I've searched high and low and can't seem to find any information on driver impedance anyone have a clue?
Moderator edit:Google Translate-Who recognizes this? We have had a Sonos Ace since August and it is connected to the Arc. Now my daughter told me that she hears a crackling sound every now and then. I have not heard it myself, but we returned the Ace yesterday and received a new one without any problems. This morning my daughter used the new Ace again and the crackling sound is still there. We rewound the program she was watching to check if it was due to the
My Sons Ace no longer activates Siri. It’s not an issue with my phone as have now replaced my phone to a new iPhone 16 and the issue remains. Long pressing the sound control button on the ace does nothing. I’ve spent ages on with Sonos customer services (who were trying to be helpful to be fair) but to no avail. I’ve now very disappointingly received the below email from Sonos which I find unacceptable. Anyone else had this issue? from Sonos: Hello Matthew, I hope this email finds you in good health. My name is Daniela, level 2 member and your case has been escalated to us. I'm sorry about the inconvenience with the Ace not activating Siri any more, I checked and this is actually not a Sonos Ace feature, it may be possible for it to activate by doing a long press in the ANC button, however, if you check the User's guide, there is nothing related to Siri and the Ace being compatible, that said, if it is not working now, we don't have troubleshooting steps for it since this is not part
Is it normal that artwork doesn’t appear on the SONOS S2 headphone area, playing Bluetooth from Apple Music?
Sorry if this has been asked/answered/discussed, but why on earth do that not allow the Ace to be used with Alexa. To me it is a no brainer. There are so many examples of why this is a needed interface. The Ace is a great noise cancelling headphone, but what if I have a timer going on my Alexa for my lunch to be ready, and I’m listening to music while I’m working with my Ace headphones on with noise cancelling going, now I can’t hear my timer go off. This is a simplistic example of use case, yes, but nonetheless, this is one thing I think at this point Sonos has really missed the mark on with the Ace.
Even some very cheap headphones tell you in your native language or in English how much battery life is left. You would expect that from headphones that cost up to 20 times more. Having to open the Sonos app every time to find out is really annoying.
Hi all,Enjoying the headset but the minimum volume seems oddly high. For people with sensitive ears like myself this can be an issue. I’ve seen a few posts over time regarding this but it doesn’t seem like it has had any momentum. It would be really great if we could get atleast one additional volume lever to go lower. Please consider this!
It’s loud even setting it at the min. Can Sonos fix this? I compared it with my Bose Headphone. Sonos Ace is a lot louder. I don’t want to return it. However, if it can’t be fixed, I have no other choice….
Good morning. Sonos Ace, minimum volume is too high. Is there a way to lower it more? Thanks
Has anyone else struggled with the Sonos Ace power button? For me, it seems to work only when pressed for a very precise length of time—not too long or too short. It’s a bit frustrating compared to the toggle switch on my old Bose QC-35 headphones. What’s the secret to pressing the power button?
If I am away from home, will Sonos Radio HD stream via the iPhone app to the Ace headphones? This the last factor is deciding which over-ear headphones to buy, and whether to continue with iTunes. Thnx in advance.
I connected by Bluetooth Ace to our Sony smart TV. Excellent sound no lip sync problem. To get to iPad I shut Ace off, turn iPad blue tooth on and Ace back on to listen to music. How can I get back to listen TV without going into TV settings?

I recently got these headphones and I am having issues with connectivity. It keeps on disconnecting from my laptop. The longest it stays connected is 2 minutes which is very frustrating. Nothing is covering the IR. Not sure what the issue is as it connects fine to my phone.
Hello everyone, I am very interested in the Sonos ACE headphones. However, I probably have a different use case than many of you here. I only want to use Bluetooth very rarely (e.g. when traveling).I'm looking for headphones that I can use wired most of the time in the office. So I have a few questions and would really appreciate your feedback: 1. My understanding is that Bluetooth is completely switched off when I use the headphones with the USB-C to USB-C cable. Is that correct? That would be perfect for me!2. can I also use the wired microphone for Teams Calls (on my Macbook)? Does that work?3. does the ANC also work if I have connected the headphones via USB-C to USB-C cable? Thank you very much for your answers!
Noise cancellation is barely working when I’m in train or similar noisy place I still hear my surroundings, which is really annoying. In the Sonos app the noise cancellation mode is on .. can I do sth else or do someone got a similar problem?
I just got a pair of Sonos Ace Headphones. I use a TIBO 3 box switch to connect my CD player, tape deck and record player to my amplifier.Any idea if I can play an LP through the TIBO via Bluetooth to my new headphones ? Thanks!
I have a SONOS ACE and I use it only with the usbc to jack 3.5 cable because I don't want wave on my head.I test it with an electric field meter : despite the led is white, the headphone always emits in bluetooth (10V/m instead of 0.6V/m). This value is very very high because the bluetooth of my smartphone is off : The headphone ping in continuous to search it.If I turn on the bluetooth with the cable and I use the Sonos application : the value decreases at 3V/m but it's again high.I don't have this problem with my old headphone from an other mark (0.6V/m with cable, it's the environmental noise). There a solution to really turn OFF the bluetooth or it's a software bug ?Sonos can confirms this problem ?
I don't seem to be able to get anything other than lossless in Apple music when listening with my Sonos ace. Settings are set for spatial but is there something else I need to do? Thanks
I just purchased a Sonos Ace headphone set and cannot get it to connect with the app. I already have many Sonos products including Playbar, Play:3, Play:5 and a Connect. All of these I have to control through the Sonos S1 App on my phone. If I go to the “new” Sonos app, it’s like it’s not compatible with ANY of my old sonos equipment. And when I try to add my Sonos Ace it says it can’t find them. If I try to connect the new app with my existing system, it says all of my equipment must be controlled by the S1 app… which can not connect with my headphones. What gives?
I’m experiencing an issue with my Sonos headphones—there’s a thumping or vibrating sound coming from the left earcup. Has anyone else encountered this? Any tips or fixes would be appreciated! The problem sometimes occurs when I put the headphones on without even playing any audio. Additionally, when I have the awareness mode activated, I hear a wind-like noise, even though I’m indoors and there’s no fan; it almost sounds like static. On another note, the zipper on my case disconnected from one of the tracks after only two days of use. I reached out to Sonos to request a replacement and inquired about any changes to the case design, as I remembered MKBHD mentioning issues in his review. I was informed that I would receive the same case with no design changes. If it breaks again, I would need to pay for a new one out-of-pocket, which seems unreasonable. Given the price of the headphones, I would expect a more durable case for my $500 investment.
Hi, I’m trying to use Sonos Ace for daily use on the computer (Windows). When it comes to games there’s constant problems. What I think is happening is that some games wants to use microphone, which then activates hands-free mode or so. So it changes the output to the “wrong one”, while also lowering the sound quality to free up bandwidth for the microphone. This is especially annoying since there is a dedicated wire micrphone that is configured to be the default. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?
Hi!(Sorry I meant Beam gen 2, but I think I can’t edit that anymore)I believe this feature was never there or added back somewhere middle of the 2024?Does it work today and does it support Dolby Atmos when watching movies? Also do you need iPhone to set it up or Android is also ok?One more thing - it doesn’t try to mimic your (limited) home setup, right? I mean if you don’t have height or rear speakers, then it’ll still to mimic 360 degrees? (As well as headphones physically can mimic that)
I recently bought 2 Ace headphones with the idea connect them to the sound bar. I discovered it's not a feature developed for now. I chose them over beat or Apple headphones (they CAN pairing 2 headphones to apple tv!). Did I choose wrong? Do you “sonos” finally decide add this feature? Active noise cancellation is not made for share it? Thanks.
Is anybody else observed the quality of the Ace case is poor and the zip design allows it to stick ? I fear the case material also won’t last , is there an improved case planned ? The case also marks easily.
