Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

So I had a question regarding automatic connecting through the Sonos app. I currently have a near seamless connection once I navigate through the app and click a couple of things. But I have a problem with the fact that once the TV has been powered on, I have to manually connect my roam 2 stereo setup to the beam. Now at last the question, is it possible at all to automatically connect the stereo paired roams to the Beam once it plays audio from the TV? 

I was planning to expand my Sonos system this Christmas but why should I or how should I if the app isn't working properly, you can't easily adjust volume, change music, or manage your multi-room audio setup, essentially rendering the speakers largely useless. So know what I’ve already invested into the system that I can’t manage.

Hi,im new here so please be gentleI have had Sonos for many years of trouble free listening. After years of trying to fiddle together easy to use consistent multi room audio I had found the holy grail.But something has changed I now regularly get the “products not found” message and the only way I have found to fix it is to spend a morning going round my 11 products unplugging them all before resetting them 1 by 1 so that they work perfectly again until maybe one month or maybe three months later I have to dance the same sorry dance once more.This isn’t what I bought intoThis wasn’t the dream I was soldSonos was one of the first companies that had tech that worked like Apple Please help is there a way I can fix this long term so that it all works againThanks in advance Martin 

This is my living room in the picture. I want to find out if the sonos Arc with a pair of aera 300s mounted high to the edge of the vaulted ceiling behind the couch, shown in red, will produce the immersive sound

I just bought a pair of era 300s and I need some song suggestions for a skeptical wife :-) We’re in our 60s and like yacht rock, female vocalist like Carole King, Linda Ronstadt, Norah Jones, etc. The Beatles, Adele, Jason Mraz, etc. any suggestions are welcomed. Thanks

I have an unusual situation.. I originally setup the beam 2 with an older 55” LG TV using optical input (no Earc) with an Apple TV 4k. Worked fine. Then purchased a new 65” Hisense U7. Moved the Beam 2 to the Hisense tv. Kept the LG in the same room. Now the Apple remote controls both TV’s volumes. Apple TV remote is set to IR TV only, not Auto. Any ideas?

If I search for an artist that I know is on Bandcamp - Jon Charles Dwyer, for example - in the Sonos app, I get no results. Searching on the Bandcamp website works fine, so I know he exists. This is the Sonos app on Android.

Set up this system absolutely no problems with iPhone app;Beam Gen 22 x IKEA SymphoniskRouter - dual band, however system was previously set up on 5Ghz with no issuesSince changing to an android phone - not one of my Sonos products will connect to the WiFi, telling me I’m using the incorrect password or to reset my router. My router has not changed. Everything is the same except I am now using Android app to set up the system.I will add- I have tried all of the reset methods on each speaker, reset my phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, tried though both bands of the router - same result.

It’s become impossible to listen to Spotify or Apple Music through Sonos. I have 15 Sonos speakers throughout my house and I’d really like a solution here that’s not to restart/refresh my network. I Work in IT so I know the “quick fixes” I’ve read on these forums. Thank you

I set up a pair of Era 300s and a Sub 4 in my living room. I also set up a single Era 300 and Sub Mini in my bedroom. When I used Trueplay on setup, I was excited as to how Dolby Atmos songs would sound since the pinging during Trueplay sounded like it was coming from all directions (the pinging during Trueplay is actually quite impressive). I have read numerous discussions where people rave about the experience when listening to Dolby Atmos songs; however, I hear no difference whether the Spatial Music toggle is on or off.I am using Apple Music directly through the Sonos app, the height audio is set to 10, the Spatial Music toggle is on, and the “Dolby Atmos” icon is present in the song art. Nonetheless, there is zero difference in the sound when the Spatial Music toggle is turned off. Any suggestions?

Sonos 1 System - 2x Sonos 1’s (2 gen), ZP100, Connect OS.S1, Play 3 & Play 5.Sonos System - 2x Era 100’s.My Play 3 & Play 5 lost power within 3 weeks of each other (Trying to find someone to repair them but having no luck.)I decided to invest in two Era 100’s.  Unfortunately I mistakenly thought I could get all of the above to link together.  Although I have read on the forum that I could get the Sonos 1’s to integrate the with the Era’s via the Sonos app.I successfully set up the Sonos app on my ipad/iphone and connected with my Era’s and my Apple Music, Napster etc. I then wanted to gain access to the music on my Windows PC and Synology server drives as I do with the Sonos 1 App.  However, I could not access the drives via my ipad/iphone and realised that I would need to do this via my PC by uploading the Sonos app.Sonos App installed successfully but despite many attempts I cannot get my PC app to connect to the ERA speakers over the wifi. In short, I’m unable to add any content from Plex to Sonos Favorites anymore since the big app update. Adding an album makes it appear but greyed out and which you can’t select. It also appears to be added as a song. See photo below showing first two albums greyed out.  All my Sonos favorites not greyed out are from Plex before the app update & play fine. Adding albums or content to Sonos favorites from Spotify, Bandcamp etc also works as normal. This was mentioned in a post 5 months ago so am assuming it’s an ongoing bug?     

for the life of me there is nothing on google or in the help center that shows how to switch to and from bluetooth in the sonos app? i want to one minute use spotify connect and then the next minute connect to it via bluetooth. how do you switch inputs from the app? the feature used to be there before the app mess happened. 

Recently my Sonos system won't play music from my Prime music account and reports that my subscription is expired.  However I can switch over directly to Prime and play music so the account and service are working, it is just Sonos that can't access it even though I have streamed to my Sonos for months from this account.

Why is Sonos so slow ?It takes a long time before the app finds the music in a room.also when turning music on and off it frequently does not respond at all.Hope you have a solution.thanks and best regards,Constantiijn 

Has anyone experienced issues with their Sonos speakers dropping out when streaming through AirPlay? I'm using a Sonos One and frequently face disconnections when trying to stream music from my iPhone. Any tips on improving the connection or troubleshooting this issue?

Is this a stand alone speaker, powered?  Does it require an amp connection?  I have a Sonos amp, but of course it doesn’t work because of all the software issues.  I bought another amp I can use if required.  What other Sonos equipment is required to run it?

After my upgrade from Arc + Sub + 2 Play1 to Arc ultra+Sub+2 Era 100 I don‘t have rear and sub sound anymore. I see the HT system  / all components in the app, but it doesn‘t work. TV set is from Samsung, Any ideas ;-)? 

When I log into my account and I go to settings I see the speaker 300 and I click on it and it says you have to login out then in. Which I have done many times and it just won’t work. I just want to add my new speaker to my account and play music, why do you make this simple task so complicated. very poor. 

The Something Went Wrong error has returned. Deleting Amazon Music and reinstalling works for maybe a day, and we’re right back here. All other streaming services work fine. And, yes, I’ve rebooted and restarted everything.

I have a Sonos Move that will not connect to my phone. This has happened many dozens of times since I got the speaker, which is unacceptable. I factory reset it, again. Now it won't let me complete the setup in the app. It keeps saying my wifi password is wrong. It is not. My wifi is fine. I have not changed my wifi. I have not moved. Nothing at all has changed. There is clearly a problem with the speaker itself.  I've spent hours on this, and am so frustrated.  Please help! 

My Sonos system does not recognize my new Ace headphones. My Bluetooth network has added the Ace headphones.  I have tried to unrecognized the headphones as well as reset factory settings.
