Hello,

I just received my Sonos ace, I seen when i push or i adjust the left pod, like a « cut sound » or something like that.

Is it normal or not ?

Thank you

Hi @Louisb018

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

It is possible that if you have Active Noise Cancellation active, you will hear or feel some change in the audio pressure as you adjust the headphones, yes. ANC uses microphones placed all over the headphones, and some of them are inside the cups - as you adjust the headphones, those mics may well pick up slightly more sound than usual and ANC will attempt to correct for it, resulting in the momentary change you hear.

I suppose it does depend on what a “cut sound” is, of course.

If you no longer hear this change when ANC is turned off, then ANC is what is doing it. It’s entirely normal.

I hope this helps.

Hello Corry,

thank you for your answer, I have the same issue when i disable the anc or the transparency mode.

need to refund my headphones or not ? :)

Hi @Louisb018

In that case, I recommend you get in touch with our technical support team who have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos system and what it reports - if further troubleshooting does not help, they will look into replacement options for you.

I hope this helps.
