I have 2xplay:1 speakers and 2x One SL (kitchen & office) speakers all in different rooms. They are all on network channel 11 and all 4 have the white light on the top.First the kitchen one no longer appeared on the list of speakers. It would still play music from the previous time it was used. I reset it and my router and still no luck. Then randomly it came back, but the office one disappeared off my list.Tried resetting the office one but no luck. It is now still got white light. Edit: after typing this the office one is now showing on my iPhone, but not my laptop. If I try to join it in to a group it says it can’t connect.

I’m looking to setup a 5.1 system using an Arc, Sub and two One SLs for rear channel.I hate the look of the rear speakers mounted on the wall, plus I don't have much space behind me as the couch is flush against the wall. I was wondering if anyone has mounted the Sonos One or SLs inside the wall? I did find this interesting mount from widgetsinc but I’m wondering how much sound I will actually be losing by doing this, even after trueplay tuning. As I understand it, the Sonos One’s are not just front facing and so being enclosed like this may be too boomy or distorted? I’ve also considered the alternative by simply going with traditional third party in-wall speakers and Sonos Amp to start, but don’t want to lose trueplay ability +plus cost of Amp. The sonos architectural speakers seem too expensive for what it is.

Hello guys, So I'm a bit perplexed. I've tried reading previous entries and discussions, yet still no luck. The YouTube Music integration is simply useless. It connects fine, but then show nothing other than the playlist "Liked songs", where I'm unable to play any of them because of "Access Denied". It works wonders with Spotify though. This whole Sonos ecosystem is suppose to be without any hassle. So can anyone tell me, what button i have to click, so actually use YouTube music on my Sonos Arc?? Sorry if I sound angry, but this really shouldn't be needed 

The Arc work perfectly as you would assume. The sub only works when I switch the Arc to wireless. I though I could have the Arc hardwired while having the sub wireless. No matter what I do, I cannot get this to work. At one point, It said the sub was connected to the Arc but it didn’t produce any sound. It had a white light. Again, if I switch both the Arc and Sub to wireless it works fine. Thanks

I just bought an ARC for the the living room so I moved the Beam to our bedroom.The bedroom TV is a Samsung 43" Class TU7000 (un43tu7000fxza). The ARC port is labeled eARC and that's what it's plugged into, from what I understand that should work. My Beam is the only thing plugged into the it and it's the same cable that was working with my Sony TV in the living room.HDMI eARC mode is enabled along with Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC). I've hard power cycled both the beam and tv, both unplugged and plugged in, I've also factory reset the beam and that did not resolve the issue.I can mange the beam with the Sonos app and am able to play music on it, but when running the connection troubleshooter on the Sonos app it's telling me CEC is not connected.Any and all advice is appreciated, thank you!

Hello,I own a Sony 65XH9077 running Android TV, that’s hooked up to Sonos Arc.I have the strangest issue where I can never switch back to TV’s built in speakers, while the Arc is connected. If I change the output to TV, playback stops (e.g. Netflix, HBO Go, etc.), and the output gets switched back to the Sonos Arc after a couple of seconds.Any ideas how to fix this please? My current only solution is to phisically disocnnect the Arc or unplug it from mains.Why woudl I want to not use the Arc? That’s a different “issue” I’m kind of facing. The Arc, at the lowest volume (which on TV shows as 2, even though on TV speakers output I get increments of 1’s, with the Arc I get incremetns of 2), it’s still too loud to use durring the night. One solution was to use volume limiting in the S2 app for the Arc, but that’s just like trowing away half of it :)

Any help pleasei turn my tv off and it turns the arc off but then about 10 seconds later the arc starts playing the tv audio although the tv is still off, so u then have to tap the button on top to stop itanyone have this issue?

Hello, I have 2 Sonos Play 1 speakers which work perfectly on the Wifi. I’ve just bought a One SL and this one can’t be linked on the wifi. First it tries to connect, then ask me name of wifi + password but doesn’t work. On ethernet it’s ok however I couldn’t place it where I want. How can I fix this wifi issue? I already tried 10 times to reboot the One SL + the router…bestyann

I’ve owned a number of Sonos products over the last 5 years and my subwoofer just stopped working the other day.Tried to do a factory reset however the light just stays solid white (no flashing orange/white light)Contacted Sonos who have said there is an issue and can offer me an RMA, without saying what is actually wrong.Has anyone else come across this issue before?  Looks like I’ll need to spending another hefty amount for a new product, very annoyed.

Hello, Just purchased an Arc, currently in the phase of finding best settings with my set up and just wondering if anyone else has the same setup and can share their settings?I have a Sony X900F which supports ARC but not eARC, an Xbox Series X and of course the Sonos Arc. So far I have found the following:On the TV Sound menu:ClearAudio+ turned off.Sound Mode: StandardAdvanced Sound Settings:Dolby Dynamic Range: StandardDolby Digital Plus output: Dolby Digital PlusSettings on the Xbox Series X:Speaker audio: 5.1 uncompressed (though as far as I can gather my TV does not support LPCM multichannel so it shows up as Stereo PCM on the Sonos app)I experimented with Bitstream - Dolby Digital which was louder and seemed to have a little more spacing in the audio however it introduced an extra ~100ms audio lag (up to 300ms) and was noticeable. HiI currently use my arc set up with Sky broadband with no problems but am thinking of changing to virgin for Broadband and just wanted to see if anyone uses this and if it works OK over WiFi or if they have 1 speaker wired ? Thanks in advance. 

Hi thereI have 2 Play1s setup as surround speakers with a Playbar but unfortunately I am getting no sound out of them. It used to work fine but has recently stopped and I am tearing my hair out trying to fix it.  I have tried removing them and adding them but to no avail.They are connected to the system, as pressing the button on them pauses the music ok.  The only clue I have is that when I go into the “about my system” it says that my wireless network will not support the use of surrounds with my playbar. However I don’t know what to do next to resolve this (and it used to work ok…?)Any help welcome!thanks

Have had a beam for 18 months / set up no issues - using sonos app on mobile and connected to TV to use as sound bar - Bought Sopnos Move 6 moths ago again no problems set up and use via Sonos app on mobile.1 month ago changed broadband from Sky to BP and updated Iphone to new hand set - since then had nothing but problems ? maybe related or maybe not ? Move has connected and works - however beam will not connect to broadband and wont play TV soundeither - have followed all instructions ( turn off beam turn it back on / Turn off WIFI turn it back on / take it back to factory settings - all done and still wont connect) When its connected through ethernet cable to modem it works but once back near tv and not hard wired wont connect wirelesslyAny suggestions gratefully received    

I have a Sonos beam speaker connected to my hi DEF projector when I connect my other Sonos speakers to the beam I have a constant drop outs of sound. I have two sets of Sonos one speakers and one set of Sonos play one speakers all on my Apple extreme network. I also have a satellite Wi-Fi router that I am not using the network but it is active. What can I do to stop these cut outs? I’ve already change the channel on the Apple extreme router twice. Thank you

We have had three Sonos products on one system but recently the Sonos One SL disappeared from the system for no apparent reason. We have tried to re-add it to the system by resetting the factory settings. The app says it recognizes the product and has added it to our system; it also says that the product may not appear initially and, if so, to un-plug the product then turn it back on again to complete set up. I have done that several times but the product is still not appearing on the system with the other products. I have also rebooted my wi-fi but that has made no difference.What can I do?

Just added 2 one sl to Arc. As suround.The sound from tv is heared only through arc. Playing music through my cellphone the sound is great.Why...??

How to make the grouping of Room Grouping option stay as chosen?Eg: Beam connected to TV (Group 1) + One pair (group 2-stereo pair) = New group (Group1 + Group 2)When i ON the speakers and TV, by default the sound coming out from the TV only goes to the Beam and not the ONE pair. I need to use the Sonos App and choose the “New group” everytime i restart them in order to get sound from the One pair. Any solution ?

I use my neighbors wifi, so ethernet isn't realistic. I have been trying to get my speaker to connect to my phone, and it won't connect.  Any help?

I have had many problems with my Sonos system since I bought it two months ago. Almost daily for the last month all of my devices cannot connect to my system. Typically I can reconnect by power cycling some combination of the router, the modem, and the devices. But now my arc can’t connect. I can get the app to find it, but it loses connection while setting it up. This is ridiculous.  I have an arc connected to my TV, sub Gen 3 and two Sonos one SLs pairs as stereo. I have a Sonos One in another room. It is always something. Thinking about returning if I can. 

I was thinking of installing acoustic panels on the walls to dampen some of the reverb in the room, but I’m afraid this will ruin the Dolby Atmos experience, given the Sonos Arc relies on being able to bounce sound off the walls and ceiling. Would this be the case? Any guidance on this would be appreciated.I have a Sons Arc, a Sub and in ceiling speakers as surrounds.

A couple of weeks ago I bought a Sonos Arc to replace the Beam.I have a 2016 Samsung UN65KS800DFXZA, with the following set up:HDMI1: Connected to DirecTV HDMI2: Commented to a Bluray player but honestly, its really not used HDMI3: Connected to Apple TV 4K HDMI4 (ARC): Connected to the Sonos Arc.On my DirecTV box I have the following set:Settings → Audio Settings → Dolby Audio → ON On the Samsung UN65KS800DFXZA I have the following set:Sound → Select Speaker → Receiver (HDMI) Sound → Expert Settings → HDMI Audio Format → BITSTREAM Sound → Expert Settings → Audio Format → Dolby DigitalThe DirecTV sound works fine..it’s awesome.Now on the Apple TV 4K I have the audio format set to:Change Format: OFF, so this sends LPCM to Sonos. Dear support, I have LG OLED 55CXLRA, having a problem changing output from tv to anything other than Stereo PCM 2.0. My tv supports arc and hdmi is plugged into the correct socket. I’ve tried changing output type to Dolby digital, by default after initial setup it Dolby digital plus, however in the app it only shows PCM Stereo 2.0, after closing and reopenning the app or even re-connecting my tv. Please help!

Been there done that with everything I have read with other people submitting the same issue.  Newer top of the line router, speakers are 5 to 20 feet from Mesh router.  Still same, cutting in and out randomly. Have power cycled, removed the sub and added back in, have reset router (Power Cycle), always seems to come back.  Sometimes will go weeks or days with out the cut in/out.  But of course it always happens when you have friends over..lolI’ve read others with direct wiring with Ethernet cable and shutting off wifi to each speaker, and the issue is still there. Diagnostic report# 1676228203

I have a Philips Tv connected via hdmi to the sonos arc.  Works fine until the TV goes into standby then when it’s switched back on they forget to talk to each other. I have to turn off the TV and back on again to establish connection again. I’ve been through every setting on the TV and Sonos, however I’ve not found a fix. 

I just installed a Sonos system. It took me a while to get the Arc soundbar (with sub) and the two One SL speakers all connected. Once I turned the TV off and turned it on again, the One SL surround speakers are not producing any sound. The Sonos phone app is seeing them all together in TV Room and the lights on the One SL speakers are white. Any ideas?
