I have installed a new Ray with two Play 1 surround speakers and paired the Samsung TV remote and all is working well including the remote volume control. But I have a question that relates to the remote and powering off the Sonos system.
Does the Ray have the power on and off functionality and if it does should it power off when switching off the TV, if it should how is this configured ?

The Sonos system does not fully power off, but goes into idle mode after a few minutes when no audio is being played.
This allows the audio to quickly resume when required again, rather than potentially needing to wait on the devices reconnecting to the network.
