Sonos Ace support in Sonos system?

I cannot find info on if Sonos plans for the Ace Headphones to be supported on the Sonos network. Is this planned?

I am aware of the connectivity with the sound bars.

My ulterior motive is feeding music to the headphones from my Brennan B2 and doing so with the same control and convenience as my other Sonos speakers.

No, this is one of the choices Sonos made to keep the Ace as small as possible. Making it a “room” in the Sonos system, would have created a need for bigger batteries as WiFi uses more power then Bluetooth. This would have made the Ace bigger and heavier.

Thanks. Makes sense.  I suggest to the Sonos Product Managers that while at home a super long battery life is less critical. The ability to control if the WiFi is off or on would be important.
