Has any progress been made in maintaining the queue position while doing any other activity within the app?

The position in the playing queue is no longer being maintained if I temporarily do anything else within the app (search, browse, etc.). When I return I see the first song in the queue, not the song I am currently hearing. This is very annoying, especially if there are several hundred songs in the queue.  I’ve been using SONOS for years, and I do not think this was ever a problem before.

Hi @Minishot,

After checking with the team, this is the expected behaviour with the Sonos App where you must scroll to the currently playing track in the list. Alternatively, the desktop controller will scroll to the currently playing track.

As this is expected now with the app, I’ve forwarded this to be changed as a feature request to the relevant teams, though I can’t provide and ETA on when or if this will be added.

Am I correct in believing that this automatic scrolling was originally a feature of the app that was removed in an updated version?  If so, please make clear to the relevant team that this is not a new feature request, but rather a feature was was lost when the new app was released.

Thanks
