Spent a few unfruitful hours with the nice people at tech support.  Any idea why a system would suddenly not be able to connect?  Speakers show up in app.  App says internet connection lost, try again later, connection timed out etc.

I’ve tried wired connection to router.

Have you tried unplugging your speakers from power and rebooting your router and phone? You should also try deleting and reinstalling the Sonos app.

Yes I’ve tried all that.  What’s weird is I can play through AirPlay from Spotify app (only one speaker), Sonos app just doesn’t seem able to play music, however today I can at least see music selection on Sonos app, yesterday it was all blank.

You could try “force Close” on the Sonos App.

I keep forgetting where it is and just reboot my Controller device.

If they don’t help try a remove and reinstall for the Sonos App.

Thanks for the suggestions.  I’ve tried all.  It just seems that my system will generally not work, with periods of working fine.  Sometimes it won’t work for a couple days, then all of sudden start working (with no changes made on my part).

I spend hours and hours to get a solution for the same problem. I think I have to drop Sonos.

Hello, for some reason my Sonos S1 controller Windows app stopped connecting/finding my Sonos devices over the last week.  This has been working for over 2 years.  The Web App connects just fine. Not sure what has happened.

Do yourself a big favor. I was exhausted from all the hours I spent trying to fix  Sonos Connect with no audio out & system was working just a few weeks ago.

I replaced with WiiM & everything sounds so much better. Setup was super easy, too
