The Play 5 S1 ones are the ones that have the problem, the connect and two play one ones have no problem.
Your Play 5 (Gen 1)’s are the only speakers in your set up that need SMBv1 enabled on your computer/NAS.
Just as a further note, Sonos Support isn’t in this forum. The only Sonos folks who would normally see you posts are the forum moderators, and not support. And of course, this Sonos user community.

SMB V1 is allowed in the samba setup,
server min protocol = NT1
ntlm auth = yes
The login sequence works in the Play5, the protocol handling is agreed between samba server and Play5.
The system worked for years for all my sonos nodes, it broke since the last FW update.
As you can see from the trace screenshots, when a request for playing a file is done, there are no file names send to the server when the request is made for a play on the Play 5 node. So the samba server returns an error . File names are send to the server by sonos fw when using the Play 1 or Port node. The old connect unit also does not work anymore.
All units work fine for network audio streaming services

I spend two hrs with support on the phone and they did not get the issue, I get questions like who is your ISP provider????
