Sonos ace tv swap not working

I have connected my Sonos ace to Sonos beam gen 2 through the app but the sound does not swap. No message on the app to say there's a problem - it appears to think there is a connection but the sound is still coming from the beam and not the ace. I have followed the instructions on the Sonos site but am I missing something?

Try rebooting the Beam that worked for me.

I have this same issue but after one or two successful swaps the issue returns. Do we really have to unplug the beam every time we try to use swap? The way it’s mounted on the wall makes this not really a viable solution. Has this issue persisted for you?

I’m not seeing the issue with Ace/Beam (gen2) here - haven’t had to regularly power-cycle the Beam. If you’re continuing to have issues with the Ace and/or your Sonos soundbar and can easily reproduce the matter, but perhaps haven’t yet contacted Sonos Support, then maybe just give them a call.

Here is the link to contact them…
