Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Dear Sonos App Dev Team,please add the feature to the Sonos app to play and add to queue all songs contained within a folder of the music library. This feature gives massive flexibility and was already included in the app version before the changes of May 2024.Please fix it, 4 months have passed since you killed this feature without reason.Best,Elias  

Trying to fix the Spotify Connect stopping working on my system, i removed the Spotify service. But whatever reason, it also delete the rest of my services.Now when i try to add the service again, the search screen returns nothing, no spotify, no youtube, just nothing. any idea? 

When setting up Five and Move, the setup processes always stalled.  I did everything- a couple of hours with Sonos Customer Support, restarting router, factory resets, etc.I stumbled onto the fact that my McAfee Protect app (on Samsung S10 phone) has several functions; I use anti-virus,  but something called Secure VPN (which I don't use) was also turned on, apparently by accident.   As soon as I turned off McAfee Secure VPN, all my problems with Sonos setups and operations (the Move's microphone appeared to be broken, for example) went away!  Both Sonos speakers installed smoothly and work perfectly.   Apparently McAfee Secure VPN interferes with Sonos WiFi communications. 

I see lots of aged threads on the issue where Sonos stops playing during ads. Most often, pause and play restarts as and music continues until some future random ad louses up my vibe.Yes, my apps and systems are up to date.Yes, my internet speeds are stellar.Yes, my mesh network is operating correctly.Yes, the moon orbit seems to be correct.Yes, I have logged out of Spotify and logged back in.

I recently bought a Sonos Move (1) on sale and am very happy with it. I went to a Best Buy this week and they had a display of all the small Sonos things. Four or five of them. I listened to the same demo music on all of them and it seemed very clear at least in that setting that the Move 2 sounded the best. I just wanted to share that experience. Especially since it is a modest looking smallish mono-looking unit costing a rather hefty $450. So, the fact that it sounds so good is something you should be proud of and will probably be noticed. By the way, in marketing, providing sampling for prospective costumers is a vitally important thing if in fact you are selling quality and not just selling image. So keep putting that stuff in stores on display guys.  $450, though! There must be a lot of fancy materials in there. It’s pretty heavy as you know.

I have 6 play 1’s in the house. All were working fine. However one of the Play 1 is appearing in the app but does not produce any sound. Tried Tuning too but no success cause there is just no sound.

Hi..i have apple tv connected to tv and then to arc ultra everytime i want to play lossless audio from apple music i get stereo pcm sound only and  if i stream with airplay 2 i get lossless.what is the problem why can’t i get it from apple tv..?i’m using sonos app.  

Hello, I have the Arc Ultra, sub 4 and 2 ERA 300 set up in surround mode.  if I set the 300s to full mode, TV off, playing Apple Music through Sonos app, my understanding is the speakers will be louder (equal volume to arc) and full frequency range vs ambient where it would be lower volume and reduced frequency range. When I turn the TV on they will switch back to surround mode controlled by the movie/Arc (no longer in full mode).Assuming the above is correct, is the only item I lose in this config for playing music is that the 300s won’t have stereo right and left channels playing? I assume the ultra will play music in right and left stereo channel mode? So With full frequency range and the ultra playing right and left channels I would think the quality of audio would be pretty darn close to having the 300s in stereo mode grouped with the ultra? any experience with this and opinions on sound quality? thank you  

Can you please advise when the facility to edit and create playlists will be reinstalled on the new App? In the update from the CEO he said this was scheduled for Sept/Oct and yet still there is no sign of it nor any further indication of when it will return. I’d appreciate an update. Thank you 

After roughly 10 months, the Sonos app does not work reliably.  For example, the “no items available” message comes up without any system changes, and goes away for unknown reasons (not for any of the fixes I’ve tried).I just want to listen to music, not be part of an experiment.My question is:  is it fair to give my (seven) speakers away, which lays the problem on someone else?  Or should I destroy the hardware, saving someone else the frustration, given that no fix seems to be imminent?

I have 2 Play 1s, a Beam and a Connect Amp.  One Play1 And the Beam connect and work fine.  The other Play1 and the Connect Amp are recognised by the app but fail connection, and for the Connect Amp will not update the software so can't complete.  I do not understand how 2 items work but 2 do not.  Have had 2 phone sessions wth agents with no success.How can half the system work and half not especially when the play1s are identical.  Surely it can't be anything to do with my router or wifi.I was in the process of updating my sonos but am now having second thoughts unless I can get a handle on the the systems reliabilty.  

We lost power awhile ago and now our connect amp doesn’t work. We have reset it. The lights don’t light up on it. Think we need a new one?

How do I get my line in to work on my new Sonos Move 2?

Does anyone else have this issue and do you have a solution? I have a 1st Generation Arc soundbar. Something I notice too often is that I will be listening to music on the Arc (with 2x Era surrounds) when the Arc suddenly stops playing music. For a while i thought this was down to bad wifi connection but then I started to notice the Sonos App has switched itself to "TV Audio" even though the TV is turned off.I wonder if the TV (or the connected Game Console) is "pinging" my Arc and causing this?I suppose I could turn off the power supply to the TV and Game Console and see if that stops it but that would be an inconvenient solution.I have noticed this occurring more frequently since last year's major update to the App. I rarely get through an album without it happening at least once.

Hi all,Enjoying the headset but the minimum volume seems oddly high. For people with sensitive ears like myself this can be an issue. I’ve seen a few posts over time regarding this but it doesn’t seem like it has had any momentum. It would be really great if we could get atleast one additional volume lever to go lower. Please consider this!

It’s loud even setting it at the min. Can Sonos fix this? I compared it with my Bose Headphone. Sonos Ace is a lot louder. I don’t want to return it. However, if it can’t be fixed, I have no other choice….

My daughter recieved the Roam about 4 years ago and has never been able to get it set up.  I recently began trying again to see if I could do it.  It has been recognized by the system and Wifi has been connected but it will not allow me to register the device.  I would like to at least be able to use it as a blue tooth speaker but understand that can’t be done unless the device is registered.I don’t understand why this has to be so complicated with all the personal information required and the many steps needed.  I see instructions to reboot my router, turn the device on and off holding the button until the second tone…, and finally, to sign out of the app and back in.  All I want to do is use the speaker with Blue tooth.  This seems like a very touchy system for something that has been around for a number of years and for a speaker that is not inexpensive.  Why do I need a SONOS app to play music from Alexa or apple music?  I can do this through bluetooth from

Yesterday I opened my Sonos app (S 2) on my iPhone to play some music.Instead of the normal screen, I had a message to the effect that “an update is required before app is usable.”I have automatic updates turned off in system settings, and prefer to manually update to a new version in case of bug(s) being discovered, etc..  I have never seen a message like this before, and would prefer to not be forced to update.I am now updated to S2 16.5.1 (build 82360160).Please advise as to (1) why this happened and (2)  how or if  I can avoid being forced to update in the future.

I have 2 people on the network with their respective Android phones and 2 different sonos accounts logged in on each phone.Both phones are able to add the spotify service in the sonos app and play music from within the sonos app successfully to the speakers.However, only on one phone I'm able to play music from the Spotify app directly, meaning I can select to connect to the speakers in the “Select another device” menu and then it connects successfully. On the second phone I can see the speakers in the Spotify app menu and when selecting it will attempt to connect for 10 seconds but then fail. Both phones are pixel 8. I have tried:Reinstalling Sonos and Spotify appLogging into the same sonos account on the phone that doesn't work Rebooting the router
