Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I have 2 internet providers coming into my house - SKY and AIRBAND. Most of my Sonos components are wired via Ethernet to the Airband router. The WiFi on both routers are on.  The IOS controller shows all components whether I am connected to the Sky or Airband WiFi but the list of services won’t load and I can’t control the music/volume.In the app the Sky WiFi is shown under manage my network - if I try and delete it it reappears after a few seconds. Any advise on how to set this up correctly? I would like Sonos wired for reliability but if I turned off Airband WiFi could I use Sky WiFi to control the system if it’s wired into the Airband router? Most of the units are close together except for a couple.

I have an amp in a kitchen/diner/lounge area, hardwired to 4 Sonos in ceiling speakers. This was meant purely for music. However…having now installed a TV and an Arc, I wanted to use 2 of these speakers as surround.I added the amp as my surround speakers to the Arc and they work fine. Problem is of course is that when I play music it comes out of the arc and barely out of the in ceiling speakers.  Is there anyway to resolve this? Maybe have 2 amps, one that is connected to just 2 speakers and the other one to all 4. Or is there a configuration that I can use (I don’t think so…).I don’t want to add any more speakers.Thanks.

I’ve installed a Pro-Ject turntable and a port. Connected the port to the WIFI. Now I get no sound using the turntable and nothing from the speakers for TV, streaming services, etc.  When I go to TV, for example, and select all the speakers in my ecosystem, the app indicates it cant connect.   I’ve got no use of my Sonos now for anything. 

Why can’t I use Trueplay on my new iPad 2024, 13”. When I used to be able to use it on my old iPad Air which was nearly 10 years old?

HiMy ears get tired listening to the Arc Ultra. Voices are clear but somewhat metallic. It comes even with low sound levels.  Anyone having the same issues and things I can try?

All my content services have been removed (same on multiple Android phones and tables). The system will now not let me add any content services. I’ve rebooted, as well as signed out, tried Sonos Chat support, without success. I can see and add services from the Windows app which works perfectly in all respects. But the same Content Services don’t appear on the App. I don’t even see Sonos Radio.I do still have access to my Music Library though, and all my Devices. When I play one of the Content Services through the windows app then it displays fine in the Android App.My Homescreen: But from windows app:  When I try add any content service: 

What channel is best to use to lower interference from other WiFi products? I use a google fiber modem and service and how do I go through this process of switching my Sonos system to a different channel? Thank you 🙏 

Hello Everyone, just bought a Connect Amp Gen 2,  I wanted to confirm the boot sequence to check I don't have one on the way out. My previous G1 connect amp started flashing the white light as soon as power was applied, and finally staying solid once connected. I expected the G2 to do the same, this time when power is applied, the white light comes on solid for 3 seconds, then goes out for 20 seconds, comes on again flashing until connected then Solid. The 20 seconds with no light is very consistent, so am hoping this is normal ?. Can anyone confirm this is the same on their G2 connect amp pleaseThanks very much 👍  

I always play my music through my Windows computer using iTunes or Apple Music, I have a very extensive library.  Last week my Era 100’s stopped playing when using Airplay.  Airplay works on my Roam still, and the Era 100’s work with other connections, just not Airplay.  I tried Airplay through my iPhone, and same issue.   Anybody have a solution to this?

Hi,I have an old S2 Connect Amp and 2 x 8ohm speakers, i though i was smart so i combined one of the speaker leads from each speaker and so on the connect amp on the speaker output both blacks are connected together and then separete L and R goes to each speaker. The amp plays but cuts at 60% volume. Is this wrong what i have done ? Should i go back to separate black lead to each speaker ?/donib

I have an old 5.1 surround sound system that my customer wants to upgrade. If possible, he’d like to keep his good quality existing front left,right and left right surround speakers. His center speaker and subwoofer can be replaced. The room is large. ( 25’ x 36’ by 18’foot peak ceiling, on a cement slab) My issue is that I can’t seem to get a straight answer from Sonos whether I can use an Arc soundbar as the center speaker and use one Sonos Amp for the two front speakers and another Sonos Amp for the two surround speakers and a Sonos Sub and actually get a 5.1 surround sound system. They’ve sent me links to articles that reference using Sonos surround speakers. Even if the customer was willing to give up his existing surround speakers there are no 120 VAC wall outlets where his existing speakers are and no way to conveniently add the wires because the room is on a cement slab. So ……..   Can anyone confirm that I can use two Sonos Amp’s, an Arc Sound Bar, Sonos Sub and get a

I want to purchase 2 pairs of in ceiling speakers ( 4 speakers total) and also 2 outdoor speakers, I want to see will one Sonos Amp suffice for this if i want them all to play the same thing and not divide up my space?

I have three speakers in my group but when I click apply I get an error saying unable to connect try later. All three are connected to the internet and working independently and earlier today were working as a group. Can anyone advise? 

Have scoured through all the articles here and most seem to NOT have any resolution :-( The samsung ONLY has Arc input no eArc - will this cause the no audio problem? Like others:Blu-ray works (although not ATMOS because of ARC vs eARC) Reg CDs work fine CD layer of SACD works fine ATMOS when coming from the TVs apps works Connecting Sony UBP-X800M2 to a seperate receiver works I dumped all my seperate components to go SONOS and its slowly looking like a mistake :-( 

Can i Sync Sonos Arc with 2 sonos ERA 100 and 2 sonos Era 300 with Sub 4 for my media room?

Hi, wondering if mounted on the wall above sofa or opposite sofa is best?  No TV involved, just want to be able to play music and not have them on side tables.  Pics for reference!   

My Sonos Move has stopped playing music. I have a LG OLED55C44 TV and SONOS Beam (Gen 2) connected via HDMI ARC Port. No other speakers in the setup.When listening to live TV programmes ( BBC News ) there is a background noise which sounds like the air conditioning is on high in the studio. It is the  same if I use iPlayer via Sky Stream, or via the app on the TVStreaming via Netflix or other pre-recorded BBC programmes the sound is clear and Dolby ATMOS works.On the TV I am not offered any advanced settings as the TV is set for sound out via HDMI/ARC port.Any ideas?Regards,David

I have been waiting for over 45 min for support (chat) after waiting for over 30 minutes trying to call Sonos. Why not help customers within a reasonable timeframe to make sure one would recommend Sonos, buy products again and shout its products from the rooftops? Who knows this community is able to help me out! I cannot use my Sonos Roam / not connect the Sonos Roam; the Roam is not recognized by my iPhone nor Macbook.I charged multiple times with two (10V) chargers, to be sure it wasn’t the charger that caused problems; After plugging a charger the orange light does shine for a few seconds and the white light on top starts flashing; Pressing the on off button does not cause anything; no sound, no difference in flashing lights; Pressing the play button long results in the top light flashing white and orange, as described in the support article, but no matter how long I press and wait, the light does not turn green; the WiFi is

What happened you guys? My repeat button is gone. I am trying to play from ‘music library.’ I am on iOS build 80.09.09 which was released in the last few days with the only notes being ‘fixed bugs.’

The app on the iphone and ipad do not show the same information. I’ll have a few speakers playing music from the iphone app, but when i go to the ipad app, it shows the same speakers but with nothing playing. Both apps are updated as of today.
