Who can tell me if and when we can expect new app software update to finally solve this error 913. Main reason I bought Sonos hardware is to use this fuction and this error, sh** software patch is so frustrating.  Any help appreciated. Thanks Ben

This isn’t anything to do with the new App, please see this article to resolve Error 913:

I do not know how to link a different topic to this topic, but if you look at the community member @zombiedropper ”Error 913 solved” you will find a much easier way to set up a share on Windows.  This assumes you have already told Windows to allow sharing.  Also if you’re using the Windows Sonos app to set up the share use the 3rd option “Network device…”.

 In zombiedropper’s suggestion there is no need to use Advanced Sharing as described in the Sonos instructions.  Sonos should change the Windows share instructions to reflect the simpler version as described in the zombiedropper 913 error topic.
