I have a Sony ZX707 DAP which I want to use the 4.4mm balanced output, can I use a third party USB C to 4.4mm cable for Sonos Ace?
Es normal que mis sonos ace se escuche un sonido estático en el modo ambiente? Moderator Note: Google Translate- Is it normal for my sonos ace to hear a static sound in ambient mode?
Everytime I try to use the Sonos Ace I have to spend 30 minutes trying to get sound to come out from them and get nothing. I’ve tried switching bluetooth on and off re-pairing, turning off TV swap and nothing works consistently.I don’t know how Sonos could have messed up simple bluetooth connections so much, and multipoint seems to be a complete joke. This morning I’ve tried repairing, switching on/off, everything, and still no sound. These will be getting sent back for a refund.
Considering Ace purchase and reading reviews - Seems like most issues reported could easily be addressed by Sonos. Any guesses on when an Ace Model 2 might be released?
I got my Sonos Ace headphones in August 2024. I don’t use them much but they work very well when switching between my Headphones and Sonos Arc soundbar. The headphones have always seemed uncomfortably hot but for the last month I experience severe itching and can only wear about 20 minutes. I think the Ace may be causing an allergic reaction. I have ordered replacement pads from Sonos. I was wondering if any regular Sonos users have experienced this problem. Has anyone found another solution? Thanks
Update last week my Sonos Ace now have an issue battery won’t last even in off mode charge last night now try to use no battery at all. (Any tricks to resolve this issue?
Hola, I bought last week two Sonos Ace (black and white) thinking that it was possible to use them to watch tv together with my partner. But NO, is not the case. Unfortunately is not possible. Only one can use the Sonos Ace to enjoy theatre and films on TV.When it would be possible this option and when will have the new update with that? Thanks. Sincerely Jordi
I tried pairing my Sonos Ace headphones with another device after having added them to my iphone and I couldnt pair them back in my phone. I had to factory reset them but it was super difficult to repair them back in my sonos app despite the headphones were appearing in my bluetooth settings. The app were not recognizing the headphones. This is innaceptable for headphones at this price point (500 USD)! 😡
Can I continue having the sound on my soundbar while listening to TV ( for my wife ) while I am also connected to the same Tv with my Sonos Ace ( as I like more basses and louder )Watching same movie but I don’t wnt to hear the kids or her complaining .
I am trying to use my new Bose quiet comfort headphones via Bluetooth with my ultra arc.How can I do this??
I have connected my Sonos ace to Sonos beam gen 2 through the app but the sound does not swap. No message on the app to say there's a problem - it appears to think there is a connection but the sound is still coming from the beam and not the ace. I have followed the instructions on the Sonos site but am I missing something?
Well I see SONOS promoting the ace headphones with £100 off.So I go to buy them then up pops a 30% discount trading in an old bit of kit which takes it to £314I then find on line retailers are selling without discount them at £299. I immediately cancel the order citing misleading discounts and trade ins,Nope doesn't get cancelled arrives via UPS, three attempts to get the proper label and collection a the carrier is forty miles away for drop off. Booked collection for last Tuesday of course no showOh and then the return isn't even this country Poland so I get a customs declaration for value of £62 that's how much you are being ripped off, I had just about had it with them after months of problems with the disaster software upgrade.Dragging on for weeks and all the time have my money
I raised a similar issue before but no response from sonos at all. Are you guys listening? Teams calling is horrible. All the background noise is passend through to the People in my calls and I am regularly muted because of thuis. Please fix or explain how I can fix thuis with my settings or at least reply that you acknowlegde thuis issue and can reproduce the observation. Have some decency to value the feedback. Thank you
I build a home cinema, used my exsisting Sonos setup, bought an Arc og two Aces.Me and my wife where ready to watch movies together after the kids went to sleep. Now I learned that you cannot connect two Aces to one Arc. What a disappointment...thats the one and only reason I bought and Arc and two Aces…When will this be possible?
I’m considering purchasing the Ace headphones. I was under the impression that the Ace headphones don’t work with the Sonos app, so you can’t play music to them from the Sonos app. This seems to be common knowledge. So I wrote Sonos support. Here’s the response:“Yes, Sonos Ace Headphones work with the Sonos App. They can be used as another device in the home Sonos network. Music services like Apple Music can be played from within the Sonos App on Sonos Ace Headphones.”Did something change? Or is it just their terrible support?
I’m not getting anywhere near 30 hours of playback life with my new Sonos Ace headphones. Maybe 10 if I’m lucky and a lot worse than even my 5 year old Bose QCs. I’m turning them off after using - is there anything else that could be draining these? The app is a hot mess so I’m not even using that - just regular BT connection through iPhone and MacBook.
I cannot find info on if Sonos plans for the Ace Headphones to be supported on the Sonos network. Is this planned?I am aware of the connectivity with the sound bars.My ulterior motive is feeding music to the headphones from my Brennan B2 and doing so with the same control and convenience as my other Sonos speakers.
The ace headphones are too loud no matter the volume setting. I know this has been mentioned in several other threads, but I wanted to raise it again in a new ticket because it hasn’t been addressed by staff in months and it falls under the very basics of implementing a set of headphones. I’m also the very specific type of person who wants to test a hypothesis, so I have some debugging information that might be helpful to the engineers. My Ace headphones started to correctly report their dB levels to iOS’s headphone safety widgets, so I was able to compare the linear 0-100 volume setting with the reported headphone decibels when playing a steady white noise track. I did this across three headphones: the Ace, Bose QuietComfort 45 II, and Beats Powerbeats Pro earbuds. The latter was included as a reference because Apple’s documentation said the dB reporting feature was most accurate on Beats and Apple products. I’ve included the table of values below, stopping at 50 because the Ace were
I have the Ace Headphones, and I like them. The battery life is amazing.I want to try out the Dolby Atmos encoding for the headphones and as I understand it, I need the Beam Gen 2. I have an 11.1 Atmos setup using a receiver and wired speakers. It works fine but none of it is Sonos product. I am trying to figure out if I could possibly replace my passive center channel speaker with the Beam Gen 2. Some questions:Does the Beam Gen 2 only create Atmos via the HDMI ARC or eARC connection? Using the Optical Adapter does or does not pass Atmos to the Beam Gen 2?Can the Beam Gen 2 be set up to work as a single speaker without the spatial decoding for multi-channel output? If this won’t work at all, is there another way I can get Atmos content to play in the Ace headphones? Thanks.
I have an issue with my Sonos Ace headphones which make them broadly useless for my everyday needs. I have them connected to my phone via bluetooth and also registered to my Sonos App. Whenever they are connected I have a warning on my bluetooth screen saying ‘Problem Connection. turn device off and back on’ (obviously turning it off and on again doesn’t work) I have audio with the device no problem, music, podcasts whatever, but if someone calls me, it doesn’t ever allow me to use the Ace as an option for the call (same if i dial out.) The correct permissions are selected, headphones are up to date V 3.15-232a694e A set of £450 headphones that don’t allow calls….. About right for sonos.
Considering the Sonos Ace. I fly with my wife and we watch show on my phone or iPad together using Apple share audio via 2 sets of Apple AirPod pros. Would I be able to have on the Ace and then share audio to her AirPod pros so we could both watch the same show? Me using the Ace and her with AirPods. This is strictly for travel. Sorry if it has already been asked.
As my wife likes to watch TV at a much lower volume than I do, I originally bought the Sonos Ace headphone so that I can watch TV at a much higher volume with her while using the Sonos Arc Ultra. In fact, I had a live Chat with the Sonos tech before my purchase, and I asked the person this specific question. The tech responded positively saying that both the Ace and the Arc Ultra can be playing sound coming out of TV. I found out after the purchase, this was not the case. What a big disappointment.I wonder whether it is technically positive to enable the TV sound swap feature of the Ace while maintaining the sound coming from a sound bar. It it is, would others be supportive of asking Sonos to enable this feature for lots of people who, I am sure, would have similar issues with partners who wish to have a different sound volume while watching TV together?
Hi Can any current owners confirm that the ANC works when wired/plugged in as I want to use them for long-haul flights connecting to in flight entertainment via jack. Thanks
Why is Spacial Audio - Head Tracking grayed out. This is while connected to Apple iPhone 15. App & Ace updated today.
