I can't reset my headphones. The light is purple, not white not blue

Can someone please advise in simple terms,...can I connect my old CD player from my HiFi stacking system to Era 100 ?I want to play my CDs through the Era100 with no other equipment in a simple two piece set up.I believe I use the Sonos Line In adaptor with other cable adaptors, but what do I need at the back of my CD Player ? I have Analogue Output LR and Digital Output Coaxial ?And very importantly, no sort of Amplifier required ?I have trawled the advice online but cannot find a straight forward answer.Thanks all. 

My Sonos arc isn’t recognized by Samsung Q70C Qled using the eArc hdmi input. So it’ll switch between trying to connect to the Arc and the tv speakers. This has been going on for months. Has anybody been able to solve this problem? I see this is a problem going back four years, maybe more. I’ve seen people try lots of different solutions but nothing really definitive. Samsung is aware of this problem and as far as I know, they just don’t care because there hasn’t been a fix. Unplugging the TV and waiting five minutes isn’t a solution. It’s a band aid. if I had known, this was gonna be a problem I never would’ve bought this Samsung. My Arc upstairs has zero problems with my LG tv. So frustrating! 

Hi.My play 1s and play 3s I know are a few years old now but they do not work well with the new app.App doesn't respond just freezes or still shows song that was playing 10 mins ago.My Play 5 gen 2s are fine probably because they are newer.I can't afford to buy newer speakers.Is there anything I can do? My WiFi is fast at 500 mb so no speed issues.

I’ve recently upgraded from S1 to S2. If I select a playlist using Spotify, once I leave the house, the music stops playing on Sonos in the home after a track or two. this never happened on S1, but I don’t know how to fix it.

Hi - I recently purchased a Roku TV and a Sonos Ray, but I am unable to pair the Roku remote with the Ray. Are there any options available to accomplish this? Is there a different Roku remote that I can purchase to pair with the Ray? TIA for any help/direction!

Hello, this is a new issue.  Various speakers cut out randomly only when input is from TV.   Using music feeds from app works fine.  Any ideas?

I have a Sonos one which is blue tooth enabled.i have bought a pro-Ject Blue Tooth Turntable and it won’t connect to my Sonos One speaker.I understand that to pair my speaker with a device, I need to press and hold the blue tooth button on my Sonos until the light on the top flashes blue.Here lies the problem. It doesn’t. It flashes orange. Red. Green and white. Never blue.I have factory reset the device, and tried everything that I have read on line but nothing works. The turntable connected immediately with my headphones (not Sonos) so I know that the turntable is not the problem.I have lost hours trying to resolve. Any help in laymen’s terms would be welcomed. 

New user of the Sonos Community forum, here.Quick post, just to register my disappointment with the Sonos Move 2, which was ultimately returned to the store for a refund just a few hours after purchase.After a lot of research, and weighing various options from several brands, I purchased the Move 2 during the Black Friday sales from a Australian retailer.I brought it home, unboxed it carefully, and allowed it to charge for about half an hour, but I couldn’t get it connected to the wifi.I found plenty of advice online, which I was happy to follow... suggesting a factory reset of the Move 2, terminating the Sonos app, clearing the cache of the app, reinstalling the app, resetting the router, changing the wifi b/g/n modes, and combinations of the above, among other things… but all to no avail.I left both 2.4GHz and 5GHz enabled, then alternated disabling each.I even changed the wifi password, in case the Move 2 disliked numbers, or letters, and eventually to minimise the chance that I was

Sonos has built adware into the app. So when my adware blocker stops traffic to braze.com, a cross-channel marketing campaign platform, it blocks me from being able to play music on my devices for several minutes. Can Sonos provide a response? And allowing my usage of the app to marketing campaign platforms is not an acceptable response.  

Before purchasing two Era 100s I emailed Sonos and asked the question if these were compatible with the original Playbar I had. In writing, they said the Era 100s are compatible. HOWEVER, they will not connect with Playbar to make a Surround Sound  system. I was completely misled by the Sale representatives.

I am brand new to Sonos. Managed to set up ERA300 after some help from tech support and can stream music from phone. Nice!But installed  Port to send music from old amp (like from CDs) to speaker. Installed ok but I can't figure out how to actually use the Port as a source. Likely obvious but I'd appreciate guidance. Apologies for low level question and thanks. BT

Following factory reset of playbar, Sonos app will not connect to services (such as Spotify). App Says no internet connection after trying to connect (not true). Tried all rookie trouble shooting (on / off boot up for both playbar device / WiFi and phone. Help.

Hi - I have a new portable projector and screen for occasional use. How can I set up theatre sound with minimal wires? Is Bluetooth ok ? Must I have a cable stretching from the projector to  a soundbar beneath the screen ? I can only see them on sale about   about a meter long ? Can a soundbar be placed anywhere closer to the viewer /  projector and still create atmos effects ?  Eg to my left or right not face on ?  

I just purchased a Beam 2 and it connects to the TV fine and plays audio, no problem. However, I’m unable to get it working in the Sonos app.It shows Not Registered and then there’s a button that says “Fix it”So I click on “Fix it”, then it says “There was a problem checking for updates - Error code 1’000”. Then I click “Try again” - it says “Checking for updates”. Then it says “We couldn’t update your Beam. Check your network connection and try again later”.I’ve tried absolutely everything: restarted my router, my phone, and the Beam. Checked that the Sonos app is up to date. Tried with Beam on ethernet and Beam on wifi. I don’t have a complex network set up, just a single home wifi network. Please help. I’m losing my mind.

I updated the App on my Android phone to version 80.12.04 last week, but the SONOS App Release Notes page still says the latest version is 80.12.02.??Have I been scammed by the Google PlayStore or have Sonos just not bothered to update their release notes page?I am also having a lot more issues with the 80.12.04 version than i was with 80.12.02, which to be fair was mostly working (say 80-90% of the time). With 80.12.04 I am getting No Products Found, Something Went Wrong, disappearing volume control, slow response to volume change, and Play/Pause interactions etc much more and seems to getting worse each day. (Just adding this for info on the off chance that there might be someone at Sonos who reads this and actually gives a s*** about their customers).Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct. 

I now get the Amazon Music "Something Went Wrong. Try Again" multiple times a day, every day. I do not have Alexa enabled on any of my speakers. My account is valid and in good standing, I reauthorize my account, restart the app, re-boot the speakers, all to no avail. It eventually goes away, but it’s extremely frustrating.

HalloOhne dass ich etwas am Heimnetzwerk oder den Lautsprechern geändert hätte, kommt aus dem einen Lautsprecher plötzlich kein Ton mehr, und zwar obschon mir die Sonosapp den Lautsprecher anzeigt und die Anzeige sich bewegt (der Lautsprecher also Ton zu empfangen scheint). Der Sxhieberegler für die Lautstärke ist jedoch aufgehellt (vgl. Bild im Anhang). Ein Neustart des Lautsprechers hat nicht geholfen. Lösungsvorschläge? Danke! 

Hi. I have just set up my new Sonos speakers (Arc Ultra, Amp, Five, 2x Roam 2).I am able to play Spotify/music through all the speakers at once.I am able to play the tv sounds through the Arc Ultra.But when, through the app, I try to play the tv sounds through all speakers it either: Deselects the other speakers and only plays through the Arc Ultra; or Stops playing audio on all devices. Has anyone experienced the same issue? Any tips?

I can connect my Play:1 and use it when it’s connected via Ethernet to the router, but 30 seconds or so after I disconnect the music stops, and play:1 cannot be found on the app. Sad. I have deleted/redownloaded the app + done a factory reset. What else can I try? 

I still can not use my local library! No search feature at all.Was this not supposed to be done somewhere in JuneMy app still does not work for what I need it. I would like to buy new product, but the app sucks. What is going on?  I play my music now over airplay and this can not be the way Sonos wants it, because other hardware plays over airplay as well and  some of them are pretty good. Where is Sonos going? I can not see any improvements. Make the app prior to march this year available again!  All your promises are just like dust in the wind,Any feedback from Management?   

Ref ⬇ to two other similar posts that have gotten closed without definite answers on an ESSENTIAL feature that we all had “before appaggedon”. 🛎 Why has Sonos Favorites order (stations or playlists or combo) something so essential for daily use of the Sonos ecosystem not been brought back immediately? What is the logic the Sonos Ui/UX teams used for the “no choice, locked, re-ordering” of user’s favorites?  ...and that logic works in which monocultural planet? If one has adopted and adapted the alphabetical order feature for years to the point of even adding numbers or other signs (as order management hacks) in order to organize ‘priority stations’ by groups, from top to bottom, why now is it so multi-step lengthy to get to the stations one had at the top? First clicking on “Sonos Favorites” then on “Stations” or “Playlists” and on top of that many of the stations yield another page with an extra button. The concept of immediacy is not registering on Sonos UX/UI “human centered design

I have 2 tvs that I want to connect to my Sonos Arc soundbar.  Sound from both tvs will never be on at the same timeExample tv one I maybe playing a video game and tv 2 would be football and I want to listen to the game.   Another time I may want to hear the game and just have the game on to follow but not really care to hear it.  What is the best way to hook up 2 tvs to the arc?  Can I use a hdmi splitter or matrix that supports eArc out?  Have the eArcs from both tvs go to hdmi one and hdmi 2 and then have the output of the splitter that supports eArc go to the Sonos Arc?

When I bought the One SLs, I tested them out in one room. Now, I want them where they belong.The Ray is set up in my garage. The One SLs are showing ‘Den’. I want them all in one place as the den doesn’t even exist now. Is there a way to make this transition?
