Spotify recently introduced Spotify Basic Family. It has the same features as Premium, but without the use of e-books and it is cheaper. Does this Spotify Basic Family plan work with Sonos?

I have the Spotify Basic Family subscription and have it connected very happily to my Sonos system.

According to this page, no. But it might be harder than average for Sonos to keep their web pages current with over 100 streaming company’s changes. Have you tried connecting your Sonos system to this Spotify account? Ultimately, Spotify is in charge of what types of accounts work and connect. Sonos only points to Spotify’s authorization servers, and music servers, Sonos has no real control over whether a specific account works or not.

Yes! No changes are made to Spotify Connect capabilities. You’re able to view available devices to connect to Spotify here.
