Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I have recently gone back to Comcast cable and can’t get my Sonos to go on WiFi. my units are between 5-7 years old and they were working fine before I moved back to Comcast. I have spent hours talking to AI but nothing has worked. it works with the Ethernet but when I try to put one on the WiFi I get a incorrect password. I have rebooted, unplugged , changed WiFi password and changed my security firewall to zero.  any suggestions is greatly appreciated.

The volume is gone. I have to press the volume up button a few times before it comes back.I have gone through all three devices and ensured any sleep timers are off.My TV has its default output set to Optical.My Fire TV has its Sound and Vo

I noticed since a month that my Sub Mini disconnects from internet or doesn't play the room content (it is configurated well), like ones a week and I need to wait like 1hr to it auto-connect again or I restart it manually and takes like 5-10min to connect, I followed all the steps from articles of support and nothing and I know that Sonos speakers make a mesh for others products nearby (except the Era 100 and Era 300) so my Ray makes one, right?Also I have my router that extends the wifi signal from the original router, but also the signal provided by the original router can reach a bit of signal so sometimes it connects to it and not to the router extender or makes a rarely configuration, so one Era 100 and Sub connects to the original and the another Era 100 to the mesh of the Ray and the Ray to the original router so it's very strange and with this sometimes sounds normal (good) but sometimes it sounds with interference or don’t sound. Hi All, I watch a lot of premier league football in the UK and the Now TV app has dolby 5.1. Would a pair of era 100s with a decent sub be a good setup for watching soccer? Thanks

So i got my Ace headset around January and have been absolute loving them, the ANC is super sweet and the sound too. about a month ago i slid my fingers across the headband and noticed there was a sharp bumb, still not sure what it is, as i dont really wanna take them apart. My question is, if this is reason to send them back, ive been very careful with them as its an expensive piece of electronic for me, and im afraid the sharp thing will eventually pierce the headband. 

All of a sudden I cannot play my localy stored music anymore from my iPad. Same music is on my iPhone and no issues with that device.So same music (NOT downloaded music from Apple, but own music tranfered from pc) plays without any problem from iPhone (like it always did) but not from iPad.I can see all the songs and can select by Airplay where they have to be played, but I don’t hear anything. After about 10 seconds the music starts playing by the speakers of the iPad.Changed nothing to the system and all devices are updated.Already reinstalled app on iPad without any result. Any solutions/ideas?  

I have had a couple of SONOS ACE and they all have the same problem, the audio in the calls. When making calls people can't hear me in the best way, it's as if the microphones didn't work the right way. The problems that the people I talk to mention to me is that they hear interference or that my voice is too low. I thought that with the new update this problem would be solved but no. I recently connected my SONOS ACE through the USB - C cable to my iPhone and the surprise was that the audio problem in the calls was solved, the people I talk to can hear me very well. My question is do you know how to fix this problem with the wireless connection? Or do you know if SONOS is working on fixing this problem? Does the same thing happen to you?

I have a music library that includes Windows Media Player (WPL files) playlists. I am continually curating these and they are primarily what I play. In the app I select Music Library, Imported Playlists, the playlist of interest, and then start using the Play button.Some weeks ago, this functionality stopped working. Pressing the Play button resulted in a spinning icon. Whereas doing this used to clear the existing queue and then play, this was no longer the case. I had to explicitly first clear the queue myself, and then pressing play would work. Ok, I got around that and lived with it.However, as of last weekend (Sat 3/22), this no longer worked, and further, playing my imported playlists does not work at all. Pressing Play results in an endlessly spinning icon. Pressing the ellipsis icon (...) and then trying alternate methods results in:Play Now: something went wrong Play Next: unable to add to queue Add to end of queue: Unable to add to queue Replace queue: spinning play iconPlayi

I have an Arc/Sub 3/Era 300 home theater system and i’m having a lot of problems with performance. will connecting every speaker to ethernet help? Right now only the Arc is wired.

Hi, I have recently noticed that on my Sonos playlists about 50% of the songs which I access via Apple Music are displaying a ‘item no longer available’ and not playing. If I take them off the playlist and then re-add them, the song plays so it’s obviously ‘available’. I have de-activated/activated the account to see if that clears the problem but to no avail. I’m just getting frustrated by spending so much time re-doing my playlists. It appears to be a problem with the S2 app. Any suggestions? 

The audio from my Optoma projector to my Sonos Beam stopped working during an update on June 10.  I use an audio extractor which I verified still gives me sound on other devices, but my Sonos system does not work anymore. Is Sonos aware of this issue? Are they working on a patch to fix it? 

Update of 2 Sonos One SL does not work, all recommendations of the support done multiple times. 3 Sonos One SL and all Sonos 5 updates worked ok

My couches are either side of the tv, running perpendicular with the soundbar. I am wondering which era model would be more forgiving as I'll be putting them behind one of the couches? Other option i have is to move the couch all the way back to the window, about 15ft from the tv and place the surrounds behind me there.

Can a group I’ve created play by default? I have created a group called “Downstairs” pairing my living room and kitchen speakers.I’ve got a Beam and two One SL speakers in my living room and an IKEA SYMFONISK Bookshelf in my kitchen. When I watch TV, I’d like my living room and kitchen setup to play by default without me having to add them manually every time.This is very cumbersome 

Hi folks,I’ve got an LG OLED55C8PLA TV, connected a Sonos Playbar by optical cable. For years I’ve been able to adjust the volume of the TV output through the Playbar using the LG magic remote.  As of about a week ago, this has stoped working. I can adjust the volume of music through the SONOS app using the remote, and I can adjust the volume of the TV using the app, but not the TV output with the remote. I’ve replaced the remote and it hasn’t helped. I’ve tried the Remote Control Set-up in the SONOS app too. Have contacted LG and SONOS for help, but neither could fix it.It may be an LG firmware update, but I’d have thought someone else might have had the same problem and can’t see that others have. Anyone have any helpful ideas?Dave

Looking for people's thoughts. I only have the budget at the moment for either 300s to go with my Arc Ultra or a sub mini and era 100s. What goes better in people's opinions? Thanks

I don’t know what’s causing this, but my middle channel sound coming from my arc ultra is not loud enough. I’ve done everything I can do to try and get some clear and louder dialogue but nothing has worked. My regular arc sounds louder and clearer. My ultra almost sounds muffled and I’ve enhanced the speech enhancement to max. Any suggestions or did I get a defective ultra? I purchased this when they opened up the pre orders. 

Well it's been over 5 months since I was, last posting here about problems with the new app. That's if the count on that old and now closed post is still updating as time moves on. That was when ​@Ken_Griffiths kindly offered to assist me and suggested a whole list of re-configuration to try with the assumption the issues MAY be something to do with my network. As I said, very kind of Ken but a list I looked at with a sense of dread at the time it would take me, on my own, to make those changes, let alone understand the technicalities of some of what was suggested.Well, the good news is that the app is much more responsive now and functions more as was presumably intended before the premature launch. The unsurprising thing, to me, is what this considerable improvement in app responsiveness required me to do. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.Which tells me that my assertion that the issues I was experiencing were nothing to do with my network/ Sonos configuration was CORRECT.I have changed nothing on

Watching TV and Sonos just quits working 

Hey - used Sonos Ace with my Arc Ultra 1st Gen to watch movies a lot and to date it’s been pretty good. Just done the firmware upgrade, switched on True Cinema and dialogue in action scenes in particular are really muffled. Even switching true cinema off doesn’t get me back to where I’ve been in the past. Anyone else finding the same?

I would like to listen to Music from Spiritune, a third party music streaming service, through my Sonos system. So far, it seems to not be supported by Sonos.It would be nice if support for the service could be added to the app.

I currently have a Sonos system consisting of Arc, Gen 3 Bass, and (2) ERA 300 speakers. I am interested in up grading the Arc to a Arc Ultra. The problem I have is the horror stories of individuals that have done this is people had to do factory resets on the other speakers and True Play sound calibration does not work. This is beyond my abilities. I talked to Best Buy and basically told me there are no guaranties this is going to work. What I'm afraid of is to buy the upgrade and end up with a system that does not work, even putting the original back in place. I even want the the ACE headphones added during this process. I have no problem paying someone to do the work, but finding someone that will guaranty it will work is impossible. Any idea of what I can do to guaranty the upgrade and have peace of mind. Trying to manage content services but it is giving me a message that I have to sign in as the system owner.  I am signed in.  I am confused. 

We’d had our Sonos network installed in this house for over 8 years without any problems. One of our devices is not compatible with the S2 upgrade so we left everything running on the Sonos S1 version without any problems. A few months ago I upgraded two of our phones, 1 iphone is connected perfectly fine, the other refuses to connect to the sonos network.  We’ve uninstalled / re-installed the app several times, checked the WiFi config to triple check the Sonos and iphone are on the same network, checked permissions, etc.  The Sonos network itself is used daily and has never faltered.  After (re)installing we:see the 3 picture / intro screens Choose connect to an existing network the app reports it can’t find the network and we get to the “push the button” screen we don’t have a device with the first “infinity” button, so go to the next screen I press the play/pause and volume up on a device, the light starts slow flashing amber and nothing… eventually the Sonos times out and goes back
