Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I have been having an issue for months where during every third song while streaming Apple Music, Dolby Atmos clicks off and the song reverts to just stereo. I either have to pause the song and restart or back the song up to the beginning to re-enable Atmos. I can’t believe the engineers aren’t aware of this issue. It is extremely aggravating. It’s always something with this app.  I have Arc Ultra, Era 300’s, and Sub gen 3.

Hi! Right now i have a soundbar under the TV. I use this for better sound on the television. The first gen Sonos Beam. I want rear speakers. Can I add one another Sonos soundbar behind me? Or do I only. have the option of simple speakers. Like Sonos Era.Thank you for the answers.

Hi,After the catastrophic crash of the S2 app, I waited a long (long) moment before recalibrating my system (arc+sub+era300) with a friend's IphoneBut I am realising that the trueplay On/Off toggle does not exist anymore on my android App (80.14.06).This is a strong regression for me (and a new disapointment).Does anyone knows if Sonos planned to get it back in Android App ?Regards

Hi. I’ve decided to create my new home theatre with Beam 2, 2 Sonos 100s and Sub mini. My audio and video sources is AppleTv 4k and I use FHD projector. So obviously my Beam is on on side of the room where the projector is casting the image and the projector is on the outset side (circa 7 m / 22 ft away). Im to make it all work I read and watched few suggestions that I must use an HDMI matrix/splitter as my projector won’t allow me to use eARC. So I bought devices like EZCoo Model：EZ-SP22H2EARCO or its brother EZ-SW21H21A-EO. The challenge I see is while I connect it all together to test with short (eg 2-3 meter HDMI like the white one from Sonos box) it does play Dolby Atmos movies and music from AppleTv. When I then connect it all as it should be with a long HDMI cable (15 m/50 ft) across the room it doesn’t recognize the signal (I guess as eARC) and plays only Dolby Digital or Multichannel PCM. So I know that now with new iOS 18.x you can Airplay 2 with Dolby Atmos too. nie I wonder

I haven’t noticed if your company intends to reinstate “dual mono” on the Sonos app. I have a café that’s in need of dual mono setting for the Sonos One speakers that I already have in the location. Without dual mono I’ll have to move onto a different brand of speaker that offers that feature. Please let me know if you intend to fix this problem.respectfully, David Cochrane owner operator Elevate Cafe

On the verge of insanity here. I’ve upgraded all compatible products in my system (Play 1’s, arc) to the new S2 controller to have everything in one place. Plan was to leave my gen 1 Connect (which is incompatible with S2 controller) and Boost on the old app. After much effort I’ve managed to move everything I wanted to the new app. However when trying to now create a new system on S1 for the Connect/Boost I've ran into a wall. The Boost has connected fine, but when I tried to sort the Connect it just won't work. First my S1 app started crashing every time it asked me to enter the WIFI password when setting up Connect. Then when I tried on different device it just won’t work: app will run into problems due I think to WIFI connectivity. The infuriating part is that the Connect is in the exact same place it has been for years with no problems. I have Arc connected via the optical to HDMI adaptor from my Panasonic viera TV. I can only get stereo. The menu to change it to 5.1 digital disappeared from my TV

How do i remove the serial number and info of  a sonos sub wolfer i am replacing with a new one?

I bought the Sonos amplifier for my wireless system. It doesn’t seem like it’s going to work for me. I don’t have any wired speakers or anything wired in the house. It’s all wireless well. That app still work

Hello Sonos Community, am a bass enthusiast and find myself underwhelmed by my 2s Sonos Sub Gen 3’s with the Sub 4 seemingly being a minor port change, some enclosure changes, upgraded wifi, CPU & RAM I was hoping there would be something more on the horizon ? perhaps a dual 10 or 15 enclosure.. I’m looking to get that visceral experience.. beyond just hearing the bass I want to feel it. And I can’t find anything in your product stack or road map to facilitate this ?

Why are my sorround speakers and sub not showing in my system. No changes made to network or settings. If I haven’t made any changes, what have Sonos done? Any updates?

I have a new network and made all the system changes, but most of my 8 Sonos products won’t stay connected. Other than the usual, what ideas does anyone have?Coincidentally, the two products that remain connected are my oldest ones. 

Having issues using 2 Sonos roams at the same time.   Both “connect” but music will only play from one, when I try to apply changes for both to play, then sound goes away on both speakers, until I revert back to only one playing  

I’m having really annoying issues with sound cutting out on my two Symfonisk bookshelf speakers paired with an Arc. It happens pretty frequently during songs or music. Sound will cut out for about half a second from either left or right symfonisk surround speaker. It can happen several times in a minute or not at all. My set up is an Orbi 770 router with a single satellite.The Arc is hooked up to the router via Ethernet through a Netgear switch.There is also a sub mini wirelessly joined up to the Arc.searched various threads and the suggestions all seem to involve adjusting the WiFi settings to avoid interference. All the devices near the Arc are connected to the router via Ethernet.I’ve tried setting the router to channel 6 for 2.4ghz WiFi. And I’ve changed the Sonosnet channel to 11.I’ve tried power cycling the Sonos devices. 

I have an existing system with an ARC, Sub 3, and two SL One as surround sound used as theater listening and linked to a TV all of which are in my family room. These are on my sonos app showing under family room. I just got a ERA-300 which I intend to put in my office in home room. This will be the first item in this new office in home room. In adding this new speaker to the SONOS app, there appear to be two options, Get started with setup which is “white box” or “Join existing sytem “a non white box” to click on.  Which one do I check?

I have the same problem. I see it has been reported before more than two years ago and some other times all of a sudden the Sonos roam starts making a loud sizzling banging noise almost like an alarm going off. only way to stop it is to open the Sonos app??? What is it? And how can I prevent this from happening?

I have a beam gen2 and I recently bought an era 300. When I play TV audio the era 300 does some interruptions. When I play Spotify and other audio from the application it's fine. Do you have any idea what's the problem?

Youtube Music (uploads) searching is still broken… I’m unable to search my Uploads in Youtube music in the new app (works fine in the old app for my older Sonos device Play 5 that use the old app) Also if I browse my Uploads library instead i can only scroll so far then it just loops back over what i’ve already browsed. This makes finding or searching for that music in my Youtube Music Uploads library useless, and pretty much unusable to stream.

Are other able to use their playlist while at my house

My system was working well but recently only one of four architectural speakers connected to an AMP has sound? I have interchanged the wire connection and only the same speaker has sound.

I recently split my sonos system in two, one operating with the S1 controller and the second with the S2 controller. I continue to access my music collection on a NAS (Seagate Central) with the S1 controller, however with the S2 controller I am unable to connect to the NAS. The NAS is DNLA-enabled. I tried to connect using the same path that worked with the S1 controller. I also tried using the NAS drive’s IP address. Nada.I’ve seen some chats mention the ability of S2 to use more advanced SMB version 2, but I cannot see what version SMB the NAS uses, nor can I change it.I’m able to connect the new S2 system to Sonos radio, so it is otherwise working.Any suggestions for solutions or workarounds would be gratefully received!!I didn’t update my system to the new controller when it came out because I didn’t want the hassle that I knew would await me. I’m going insane I have an Arc, Sub and two Fives for surround3 Ports1 standalone FiveArc always works fine (Apple TV and never use the app on it).  when I want to play music any where else Arc wants to be a Master or something. Arc will always play music even though I rarely want it to with the app.  If I add or switch to another speaker it reverts back.  It’s a constant cat and mouse game to get what I want playing. Often involving unplugging the entire HT setup. Now even that is not working and showing up.  I think I have to reboot everything with HT unplugged to get the other speakers to play.  I just went through and made sure everything was on the same WiFi. I have 2.4ghz and 5.0 as separate SSID. I made sure everything including phone was on 2.4ghz.  What the F am I doing wrong.  Starting to regret investing in Sonos.  This is all bought in the last year or so.  

Hi.  I have a new Onkyo receiver and a new Port.  I have the digital coax output from the Port to the input of the receiver, as instructed in the setup.  I have an RCA output from the Line 2/B of the receiver to the Line In of the Port.  I have the Port grouped with two OneSL speakers.  I can see that the sound is going from receiver to the Port and the other two speakers; however, there is no sound output from these speakers.  What am I doing wrong? I have done the global software update to all of my Sonos products.
