The orange and white indicator light blinks continuously.No sound.How to fix this problem ?

I just upgraded to the new Sonos app, what an AWFUL, AWFUL mistake that was!I need to get the APK for the previous version. Please somebody send me a link.The new app does not allow quick easy control of the volume and EQ settings from the main volume slider. Everything about the new UI is just incomplete or missing. Although I could probably get over how psychologically jarring the new change is (I even lose the app icon now its color has changed), basic features are just missing.I can’t accept the inability to quickly control the sound I hear from a system designed for playing sound. Not fit for function any more! It’s got to go, will downgrade and block future updates.Sad to say Sonos, bitterly disappointing.

Hi I have a Sonos playbar, have owned since new for about 7 years. Been working fine but since we bought a new tv. It’s a Sony oled. It crackles like static every few mins but it only does this if playing/watching something through the tv/sky. Doesn’t have any sound problems if we play music directly through the soundbar. Any info on how to fix? Thanks 

I note from the post announcing the New Search that local music library was not included.  I’m puzzled by this as I can’t be the only person who has hundreds of albums in their local library.  I have two questions:Why was the local library excluded from the local search? Do you have plans to retrofit it into the New Search, and if so when will this happen?

Is anyone having trouble with their sonos roam battery. It seems to be shockingly poor at retaining charge. It goes from full to 10% in about 2hrs. This is not what I would expect from a premium sonos product.I recently purchased a portable JBL Flip speaker about the same size as the roam and it gives about 10 hours play time consistently. And it cost half the price of the roam with the same sound quality. It also retains the charge when off.The roam discharges in about a day even when switched off. Overall the Roam is really rubbish product. Do I just have a faulty model or are all the Roams this bad 

Hi,I can’t connect/add Spotify on the S1 app (both iOS and macOS). The option simple doesn’t exist. I have just set the system up (I’m listening on old speakers) and both speakers (play:5) does show up as devices in the Spotify app but won’t connect. I’ve tried removing Sonos from Spotify but still only let me connect with S2.Any ideas for how I’m going to get it fixed or add Spotify on the app. /P

Hello,Since this week my Beam will only play for ~ 1 minute and cut out. This independent if playing from TV (HDMI) or music via the app. I tried everything but no luck:changed Sonosnet channels changed ethernet cable and connect to different ports cable play instead of beam rebooting (everything...router, sonos equipment, etc) disconnect DECT phone fixed IP or DHCP disconnecting tv and hdmi, beam also stops playing after ~ 1 minute with music only remove the 2 Play 3 from hometheatre set-up (these play fine as standalone, beam as standalone does not) moved beam to another roomYou name it, I guess I tried it….I see there was an update 7/22/2024, coincidence ?Please help me, what can I still do ?

I have downloaded the new app but cannot get it to open it was working fine before .when I attempt to open the app it gives me a list of the countries I click on United Kingdom and that as far as I can get it will not let me press the accept button is there anything else I can do .thanks to anyone that can help 

I have 1 SonosBeam (Gen2) and 2 SonosOne for surround. What is the recommended way to connect them to the network?Is it better to connect them to Wifi 2.4 GHz? or Wifi 5 GHz? (devices are close to the internet box)Is it best to connect the Beam to Ethernet?When I connect Beam to Ethernet, I can see that it is used as a Network switch with the other Sonos devices connect to Wifi. I am not sure if it is the best way to use it or not.Thank you

Randomly, my listening queue get reset when using Apple Music.Is that when there is an update or a network glitch something ? It shouldn’t happen, so annoying … 

Good morning from the UK. I had an email from the CEO of Sonos who was apologising to Sonos customers for the poor performance of the latest Sonos S2 update. There was a personal invite to contact him, including his direct email address. Why oh why did I get a reply from noreply@salesforce.com? I spent quite some time constructing my email which I believe would offer some sound advice on how things at Sonos could improve. The reply I had is like marking your own homework. I'm being realistic here, as I know that the CEO will be inundated with emails from disgruntled Sonos customers, but don't put out your email address and get someone else to respond based on their own thoughts. I want to get through the Organ grinder, not the monkey. I am not suggesting employees at Sonos are monkeys, it's just an analogy to get to the top.  

Just updated to the new Sonos app and Rome will not connect to the app. Information in the app says Rome is not registered. Let’s fix it. I keep going through the steps and it fails each time. I have done a factory reset and a reboot and nothing has resolved the issue

How do you take it off of music and set it to pair with my Beam Gen 2. As I haven't figured it out. Beam works great hdmi connection. Need to have it set so both can play from the TV Any help is appreciated Thx skip

Hey guys, today there is a new update rolling out for Sonos amp. After updated it , I lost control for my subwoofer. I currently have a 3rd party subwoofer connected to Sonos amp via wire, the app used to give me direct control to the subwoofer, I can turn it on and off. After the update, I can still change the sub level and other settings , it’s just the Sub switch button has no effect at all. Because I can’t manually switch the sub off or it has no effect, now I always have the crossover frequency no matter which setup I am switching to (I have two pairs of speakers connecting to the amp and using a speaker switcher to switch them on and off, one pair has great bass already which I needed to turn the sub output off).  Is there a way to make it work , if not can i roll back to an earlier build of the app? Maybe this is simply not an issue with the app, but more of a firmware issue which being deployed along with the app update, I have no idea. I tried to restart the app, even reset th

I made the mistake of setting up my soundbar by it self and then re setting my sound bar, speakers, and sub up in my basement. My problem is that the sound bar is on one system and the rear speakers and sub are on another. Everytime I want the full surround sound I have to open the app and turn the rear speakers on. On help would be appreciated on how to get them all on one system

[Honestly, if I could go back in time I would never buy this product again… but I have had it for YEARS and when it works, it plays great out of my analog speakers. But when it doesn’t….what a drag. PLEASE HELP!]So: I have the CONNECT:AMP (2nd Gen 2018) linked with good wiring to two ELAC UB51-BK bookshelf speakers. The (slow, terrible) new app will manage after reboot and waiting, to play a song … only to inevitably cut out anywhere between 30 seconds and 3 minutes. I have tried it at various volumes, via various sources (Spotify, Sonos radio, etc.) I tried updating the amp’s firmware but only get error messages (“error 1,000”) and have done all the usual disconnect everything, reboot, try again and again and again. Is it hopeless? 

Why can’t add a Apple Music to my favorite stream,I have a Beam 2 gen and stuck in a infinite loop

Ok so my roam was working fine for several years until I let it run out of battery. I then charged it but it wouldn’t turn on properly, just kept flashing white.Factory reset it and I get to the point it flashes green/white. App detects it, plus the little turn but it gets to a point where it says ‘adding to WiFi’ which sits there for ages and eventually fails.If I check my router I can see the Roam has added and even has an IP but doesn’t show in the Sonos app, its flashing white at this point again.Logged out of the appreset the appreset my access points and routerother speakers are fineMy WiFi has 2.4ghz and 5ghz and its UbiquitiThanks

I have a subwoofer which is recently starting to rattle periodically. Can’t figure out if it is a specific frequency, but tends to go away if I hold the inside.  I’ve confirmed that there are no legos inside!

Dear Sonos,Well….you have lost yet another one.  I’ve got over 5 grand invested in your products, and I’m done playing these BS games. I’ve followed every single thing I’ve been told to do by Sonos and have updated constantly to the latest versions. After all that, my path to my library to this day keeps disappearing, and fails to work. My speakers keep disconnecting, causing me to have to unplug power just to get them to work again. No queue control whatever. WTF ?. Everything worked awesome….and I mean awesome, up until your May update. I have supported this platform thru all the highs, and as of recently all the lows too. You have inconvenienced me to no end. I had prepared music for my daughter’s wedding, that obviously didn’t work out due to all the issues you have caused….and is all I get is a “we’re sorry” for the inconvenience we have caused you. If I did my job like your software engineers have done with this rollout, I would’ve been fired. This app update should’ve never been

Hi eveyoneI've been having trouble setting up my Play 5 outside (after resetting it) and connecting it to my Sonos system. For some reason when I try to connect it keeps failing (iOS and latest app update) - so I walk it inside and connect it via Ethernet to register it.  PROBLEM is, I think it’s then trying to connect to my Sonos Beam (7 brick walls away) on Sonos Net…..instead I want it to connect to my TpLink mesh access point which is literally 2meters from where I have it setup outside.  How can I disable SonosNet and force the Play 5 to just simply connect to the Mesh Wifi Access point? I feel like the new app is substandard and doesn’t give the diagnostic information I need (eg WM:0 etc or how it’s connected). My hypothesis that the Play 5 is on SonosNet is my TPLINK shows it connected via Ethernet.  Plz Help! 

I got a pair of the Era 100’s, and I’m quite disappointed by the bass extension. It is noticeably worse than the Sonos One. I did a nearfield measurement on them and it confirmed what I heard. The brown curve is the Era 100 and the green curve is the One. This is measured with no bass boost, no loudness, and at very low volumes to not trigger the limiter. The -3dB point on the Era 100 is at 50Hz when the -3dB point on the One is at 40Hz.  In the video below from Sonos’s own YouTube channel, Sonos claims “a 25% larger woofer increases bass extension, while the volume is turned up, delivering a much deeper low end than the Sonos One” (timestamp 0:48). This is clearly not true. The Era 100 clearly has less bass extension than the Sonos One. To make sure I didn’t have a defective speaker, I even measured 3 different Era 100’s, the response is identical. This is measured on a MacBook Pro with Room EQ Wizard using a cross spectrum calibrated UMIK-1 microphone, placed 1mm away from the speake

Hi All,I pay and subscribe to Pandora music and have for years . But just this week when I have asked Alexa to play something on Pandora through Sonos, it only plays one song and then can’t move on to the next. Any station I choose stops playing. This has been happening whether I choose a Pandora station like Yoga Radio or a specific one like Phil Collins Radio. Anyone else have this problem? Sonos is making Pandora useless to me unless this is fixed. Thanks. 

Hi. Just moved house and wanting to set up Sonos 1.  However getting error message saying can’t connect to your account…? 

I am currently listening to a station and the ballgame because sonis won’t turn off. I can’t reach Sonos customer service because they don’t care. At least crowdstrike gave customers $10 for ruining their lives.
