S1 vs S2 thing is stopping that from happening. My main question: Is there a reason my devices are showing up as incompatible with S2?​​​​​

Hello allI have a sonos one and beam currently plugged in and I have several music services but Rova which is use to play my local radio station (also seems to be the only service that streams my local radio station) the music skips/ stops every half minute or so.This only happens with this service as Spotify, tube in etc etc do not do it. Has anyone had a similar issue?Internet solutions are tricky as the internet is paid for my work so the provider has to change channels etc. All I can do is turn the router off and on again which I have done many times and doesn't resolve the issue. 

LG55 GI EVO with Arc installed, just HDMI to correct TV HDMI.After setup the Arch was the permanent sound output device. Attempts to select TV speakers would switch back to HDMI Arch.One solution suggested was disable simple-link on TV. This works. It appears this new TV may not be full compatibility with the Arch. If anybody else has experienced this, or just smart enough to know a work around and solution it would be most welcome.

Hello,I’ve spent three hours today calling between LG and Sonos Customer Support and know one can really help. I tried everything from turning off the TV/Soundbar for 30sec. Adding a new device in LG even using Philips instead of Sonos. Deactivating eARC in the LG setting, and I'm super frustrated as you would think a 1700 USD dollar TV and 400 USD soundbar would sync properly, and instead I get no tone over the Soundbar and the TV remote setup for Sonos does not work.. Does anyone have the same issue or is it just me???

I have:Zyxel router where Wi-Fi has been disabled. From zyxel goes a cable to DECO M9 PLUS. From Deco goes a cable to Sonos Boost.All Sonos products (2*five, 1*3, 1*symfonisk, 1*Arc) are connected via Boost (WM: 0)I have tried to connect Sub (gen 3). In the end of the setup it says the “Sub has been added but might not be shown. Turn it off and on again”.…But nothing happens. It will not connect. Find missing products does not help. Diagnostic: 179467386 Wi-Fi on Arc is enabled, and I have tried both the resetting, unplugging, and rebooting of all devices. I never get to the point where I should add Sub to Arc. It never shows on my system.I have tried both “add product” from System and  “connect sub" from the room where the Arc is installed. No luck 👎 

I am hoping you can steer me in the correct direction with my setup.We have Apple, Foxtel and DVD inputs. And want to run them on TV or Projector.We have the Sonos Arc, Boost, Amp In ceiling speakers and the sub woofer.Could you let me know if this can be done with a HDMI Matrix switch.

Hi All,I just picked up a Sony 950h tv and a Sonos Arc and I absolutely love it! However, when I’m trying to airplay from Mac to my tv, video is fine but there is no audio to the Arc. And when I try to output the audio to the Arc, I lose the video on my TV.. Any ideas why or how to resolve this?

Previously we had our sonos ones (stereo pair) connected as surrounds to our beam. Just noticed the surrounds no longer connect.  I’ve done the factory reset and a) added them to the same room and b) put them under a separate room and grouped to room with the beam.  When I try to “add surrounds” it takes a few moments and then gives an error.  Has a change gone through to make them not speak together?  thank you for your help!

This just started a few weeks ago.  I have never had this problem before. System: Beam, (2) play 1’s and sub for surround system.  Play 5.  Roam.I’m frequently losing connection to the sub and play 1’s in app for surround.  Intermittently lose connection of Roam.Nothing has changed with equipment; router and modem are the same.  Internet service is the same.  I did add (1) Roam to the system and now that I think about it…...these issues started when I added the Roam.Diagnostic submitted is 1597700739I’ve tried resetting network, rebooting mesh hubs, removing and adding back sub and play 1’s….all troubleshooting has failed.Please help.Danny

Greetings,Wondering what settings everyone is using (if you even have to tweak it at all) When I run the airplay sync on the atv it throws off the lip sync big time.I know there’s an option to fine tune the sync in the Sonos app but that didn’t seem to help.ThanksRyan

Here is my diagnosis code: 1444175297i watched mortal Kombat and now Stowaway on HBO Max and Netflix, respectively. The sound has gaps intermittently and I have already disconnected the hdmi cable and restarted the sonos arc and I’m still getting the same issue. 

Would I be able to use a PLAY 5: GEN 2 in a room system with a Beam and two PLAY 1 speakers?  I know I can have them in the same room to play audio and music, but my question is if I can actually include it in the stereo system, like how I use the Play 1 speakers as rear stereo with my TV and Beam.

Hi! I bought an Arc back in November ‘20 and have enjoyed it for the most part. Frustgratingly, however, the HDMI connection appears to be loose and as a result, the sound disconnects frequently. Reaching around to the back of the Arc and moving the HDMI cable will invariably reconnect the sound but not always. Unplugging the cable and reattaching it - either to the Arc or the TV - doesn’t solve the issue. There’s a lot of play in the connection (can wiggle a lot). Other HDMI cables also have the same issue. Has anyone else had this issue and can anyone suggest any fixes, other than sending the unit back for repairs - if accepted?

Hi my surrounds are very quiet when listening to twitch or YouTube through my nvidia sheild even when I turn the app setting to the highest volume.If the service like twitch only sends a PCM stereo signal out then why can’t I set my surrounds as full volume as the beam!I know you can do this through music streamed through the Sonos app but why can’t you set this for the tv optical out?I do not want to keep pairing and in pairing the surrounds every time I want to use my nvidia sheild.I have spent so much money on this set up and looking through the forum this has been a major problem that you still haven’t addressed. 

Error: Another device interfering with HDMI connection. I just bought the Sonos Arc, connecting to my LG TV via HDMI ARC/CEC. When my cable box and roku are connected via HDMI, no sound through Sonos ARC. I can only get sound when I disconnect everything else, to include cable. Everything hooked correctly, tv setup correct. Please help! 

Hi everyone,I have two tv setups at home that both produce a strange issue of unreliable sub audio levels. My living room and my master bedroom each have a Sonos Arc, and Sub. Both setups are wired over Ethernet, with wifi disabled (my own obsession of signal reliability), and have been trueplay tuned.  Everything works great other than most of the time I don’t hear enough bass, so I go into the room settings and manually increase the sub audio level. Where it gets strange is the sub audio level will at some point in the next day or two reduce back down to a low, and inaudible level. For example, if I increase the sub audio to +10, at some point I’ll notice the bass is low again, go into the settings to check, and the sub audio will be down to -1, -8, or something like that. I have since tried removing Ethernet and enabling wifi to test at the suggestion of Sonos support, issue persists. My Sonos One SL will not allow me to connect my Spotify account. My Spotify account is a premium subscription and all of a sudden Sonos stopped playing that media server. I have 3 Sonos One SL’s connected to my business network. Two are set up as a stereo, and the last one is added by itself. Now my account will not play any media server, including Spotify and Apple Music. The stereo pair is not showing (?+R). Please help!

Hi all, I’ve come here to share some grievances that my pair of (stereo-setup) One SLs give me. After some time (usually a few days), both speakers decide to ignore DHCP offers from my DHCP server and start to setup their own, isolated, and unreachable, network in the 169.254.0.0/16 LINKLOCAL-RFC3927 space. Restarting the speakers does not help, only disconnecting from the WiFi and reconnecting makes them accept DHCP offers again. Obviously, ignoring DHCP offers and resorting to an isolated enclave is not an appropriate mechanism for a network-only speaker. I’d be eager to hear from Sonos what they suggest to be done here. cheers,--m p.s. happy to provide pcap’s that clearly illustrate the issue at hand.

I was planning to use a beam as front speakers for my new tv. Unfortunately the setup I have has the tv flush on the wall and the beam will stick out and won’t look good. I don’t need need amazing sound for this particular tv setup. And the built in speakers for the tv aren’t terrible. I am installing rear built in wall speakers with the Sonos amp (will use more for playing music). Can I use the amp/wall speakers as rear sound while using the built in tv speakers as the front sound? Thanks for any input. I can’t find anything when I search for info on this particular setup.

My power was out for a day and now my system will not connect to my sub and play 1 surrounds.  now my living room says ?+?+?.  I have tried everything and please help.

I have seen a few similar questions but nothing exact.I have my Arc connected to my Samsung Q70 via the Sonia provided HDMI cable. I never had an issue getting ATMOS vis apps such as Netflix - but recently I can only get 5.1 sound and not ATMOS. Does anyone have advice how to fix this? … I do understand that atmos isn’t available on all platforms / shows.

I have Sonos arc, sub gen 3 and 2 sonos ones 5.1 speaker setup.2016 Samsung tv 65” Class KS9500 9-Series Curved 4K SUHD TV (2016 Model)(This TV doesn't have Arc in the sound settings, but has HDMI ARC input)Apple TV 4K HDR connecting using Belkin Ultra HD High Speed HDMI 2.1 Cable When using Apple TV 4K (previous version)I was able to ask Alexa from the Sonos arc to turn on n off the TV. Arc was integrated with the Samsung tv for audio, even though in the audio settings (both samsung tv and Apple TV 4K) I selected TV speakers the audio used to come from Sonos arcNow after setting up with Apple TV 4K HDRI don't think it has anything to do with Apple TV 4K HDR but Alex won't turn on or off the tv anymore definitely the sound is no longer integrated with sonos arc w
