Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

When I open the Sonos App, go to Amazon Music Service > My Music > Albums and choose an album from my Amazon library, no play, shuffle controls appear. This just started this last week or so and I’ve tried the usual: signing in and out, reinstalling, reauthorizing Amazon Music.  Anyone have the same issue? Support for Amazon and Sonos drew a blank and pointed fingers at each other.   

why can’t sonos keep various artist albums in one folder under compilations like it use to. every compilations album is now split into single songs.

I am going to put in a call to Sonos next week when I can. Just received my Sonos ace and when connecting to Sonos Arc volume is still very low even at 100%. Have seen all the discussions on how to may fix but still no resolution even after 8 months+ from release. This is shocking.. think I will be returning mine if this cannot be resolved quickly. Took advantage of the 30% off offer but now think this was too good to be true. Surely the tv swap should be flawless being the Sonos ace main USP!  am I missing anything to resolve this issue? thanks 

How do I give my daughter access to control music selections on my Sonos system

So, for the past 3/4 years. I have had the ARC and sub working flawlessly with my older non-4k Samsung TV. It had a Direct TV Stream box and Apple TV. Here is how it was connected:ARC to TV-  HDMI to optical out using the Sonos dongle Direct TV Stream to TV-  HDMIApple TV to TV-   HDMIVolume was controlled with either remote(Direct TV or Apple TV remotes) and you would see the ARC respond to any volume changes via the lights on the front of the ARC. The TV would show that it was using external speakers.OK, everything worked great. Now here comes the issue.I get a new Sony Bravia 4k TV and did a basic swap. The only thing I changed during the swap was I removed the HDMI to Optical dongle and went straight to the HDMI/ARC port on the TV. Now it nothing comes out of the ARC. I even swapped tt with a newer ARC just in case it was stuck on the old settings but it still didnt work. Once connected with Arc Ultra my other speakers era 100 and move 2 not visible.If I connect Era 100 or Move 2 Unable to see Arc ultra. 

Which subs are compatiable with Arc Ultra?Sub mini, Sub 3 or Sub 4. Which speakers are compatiable with Arc Ultra?

hello.Roam2 plugged into USB-C charger (5V - 3A) showing “Incompatible Power Supply. Roam 2 isn't charging properly”.It does charge to 100% (although discharges faster than I'd expect when power is turned off).have tried other adapters, same error.is this significant? thanks

Hello,I’m considering buying Roam2 as a remplacement of my previous portable speaker that I used for my pc. The pc is a few years old and has no bluetooth. My previous speaker (Bose) could be used either with bluetooth, or by being directly connected to the PC via USB.Is Roam2 similar? Can it be plugged directly to the PC without using bluetooth? Thanks a lot for you help!

Hi there,My current setup in the living room: An Arc, a pair of One SL as surrounds, and a Sub gen4.I have recently purchased a pair of Kef R3 meta and am using Cambridge Evo 75 as amp. Just bought a Sonos Port and have successfully connected the Kefs to the port via RCA cables. However, the volume output on the Kefs is extremely low when port is selected as its input source, especially when the volume control on the Sonos app is set to Fixed or Variable. I have switched to Pass-through and tried manually adjusting volume via the amp, which is slightly better but I’d still have to bump it up to above 50db minimum to notice anything. Volume limit is set to 100%. There’s no line-in source on the port because I am only looking to group the Kefs with the sonos system together when I am using the TV. Arc is linked to TV via an HDMI cable.The Kefs and Cambridge evo are perfectly working fine on their own.

My music library disappeared after the May update like many other people. Tried all of the solutions put forward by other people but none worked. Decided to give up and find other systems that would play my music library in the Sonos sound bar. Recently decided to see if Sonos had solved my problem. There was now an update your music library key. Not sure if that was there before or not but tried it anyway. It seemed to work, but then came up with the message that it was indexing my library. It has now been indexing for a week and so I still cannot access my library. Any suggestions, not very computer literate so no compilated solutions.  

Every time I disconnect my Sonos One (like if I move) I have a very difficult time reconnecting. I can’t for the life of me get it to connect now even though I did a factory reset, updated the wi-fi network successfully, tried the new and the old apps. I’m at a complete loss and after 2 hours of trying everything I can think of, I want to shed a few tears. I also noticed that I got a prompt a few times to “log in as owner” which makes no sense because there’s no option other than regular log in for either app. Please tell me there’s some very simple way to get my speaker working! 

I primarily use my Sonos setup to play music from my network-attached storage. However, when browsing content by artist, only the most recent 99 releases are accessible. This means that, unless I know specifically what to search for, I’m unable to access the majority of content for the more prolific artists in my collection. It totally ruins the times you want to scroll through a list of releases for inspiration when deciding what to play. Is there any chance this arbitrary limit will be revised or, ideally, removed?

Hello, I have a pair of era 100 that I use at home as a stereo pair.  Both are connected to the home WiFi and everything is ok.i am taking both units to a wedding celebration to play some music via Bluetooth (at least that was the intention). I now realise that without the units being connected to a WiFi network they can only operate as individual Bluetooth speakers not a stereo pair. i have a spare WiFi extender I can take with me to the wedding party but the party is in a field hence there will be a WiFi network but no internet connection.the WiFi extender has a dns server so it can allocate ip addresses.I already tried the system last night on my home WiFi network and pulled the plug to the fibre to simulate the set up for the party, seemed to work OK.Provided that both 100s are on a network with valid IP addresses should the system work without internet access?any other way to set this up?thanks for any and all helpDave  

Hi!Im about to build my own home cinema, but i have a question.Im bying a projector screen that is mounted in the ceiling, and a tv on the wall, so i will connect the Sonos Arc Ultra to the Tv and Projector at the same time. Is it possible to conect the Arc to the TV with the optical input, and the HDMI Earc to the projector?I know that the optical input only can deliver 5.1, and the projector will have HDMI earc for the full ATMOS. Thanks! 

My Bufflow NAS drive stopped working due to SMB(!) issues, but did work perfectly with Windows 11 to stream music, approx 18 months/2yrs ago. I have since purchased MacBook Air laptop and need to purchase a new NAS drive to transfer music for iCloud, to again stream. I’d appreciate anyone who’s done this, advising which NAS drive they are using, I’m ok with reasonably simple setups, but nothing too complicated…. I don’t expect recommendations but would like to know what works with MacBook and SONOS… all a bit of a minefield…. Thanks in advance 

Can I reset Sono's system to out of box settings to get rid of an old Apple Music login that is no longer accessible? 

I’ve seen this issue discussed on various forums and across the internet, but no real solution has been provided to the users. Configuration: Arc Ultra + 2 Era 300 + Sub Gen 4 When I switch off the Sub Gen 4, the bass becomes much more present and dynamic—it really pops out of the mix. However, with the sub enabled, the bass in the 80Hz–40Hz range sounds muffled and recessed. Try playing Fast Car by Tracy Chapman in high resolution. It’s very noticeable: with the Sub Gen 4 disabled, the bass sound is clear and well rounded, but when the sub is active, it loses clarity, body and impact. I’ve already experimented with Trueplay (on both Android and iOS), sub volume, sub phase, and EQ settings. The issue persists and seems to be related to a crossover problem between the Arc Ultra and the Sub. Best regards Federico

Bot (received as gift) Sonos Portable Play 5 (Generation 1).  Challenge, after not using for months, I struggle for days trying to get it to operate; it won’t login to play music.  On my iPad & iPhone there are two apps installed: Sonos S1 to operate the Play 5 (Gen 1) device and Sonos (app) to operate the Roam (portable; which works fine).  BUT, the older Play 5 (Generation 1) feels obsoleted by SONOS.  That’s annoying as the system is good and plays well (when I can get it working).Now there is a SONOS S2 app that supersedes opening the Sonos S1, so I cannot move forward with the Play 5 (Gen 1).  Every “year” I am challenged to get this operating.  Annoying.  Why would I want to buy another Sonos device when different operational challenges occur.  To boot, one cannot talk to a live person for help.  Why Sonos???  I invite someone to help me.  Thanks,

HIIhave sonos play 5 how to connect to my Tv ?My Tv only have optical out

Prior to the app update, I would often use the “Go to album” function a lot. Its useful if you can only remember the name of a track from an album rather than the album name, its useful for exploring albums within playlists, etc. and in general it was just a useful and easy to use feature.The alternative, of ‘Go to Artist’ then scrolling through sometimes dozens of albums is clunky and frustrating. I’ll often end up literally googling an album name to search for that rather than finding the album in the app itself. Why is this seemingly very simple, but very useful feature still missing 12 months after the app update?

Has someone experienced trouble getting your Bandcamp collection (new and older bought music) showing in Sonos app to play? or does the collection appear out of phase so that when you play a track another one reproduces instead?Any ideas would be appreciated.

Sonos Roam 2. second time dead now. Last time I had help from SonoS Service, thank you, great service👍. It happens again. Tried out Standard reboot, forced restart and factory settings. Nothing works. Status at the time is red light while charging and nothing else. Any ideas?

Hi all i have a Sonos one second gen and it’s been very good for a long time. However since changing my internet provider to EE in the UK I can’t get it to work. I did a factory reset, plugged it into my router with an Ethernet cable, but I still can’t get the app to connect me. If anyone has been through this and found a fix I would be very grateful
