Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Each time I attempt to update the music library on my Sonos System the library completely disappears and had to be reconnected by entering NAS path details. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

I’m not sure when this started, but I noticed it today. When I load a playlist from my Amazon Music account within the Sonos App, it plays ten songs and the stops with an error that there is information missing from my Amazon Account, go to music.amazon.com to fix it. I log in and everything looks fine. If I delete and re-add the service, it works again for another ten songs then stops. I am a full Amazon music subscriber, not prime or free. 

I'm wondering if it is in the cards with any of your future updates to change the way the playlist looks.  Or give customers the option to view either way. The current view of playlist under Sonos Favorites. See picture A. Is not user friendly and is difficult to scroll through the large font and pictures. Especially those with many playlists. It should be more like a summary line view  Like when you see when you click edit playlists. See picture A.It was better before you guys did the new update on the app so I'm hoping you guys will bring back the older view, it's easier to navigate through. Thank you hopefully we'll see this soon  

I need help how to manage to play different music playlist simultaneously in 2 different speakers. Before to upgate the app this was no problem. Now, since the app is updates, looks is not possible to do this + I receive more and more a the message "something went wrong"…This is not confortable!  

Hi all, SInce early June 2024, my Sonos app on Android is stuck in an infinite update loop. The app says a software update is available, asks to start the update, when I initiate the update the app says that my system is up-to-date, I then click on end and I’m back at square 1 where the app says a software update is available. I’m not sure if this refers to an app update or an update of the speaker software. I can’t get out of this loop. I can only send diagnostics. My Sonos app is completely unusable. I have to go through the Spotify app to use my speakers.I uninstalled the app, updated my android firmware, unplugged all speakers, reset the wifi routers. My system is 2 x One, Sub and Boost.  Do others have the same issue? I couldn’t find a recent post about this. 

Problem with Sonos Roam after App update.  Cannot use Roam as speaker to my phone to hear You Tube videos via Bluetooth.  It works a short time after Roam factory reset, then stops working - seemingly because the Sonos App overrides it. It will still work for music through the app, but no sound with bluetooth connection to phone, even though my phone says bluetooth IS connected to Roam.  Both Roam and phone are connected to same wifi.   I used to be able to switch from hearing music through Sonos App to hearing talk from YouTube videos through bluetooth connection to Roam. The problem is new, after the recent big update of Sonos App.

My arc,sub and two era 300s worked fine together. When the new app came out it keep my two 300s on my wifi and put my arc and sub onto my guest network. The arc and sub worked fine together but i couldnt connect my two 300s cause they cant connect to a guest network. I tried to move everyhing to my normal network but now my arc cant connect to my network. Anyone know how to fix this?

Since the update I have continuous connection issues to my Sonos system costing thousands of euro. The answer it seems is to wait a number of months for Sonos to sort it. It’s an absolute disgrace, typical big brand treating its customers like crap. Only way to influence is to hit them in the pocket. I  was considering a soundbar plus new speakers and second sub for surround sound. Bought Samsung surround system instead to match my Tv. Is the sound quite as good…probably not but it works without the hassle and BS !

I am hit with the 913 error using a ReadyNas Duo v1, I gather because it uses SMB v1!. It seems I will have to buy a new NAS and move my music library over to it. Thank you Sonos.I started to research which NAS to buy thinking it would be nice to use a SSD, lower power consumption and maybe quieter running. It appears however that 99.99% of NAS drives are sold with hard disks, in fact I could not find any that are shipped with SSDs already installed. The drive would be used only for my music library, so write once when a new album is loaded and ready many times playing the music.Would be grateful for any recommendation for a SSD NAS for a music library and any thoughts as to why these are not more readily available. I am not overly techy so I do not want to build one just buy one.Pleased to see Sonos share price is dropping, perhaps that might get the attention of the Owners who seem to be oblivious of the carnage they have created with this update.

I have over a dozen Sonos speakers in 8 different rooms. After the “updates” I can only connect to a speaker/room if I first connect to the single speaker in my dining room. All speakers are Play 1 except one Play 3 (the dining room is a Play 1).  At that point, I cannot play a different station in any different room without first separating the dining room from the current station. 

Please, for the love of God, include some way to make it more difficult to click the “Replace Queue” button on the SONOS S1 Controller app. Like, perhaps an “are you sure?” popup, or some way so one accidental click of the button doesn’t just destroy an entire queue. An undo button would also be a great shout.It’s infuriating when you compile a large queue, then accidentally click that button and all your hard work is undone.

I have 2 era 100 and a sub mini, someone is selling me a arc sl but i couldnt find if its compatible with the other products that i already have, i want a surround experience, can anyone tell me if i can pair all of these products?

Am I missing something,?I can’t see how to save a song to,one of my Spotify playlists post app update,surely Sonos wouldn’t remove this?

Cannot access Apple Music from Sonos app, Spotify no problem, error message reads reauthorise Apple account, trying to do this message reads network problem. Apple Music app plays when accessed on other devices 

Is there anyway without Telnet or rpc to a desktop to control a Sonos system remotely. I only have Sonos amps…no other Sonos products

I added a new Victrola Stream turntable to an existing Sonos system in my home. I don't have any problems with this Sonos system, no dropouts, it's reliable (yes, there are app related issues like everyone else but things otherwise work well). All the Sonos speakers are connected via WiFi. The turntable is connected wirelessly to the Sonos system via WiFi. Streaming settings on the turntable currently set to lossless and medium delay. The turntable is in a room with two identical Era 100 speakers. The WiFi access point is also in this room. All devices, speakers and turntable, report strong WiFi signals. The turntable is able to play music on all but one of my Sonos speakers throughout my property flawlessly. No dropouts, no issues.… Except on one of the Era 100 speakers in the room with the turntable. If streaming to that speaker there is at least one dropout per song, sometimes more. As mentioned I have another identical Sonos Era 100 speaker in the room with the turntable, and if th

I have a sound bar which I typically leave tuned to Classic FM on TuneIn. When done for the day I stop the stream with the power button on the bar. When I press the button again, it starts. I have an IR remote control from an old TV and have it linked to the Sonos sound bar. When the stream is streaming, I can turn the volume up and down at will with the remote. When the stream is stopped, I get weird IR behaviour. Volume down works, but volume up does not. I say either both should work or neither. Anyone else frustrated by this anomaly?NB This is related to an old topic - see link below. I was frustrated big time by that. They seem to have half fixed it. 

Hi all, I was listening music on my deck via Connect amp and all of a sudden everything went off!! Went to the basement to look at the amp and there is no light on the panel or LAN port.Switch power cord of another amp working without success. Tear it down to watch fuse, mosfet and diode based on how-to found on YouTube and everything look ok. No burn smell, capacitors aren't deform, board isn't deform or discolored. So I'm now stuck with a really expensive paper press since, I think, Sonos didn't support the Connect Amp. Anyone have encounter this kind of issue and succeed at fixing it.Thanks 

Sonos really screwed the pooch on the update.  Nothing connects now, simplicity is gone.  What in wide world of sports were you thinking?????  Was there any real world testing done?  Massive screw-up.  Thinking of pitching what I have and starting over with another brand.  Awful product

We know it’s bad, they have not provided guidance, and I can expect a few months before it’s back to ‘before the regression’ of features.  I just want to know how to install the old app. Need to move on with my life. No drama. My mistake for falling for their hype.  thanks!

I have been a loyal Sonos customer for at least 15 years, even invested in Sonos arc which is not cheap.Removal of the iPhone hardware buttons for volume control is a disaster.i have read all the arguments about blaming Apple etc. I just don’t care about this blaming each other. I am now looking to get rid of my Sonos system.m and would advise those looking to check other systems into this issue is fixed. no button volume control is a show stopper for me.the volume always comes on too loud and it takes too long to find the in app slider to adjust the adjustment slider is useless - not easy to adjust.the only time it is ok is when I am using TV with Arc - tv remote works well.all our music is Spotify. I would choose WiFi speakers that allow volume control from the iPhone buttons. a very sad Sonos customer. 

Hi, as many others have also posted about the poor quality, functionality, and poor look and feel of the new App.  Clearly its not popular and has been hurried through, and/or not very well thought out from a ‘real user’ perspective.SONOS, please supply a rollback option to S2 ASAP!Also, can any other iOS users confirm that if subscribed to Spotify, then the number of Playlists appear to be limited via the new SONOS App.  I have a couple of hundred playlists in Spotify, these used to show in the S2 app with no issue, the new App only seems to show around 30 Spotify Playlists in my SONOS Playlist library.  Can anybody confirm this is an issue too?Come on SONOS, please sort this mess out ASAP!!!
