Any Sonos soundbar can use Play 1’s as surround speakers or be grouped with Play 1’s in other rooms.
By the way, the Playbar is just one of the Sonos soundbars and no longer in production. The current Sonos soundbars are de Arc, Beam (gen 2) and Ray.
