Hello! Recently, the iOS app stopped making it easy to play music at the same level on every speaker in every room.
Until a few weeks ago, I would select all speakers, drag the volume slider for everywhere down to zero, and then back up to where I wanted it for my music. Now, individual speakers remember how much higher they were set and none of the numbers align.
Is this a bug? Intentional?

Thanks for your post! I see the same behaviour, and judging by the fact that this behaviour would need to be specifically coded for, I think it has to be deliberate - my guess is that there was sufficient feedback complaining that this did not previously happen for us to make the change.
Playing around with it a little, I was able to make all the speakers have the same volume - and remain at the same volume as each other through volume adjustments - by setting them all to have the same volume before grouping the speakers together. The easiest volume to set was 0, so I turned all the volumes to 0 in the room selector (swiping up from the bottom Now Playing bar), then grouped the speakers together, and then was able to set all rooms at the same volume using the single control in the Now Playing screen. So, there is a bit more to it now, but it is still possible.
Due to different speakers having different relative volumes, and due to people having different preferred volumes for different rooms and spaces, I think the current behaviour is probably preferred by more people - I assume we had a focus group look into it.
