I just received a brand new pair of Sonos Ace headphones. I share an office with a colleague, during meetings on TEAMS my other colleagues have said that they do not hear me properly and rather hear my colleague who is in the background on a different call. Does anyone know how to fix this? 

 

So far i am thinking that Sonos Ace is not suitable for a shared or open office environment. . . 

Either your colleague speaks way too loud or you need to get a different pair of headphones with a built-in boom mic.


My Jabra headset did not have such a noticable issue, i will most likely have to switch back to Jabra. Which is a shame, I assumed Sonos Ace would be a good solution, but has rather become an expensive lesson. <ost likely I will return them as i have noticed others have had the same issue. 


Do you have Aware Mode turned on?  I would think that would have an impact, but it might be worth toggling with the settings.

Or you are not talking loud enough, especially with ANC on, as you cant hear your own voice naturally, so maybe talking at a lesser volume than you would normally?


I can confirm that is not the issue with or without ANC activated. Thanks for the suggestion


Also make sure you are wearing the headphones correctly where the buttons are located on the back side and the microphone mesh strip is located on the front. The Sonos logo should be on your right ear.


Yes, i confirm i am wearing the headphones correctly. Inside the ear covers there is an “L” symbol to indicate left side and and “R” symbold to indicate right side.
